I had a very stressful experience with this business over Memorial Day weekend. I dropped off several important items (suits, shirts, and dress pants) weeks ago for dry cleaning in preparation for my master's degree graduation trip. When I came to pick them up on Saturday (May 24), I found a note on the door saying they were closed for the entire Memorial Day weekend--despite their Google and Yelp listing showing that they were open. No website, no online update, and no way to know in advance. I had even commuted in just to pick up my items. After leaving a review, the owner called me and agreed to meet on Memorial Day to let me pick up my clothes. I truly appreciated her making that effort, but she was clearly annoyed, and I was told I was "lucky" to get my items because she had cut her trip short (though not because of me). I explained that as a former business owner myself, I know how important it is to keep posted hours accurate online. She said she didn't know how to update Google and Yelp and that she usually relies on other customers to do it for her--which I find concerning for any business. Another thing customers should be aware of: the fine print on their receipt states that they're not responsible for items after 30 days. The owner appears to take that policy very seriously and mentioned that she reserves the right to dispose of items if they're not picked up within that time. That's not something most people think to check, and with such limited hours, it can be a challenge to get in and retrieve your belongings in time--especially if no one answers the phone or updates closures online. I'm thankful I got my items, but the overall communication and attitude left a lot to be desired. I hope they take this as constructive feedback and start keeping their Google and Yelp hours current so others don't go through the same frustration. read more

I've been going here for years and the owner and every employee there have been so kind and gone above and beyond for my wash-n-fold and dry cleaning services. Also a great option for tailoring and mending! I've taken my favorite pairs of jeans there a few times to fix up holes and adjust to elongate their life! I've just uploaded their current hours due to COVID-19, but even right now their turnaround has been incredible. Their cleanliness during this time is great as well, everyone wears masks and no one but staff can enter the establishment. She's set it up so that you drop off and pick up at the door. The woman who owns the business is being complaining lecturing and expressing her dissatisfaction that I have a cat ‍ and therefore sone cats fur is being left on the clothes which I was trying to bring for a dry cleaning . First time she almost made me an effort of taking 2-3 pieces for a dry cleaning . Second time I already cleaned each piece myself before bringing there , but no , it's wasn't good enough , and apparently she's allergic to cats ‍ . Why would she own a dry cleaning ? It's almost like myself will be allergic to a makeup or color and still being an active makeup artist . I'm very disappointed to say the least . Oh and she refuses to take my sweaters as well . I recently bought a lot of vintage wool stuff from Poshmark and brought one dress in to get it cleaned because it was quite dirty. No particular marks just lots of pet hair, dust, general dirtiness. It came back with the same pet hair and dust and with additional stains on the back that weren't there. I used white vinegar and eucalan wool wash to hand wash it myself in cold water and the stains came out and the dress was 100x cleaner. Long story short I paid $12 for extra stains I had to hand wash myself anyways. I was going to bring in all my other clothes as well but I've learned my lesson and will just hand wash everything on my own. read more

They try very hard to make sure you are satisfied with your cleaning; I have sent things back if I wasn't completely satisfied and was not charged. I discovered La Post on Yelp and first used then to dry clean a variety of decorative pillows covers and down fillers. The pillows covers are an eclectic mix of fabrics ranging from suede, leather and antique Tibetan textile. La Post did a flawless job of cleaning each pillow and the cost was very fair. I recently returned with dress shirts and bed linens. Once again, the service was performed flawlessly: Shirts were crisply pressed and the bed sheets were laundered and ironed perfectly, just as I like them. I took a J.Crew blazer and a pair of Piazza Sempione pants here - both pretty standard-issue stuff, the blazer was wool with acetate lining, the pants were cotton-spandex, both dry-clean only. They managed to do a pretty shoddy job with both. The lining of my jacket appears to be disfigured and perhaps melted? I guess they used too high heat when pressing it... The pants are discolored (again, heat?) and now have not one but 3 creases down the back of one of the legs and the front creases are way off the original ones too, so now I have nice double creases down the front. The stuff was also dusted with lint (and I didn't let them sit around the shop for a month or anything) but that's really minor compared to the fact that they ruined my clothes. I'm really disappointed after all these good reviews. I had high hopes, but instead I just ended up with hundreds of dollars worth of clothing mangled by $9 worth of dry cleaning. read more

