Ask for Noah! Why you may ask, here is why. We originally went in on March 23 and saw another gentleman who was down right rude. We only returned to speak to a manager about the experience we had earlier that day. We were intercepted by Noah on our way to the manager who introduced the service manager. While waiting we spoke with Noah and felt immediately at ease and started to considering purchasing one again. After the manager spoke with us we continued to speak with Noah and he showed us some cars that we may be interested. We told him today we were just looking and leaving on vacation that same week. I worked with Johann David and Stuart Miller to purchase a 2014 Hybrid Accord Plug-in hybrid. There isn't a huge inventory of these cars at the dealers and I went to 3 other dealers that gave me the run-around on pricing. Been there for the last 3 services to my car and tolerate the staff who appear very anxious. All our family's cars were purchased at 1st Honda of Simi Valley. My most recent visit was a few months ago, I received a full car inspection, so they said while getting an oil change. Went there on Friday as they have quite a bit of advertisement outside reporting no appointment necessary for quick service such as oil changes. They told me they were booked for the day and give me a business card to call to schedule an appointment. I call on Tuesday to see if the have an opening, anything today, they till me the have one opening at 3:30 on Thursday. Take my car to my regular mechanic in the valley, Action automotive repair on Lankershim which I have been going to for over 20 yrs, but didn't want to drive to the valley for just an oil change. I ask them to check my spark plugs as my car feels sluggish. All my spark plugs are fried furthermore my car air filter looked like it was the original. Very disappointed with their service. Won't be back not even for a simple oil change as it appears you get a poor or fake inspection. Will not be returning! read more

Very friendly staff. Tried to keep the sales process moving and minimize the amount of time I had to wait in-between steps. Went there for their used car sale on the last day of the sale and was not expecting to find or buy a really nice used 2004 Honda Accord EX! They showed me the CarFax report, which showed the car had no accidents, only had one owner and took very good care of it. I am CONSISTANTLY blown away at the punctuality, honesty, advise and great experience(s) that I have had over the past FIVE YEARS at the First Honda, SERVICE Department. I came back to my office (i am in Real Estate - so my car MUST be in great working condition, always - the service department is my "pitstop!") this morning and I felt quite compelled to YELP these folks. I must share, I am not a big Yelper. But...every time I show up in the Service drive, with either my wife's Honda Pilot or my Honda Accord, these guys make me feel like I am the MOST IMPORTANT client that they have ever had. Today was unique. I was picking up the Pilot and dropping off my Accord. SEAMLESS! I mean PERFECT experience...I wanna call the owner and tell him/her to give these folks a raise. From the wonderful men who drive the pick-up/drop-off vans, to all of the service techs...all the way up the chain to a gentleman that I have come to know over these 5 years, Greg Levy - seems that he is the guy that carries the team. Originally I purchased a battery at Galpin Honda. The battery died less than a year of having it so I went to First Honda to have it replaced since it was under warranty. I was so disappointed because Frist Honda wouldn't replace the battery or refund me my money or even help me out. They said I needed to go back to Galpin Honda which I told them Galpin said I could take it to this Honda since it was close to where I live. Needless to say they dismissed me after being stranded for two hours at a gas station. I wish that all these Honda Companies would get along and work with one another. I've owned Honda before but after being treated like I was I will never return to a Honda which I advised my friends and family of my horrible experience. DISHONEST. Thieves. Spent 4500.00 ona car that worked for a week even though I was promised after making the repairs it would need no major repairs for at least three years. Anyone needing documentating for all that I say feel free to ask. Stay away. No good. I feel that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman and know no better. If I can give zero stars to this Honda repair center I would. I took my car to this service center in October 2016 after it started losing power and shaking. The Sunday before taking my car to the service center I decided to check out their retail side and test drove a couple cars. I was thinking of purchasing a car since I was told by another repair shop that my IMA battery would be going out soon and it would cost at least 3000.00 to replace so my thoughts was perhaps I'd buy a new car. Before making the decision to buy a new car I decided to take my car in and see what the issues were. I checked my car in and a couple days later I received a call from the service center that it would take around 4500.00 to fix. So I asked the rep to be honest as 4500.00 on a car with the amount of mileage I had was pretty steep and the same amount of money I would be using as a downpayment for a new car. I specificially asked him to check my car out completley to ensure that everything else was ok making sure that no other repairs would be needed. I even told him I did not want after spending that money to need an engine job. His exact words were "that engine is clean, you will have no problems with that car for the next three years". Based on his feedback I took one more day to think about it and decided to go through with it. I was billed for the spark plugs and replacement of the IMA battery. When I picked my car up for the first couple days it worked like a dream. It had power everything. Then bit by bit I started hearing a weird noise, so I called and told them about it. I was not able to take it back until 3 weeks later. They took it in looked at it and said the noise I was hearing and jerky movements was due to the change of gear. I was relocating to MN the first week of November so I left my car behind and arranged for it to be picked up by a transport company. It arrived the third week of November. On the Saturday it returned I took it for gas and drove it to work. From the time I started driving it, I was smelling burnt rubber. On my way back from work it started shaking and losing power. On Monday I took my car into the Honda service center in Inver Grove MN. I spent over 300.00 in diagnostic work only to find out that 1. Honda Simi Valley broke the brackets for my spark plugs, 2. It appeared as if the engine was never opened and checked out by Honda Simi Valley as according to the technician called Nick of Inver Grove service center there is no way they could not see that it needed an engine job if the engine was opened. 3. The left arm controller is shaking terribly and needs to be fixed as it is unsafe, the front brake pads needs replacing and the serpentine belts are rubbing. I tried reaching the owner of the company and the sales manager at least four times but have been unable to reach either of them. No one cares, they got their money and are busy ripping other people off. Long story short they took advantage of me. I am a hard working single mother who spent 4500.00 dollars that came directly out my savings for a car that is no good. I am in the process of looking for a new car and because of my experience there I will not buy Honda again. I am extremely disappointed and feel that because I am woman I was deceived. How low can you go to deceiving people. So I have a car with a new IMA battery that cost 3500.00 and broken brackets for the spark plugs. Thank you Honda. Plus I need to come up with a down payment for a new car. Sad thing was that I could have bought a new car there the same week I took my car in to fix. read more

First of all, the senior sale person Bobby Tarafdar was great. He knows his cars inside out. He is friendly, makes great recommendations and never pressure you for a sale. However, the great car buying experience ended there. When we are on the table for the price, their assistant sales manager Stu totally ruined the rest of the day. I'm not a first time car buyer. Over the last ten years, I have bought 4 new cars and 1 used. Yet, I've never meet a sales manager so rude and arrogant like Stu. I proposed a OTD price, of course lower than what he wanted. I was expecting a negotiation. Without proposing a counter offer, he opened his mouth with "Maybe this car is too expensive for you", "Maybe you should buy a car from a different dealer" and continued. I waited for him to finish and broke down the number for him. After that I increased my offer to show him that I was motivated to negotiate. Then he started talking about his hard pressed suit and how he was paid to make money, and all the other nonsense. Throughout the whole process, never once he proposed a counter offer. So, as he wished, I will take my business somewhere else and recommend all the people I know to somewhere else. So, here you have it. If you want to pay whatever Stu asks you, by all meanings go talk to Bobby, he will make your car selecting process very pleasant. However, if you are expecting a negotiation, good luck, or maybe you should wait until a different assistant sales manager is in charge. read more
