I went there to look at the new stinger. The customer service is horrible and very rude. I wanted to test drive one and if not possible at the moment, set up an appointment. The blond employee told us that he couldn't help us with anything because I'm not worthy of his time. He told me to ask the older guy for help, but nothing changed, and they were very rude. I love kias and the cars they make, but 1st kia of Simi Valley has horrible customer service. I have been to dozens of dealerships, but I have never been treated this badly anywhere. Horrible service. One of their salesperson gave us incorrect price and information over the phone, prompting us to visit the dealership. Once we arrived, the manager changed the price and did not acknowledge that the salesperson on the phone had made a mistake. Instead he put the blame on us for choosing to visit dealership. Does the customer really need to be told they should not have arrived? I have never seen that in business! Terrible business skills and very unfriendly environment. Even if they had a good deal, the sour attitude does not welcome you at all. They will continue to lose Kia lots of money just because of their terrible, sour, rude, arrogant, unwelcoming and unwilling to sell attitude. read more

I didn't NEED a car, but if the price was good.. my experience over all was fantastic, I had Jonathan as my sales rep both times (when I initially looked and when I came back to purchase). I went into 1st Kia of Simi Valley on Sunday to buy a used car. Omar greeted myself, my mom and my boyfriend as we walked up. He took us around the lot and I didn't see anything I liked. He then introduced us to George, his finance manager. He checked inventory for us and then informed us that the 2 other dealerships up the street were theirs also and we could look on those lots. George was very clear in explaining things to us and both him and Omar were very hospitable. They made sure all 3 of us were comfortable and offered us drinks and something to eat while we were working on the deal. They got my payment down to a comfortable number. Shame on Kia Dealership! I bought a Kia Soul around 7/2018. Today 9/4/2019 my kia wouldn't start. I had a tow truck jump start my battery. My mechanic saw a blue label marked 5/2018 by the battery terminals. He said that was when the battery was installed. So I should have a warranty replacement on this "Special Battery". "Special" because normal can batteries won't fit in Kia battery holders. I was told by some service parts rep the operator connected me too. Kia does not warrant batteries on cars they sell! My mechanic felt this was very bad customers service by that Kia dealership. My mechanic has been in business over 40 years! He ordered me the Kia battery and I had to pay $169.99 for the battery! I love my Kia Soul, but I would never recommend going to this shady Kia dealership! read more

Ok first of all Cody was very polite and gracious. He showed me only what I wanted to see. So that is why I'm giving 5 stars. I purchase on 7-27-2014 I made up my mind on which soul in about 15 minutes. The rest of the process took too long. Getting the boss to give the sale price took too long. I think I waited a bout an hour and a half. (3 stars) I had to wait for the sales pitch of the extra warrantees for another half hour. No one did the "old hard sell" but making you wait sooooo long is the new tactic I guess. I have been shopping via COSTCO and via the KIA Corporate website. I thought I was dealing with the "COSTCO program" and I was not and I repeatedly asked for the COSTCO list. I was never corrected and told I was never should the list or I had mixed them up with another dealer and never corrected either way. I felt that was dishonest The younger me would have walked....
