Shame on Kia Dealership! I bought a Kia Soul around 7/2018. Today 9/4/2019 my kia wouldn't start. I had a tow truck jump start my battery. My mechanic saw a blue label marked 5/2018 by the battery terminals. He said that was when the battery was installed. So I should have a warranty replacement on this "Special Battery". "Special" because normal can batteries won't fit in Kia battery holders. I was told by some service parts rep the operator connected me too. Kia does not warrant batteries on cars they sell! My mechanic felt this was very bad customers service by that Kia dealership. My mechanic has been in business over 40 years! He ordered me the Kia battery and I had to pay $169.99 for the battery! I love my Kia Soul, but I would never recommend going to this shady Kia dealership! read more

Collin helped me pick out my 1st kia i was unsure of the models kia had and collin told me all about the top selling suv's and shared what he has learned from his own experience working with kia owners over the last few years, i was a little nervous buying a kia from this dealer because noticed a busy service department and as a former ford owner thats not a good sign,when i told collin about my worries he invited me to meet the service manager Justin and talk to some of the customers in the service department.To my surprise not one person was experincing problems with their car.one man i talked to bought a kia back in 2003 and just comes for the coffee in the customer lounge he said they have the best coffee in town and its free.and the two other women i spoke to get oil changes at kia one of them drove a honda,it turns out kia has the lowest price on lube and oil changes and every one comes with a multi point inspection.I ended up picking a Sorento because it earned the IIHS' Top Safety Pick designation, and i loved everything collin showed me about the UVO eServices capability,he even set me up with apps for Yelp, Pandora, and other services.and told me i will never forget where i parked my car again. read more

I went into 1st Kia of Simi Valley on Sunday to buy a used car. Omar greeted myself, my mom and my boyfriend as we walked up. He took us around the lot and I didn't see anything I liked. He then introduced us to George, his finance manager. He checked inventory for us and then informed us that the 2 other dealerships up the street were theirs also and we could look on those lots. We hopped in a car with Omar and he drove us down the street. I found a 2013 Honda Civic EX-L that I really liked. We went back to 1st Kia and started filling out paper work and talking numbers. George was very clear in explaining things to us and both him and Omar were very hospitable. They made sure all 3 of us were comfortable and offered us drinks and something to eat while we were working on the deal. They got my payment down to a comfortable number. Even though we were there for a long time, which is normal, it didn't really seem like it to me. Omar was very funny and kept us laughing. I have a 2016 Kia Sorento. You wouldn't think that the A/C would go out so soon, but it did. I called the dealer to bring my vehicle in for diagnosis first thing Mon morning. Being that the temperatures are going to be in the 90's and I spend quite a bit of time in my car, I would say that having no A/C in a new car is a big problem that warrants special accommodation. I was informed by the service advisor that he wouldn't even be able to look at it until FRIDAY! He was unwilling to make any accommodation. I suggested that I could drop the car off and get a loaner & he abruptly told me they don't have any loaners. Then I suggested that maybe they could rent me a car & again I was told they don't do that until they know what the problem is. The problem is that I have NO A/C! At that point, I just hung up on the guy. I couldn't believe that I am driving a new vehicle under full factory warranty & they couldn't & wouldn't do anything to help me. Horrible customer service! I can't speak for the sales dept, but I would stay away from the service dept if this is the way they treat customers. Never again! read more

This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and they tried to take advantage of me and my fiancé. We worked with a nice guy who told us checking our credit would only take a point or so off of it. We later found out it took six points off my finances credit. Then when they were seeing what our payments could possibly be the manager came over and tried to immediately get us to sign something agreeing to an outrageous payment without explaining it to us. And when we told him we weren't signing anything that day he snatched the paper off the table and stomped off. Very unprofessional and rude. This post is late but I never officially got to thank Collin at 1st Kia for making my car buying experience a walk in the park! I went in on a Tuesday to bring my Kia at the time in for a service, my lease was up in about a week and I needed to fix a few things before turning the car in. After dealing with their wonderful and always kind service dept, I would have to wait for my car to be done. I was introduced to Collin as he walked by the service counter and after talking for a moment I said I'd love to see the new Kia's. He immediately grabbed me a water and took me out to the lot to see the new cars. I love cars and love the kias, so I was excited to take a peak. Keep in mind I was 100% not coming back to Kia once my lease was turned in! I wanted a change of scenery. Long story short, I came back 4 days later and bought a newer better Kia for an amazing deal all because Collin. He was truly wonderful!
