If only zero stars were possible. They lost two jackets that I asked to have cleaned quickly for a wedding. I'm astounded. They claim they're the only folks who work there and they don't understand how this happened. Either they're incompetent, or they're scamming me. They were nice mens jackets. Brought a NEW jacket to clean because someone spilled coffee on the lining at a restaurant. We muy boyfriend went to pick it up it had a hole in the lining. I went back to ask her to fix it and she didn't give me a solution. Saying she didn't do it. This is was a new jacket . I wore it once and she obviously did it went cleaning it. Website said $1.50 per pound but I was charged $25 for no more than 3 lbs - it was roughly 5 pairs of panties, 1 pair of slacks and 1-2 tops (while I'm on a business trip). Just a little ridiculous if you ask me. **Edit** I came back on a second trip. It has a 10 lbs minimum which explains the cost. The woman was very nice and knowing that definitely changes my review. I'm happy with the quality of cleaning. It's obviously going to be more expensive if they are washing and folding for you. read more

I was a loyal customer here for a while, but they burned me, and I'll never go back. Their dry cleaning is fine, not really any problems there, so they get two stars for that. Don't ever get tailoring done here. The woman who runs the place did a hack job on my shirts, with just a serger seam that did not match the other seams at all. The shirt never laid right after that. Then, this was the last straw: I usually don't have collared shirts done in the wash and fold, but I was in a pinch and gave them a white shirt of mine to wash, not dry clean. As soon as I took it out of the bag I noticed that it had two small dark black stains that were not there before, right on the shoulder. I took it back so they could fix it, and they essentially called me a liar. The man who works there wouldn't admit fault, but he was going to clean it for free anyway. Then, the woman who runs it said to him: "Don't do that again". As in, don't give customers free cleaning when we've messed up again. I took my shirt back and left. read more

This lady has the worst attitude and needs some lessons in customer service skills. I brought a light colored jacket - that I must admit- it was dirty. She charged me $30 to do the job. When I picked up the jacket, it still had lots of stains and she still she charged the $30. She said that she tried but couldn't get rid of the stains. She didn't even apologized or gave me a discount for her bad work. She was so rude that she even left me on the counter and went to the back of the room because she didn't wanted to deal with the problem. Obviously she thinks that that's my problem, not hers. Lady, if you cannot do the job, just tell me in advance and I will spend my $30 somewhere else. I will never go back to that place. read more

Very friendly and they do good work. Prices seem competitive for the area. After moving to San Francisco, I had to find a shirt laundry. Years ago I woke up to reality and realized that for a buck (now closer to two) a shirt it was not worth my time to launder and, especially, iron myself. After a couple of other places that were OK, I tried this one and have made this my regular place. For me it is on the way home from work (major plus) and they do the work on the premises. It is a professional set-up. I have also had dry cleaning done and it has been good, too. The most amazing thing is that the lady who generally handles the counter has remembered my name starting on only my second visit. That is what got them the fifth star! read more

I'm not sure about this place. I dropped off my work uniform (skirt, blazer and shirt) off Saturday. I was told that I could pick up on Tuesday. I go in on Tuesday around 4pm. The lady was rude.. she told me it wasn't ready and that I needed to come back. Impossible.. I needed it for work. So she huffed and puffed.. went and pressed my stuff. How long does it really take? I get that they're closed on Sundays. But still.. if they say Tuesday I should be able to pick it up when they open on Tuesday. Also, they seem overpriced. Those 3 pieces for $17.. I found out the place next to my hotel is a lot cheaper. The best thing about this place would probably be the hours. Most cleaners I've seen aren't open as late. read more

Excellent cleaners -- I just moved to this area, and being my lazy self, I decided to offload most of my laundry here instead of doing it myself. The staff was extremely friendly and they got everything done in two days -- they even caught a few stains and offered to clean them at no extra charge and did a great job patching up a tear in one of my pants. read more

friendly, and they do good work. but pinning my jacket's slash to the top of the hanger, by using a safety pin that has left a hole about the size of a mm..and not doing it along the seam (like how clothing retailers would pin the sensors along the seams so the hole isn't obvious) so there is now a hole in the middle of my slash on both ends. Strongly recommend against using this dry cleaner. First of all they're extremely expensive and do not actually have same day service as they advertise. Secondly, I dropped off a brand new silk shirt with no stains and when I picked it up it had multiple stains. When I brought it back after taking it out of the plastic a week later, the owner accused me of wearing it, despite it having zero wrinkles. I brought in three items for dry cleaning NONE were actually dry cleaned. They steamed them and thought I wouldn't notice, which I did because the scent of my perfume still lingered. On top of that my jacket was ripped and when I brought my items back in the lady was extremely rude to me and told me that I ripped my own jacket. She insisted on charging me for the repair. She couldn't argue about my top for clearly it was not cleaned. I brought my items to Polk and Washington and they are fantastic; not only are they much less expensive the hardware on my jacket was sparkling when they were done and they had it ready for me in two days. I will never go back to First Quality Cleaners, not only is their customer service terrible, their "dry cleaning" is bogus. read more

She always charged me $18 to have both sleeves on shirts shortened, one time, the last one, I took in 6 new shirts and she charged me $25 a pop.