I love patronizing quality mom and pop shops, and this is definitely one of them. Run by a nice Chinese couple, the clothes were always clean, intact and ready by the date promised. I comment on the "intact" state because elsewhere, I once had a dry cleaning horror story where ALL the hand-beaded sequins on an expensive top FELL OFF. I once left a jacket here for 2 months, and it was still there when I finally remembered (where is my black zip-up? The last time I saw it was at the dry-- oh sh*t). It's nice to know they keep your stuff for a long time. And, you know the prices are reasonable when visitors to your house see the dry-cleaning check on the fridge and comment on it. Prices are reasonable and they get everything done quickly. It amazing how clean she gets my finances shirts... The husband and wife that own this shop are delightful, friendly and do a great job on my clothes. I have never had an issue with them not getting my stuff really clean, with just the right amount of starch and keeping the fabric looking brand new. Additional pluses: I use them as my second closet, and they know it. I usually pick up and drop off shirts 30 at a time and they sit there for a few weeks :-) Second..I have gone in and asked some insane things, like "can you sew feathers all around this sportcoat for me?" Owner showed up at 7:45 after I arrived and stood outside from 7:30, the posted opening time. She charged $20 for about two pounds of wash and fold with delivery to my hotel a block away from her shop, and this was only after I balked at $25. The clothes did show up that day, although I got some socks in the load that weren't mine. So, bonus socks? Makes you wonder. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The prices are reasonable and the owners are very nice, but they ruined a garment of mine and after addressing it with them politely, I wasn't impressed with how they handled the issue. Their 'resolution' was to suggest I take the item back to the manufacturer and complain, when clearly the issue is not the quality of manufacture but their over processing of delicate fabrics! I understand that the dry cleaning process involves bulk items and not every garment can be meticulously checked, but treating silk like cotton, leaving pulls and holes and refusing to accept responsibility is just unacceptable in my book. I would have paid a premium for delicates, but they didn't charge one, and perhaps that should've been a sign in itself. Lesson learned. read more

OMG I think I just had dry cleaning enlightenment. Sadly, I have one very big weakness...I tend to fall in love with Cashmere and High Quality Merino Wool all too easily, often times having to spend an arm and a leg (and the promise of my first child if I were to ever have one) in order to get my loves out of dry cleaning. Today I went to pick up 16 pieces of dry cleaning from La Post (5 pants - 1 needed a button sewn on and a leg hemmed up again, 1 scarf, 1 suit, 7 sweaters, 1 full length coat, and 1 button down shirt) and it was only $76. I have paid $110 for less dry cleaning at one of those environmentally friendly places and was kind of semi scared to pick up my clothes this week. But after this, I will have no more fear of dry cleaning. 4 Stars for price, friendly owners, good dry cleaning job The only thing keeping them from a 5 star review is there hours, I know very few dry cleaners will be open past 7pm, but more often than not I have the perfect piece to finish an outfit and its locked up behind a closed dry cleaner =( read more

I love this place. I drop off a luggage bag full of clothes in the morning, and pick it up clean and folded in the evening. Service has always been prompt, and prices are reasonable. I used to use wash & fold services in NYC, and La Post has consistently kept my clothes in much better condition than any of the services I tried in NYC. Keep in mind that if you're using wash & fold by the pound, and you throw in expensive garments, you are pretty much asking for trouble. Thankfully, the nicest thing I get washed is probably a few jackets and a few bras, and there hasn't been any issue with either type of clothing. Would recommend! read more

Fluff and fold is a smart move. Update! !!!!!!! Count your clothes before you walk out of this place. I was so dumb. I don't always wear the clothing I bring home right away. I still have jeans on the hangers from the post from 2 months ago. I'm a girl I have lots of clothes. Its not a bad problem to have but they are still my clothes and I take good care of them. So in late April I brought a bunch of sweaters, and other things, home from la post and did not count. last week I opened up the clothes on the hanger and realized one of my cashmere vince sweaters is missing the one that should have been in that grouping. I called them and Yolanda seemed very busy but told me I could come in and check the clothes on the rack. I came in a few days later and a man was there. I told him what a yolanda told me and pretty much he got angry and told me that he could not let me look through the clothes which I totally understood. I asked hime why he was so angry. I told him why i was was coming in a month late and he immediately started telling me that I was accusing them of stealing. I wasn't I just told them can we check for the stuff I may not have gotten back and I'm not sure if you guys have it or not. Who knows maybe it's still at the dry cleaners, where they actually cleaned it, or on the racks. He then started yelling at me and I said why are you yelling I'm not even upset and I'm the one who doesn't have my sweater. he then point at me and tells me I don't know what I was talking about it. It was so crazy. I told him that it wasn't really about the sweater now it was about him just getting so upset and I didn't know why he was yelling at me. He pretty much then called me a liar a few times . So I called him a dick and told him he doesn't know customer service because all he needed to do was be nice and listen to me and I probably would have been okay with whatever the outcome was. He said it was his word against mine and I said I'm not even accusing you of anything I'm just asking you to look for the clothes on the rack. So I come back a few days later when yolanda is there and she actually treats me fairly similar and I was so embarrassed because someone else was in the store and all I told her was I'm just hoping you can maybe look for it for me just look on the rack that's all you need to do. she went over to one tiny rack and moved one piece of clothing and then came back said we don't have it. I even had the actual receipt with me had three sweaters marked off but she just said its too old, why did you come back a long time ago and I said because I didn't wear the clothes until now and didn't realize until i took the plastic off and realize the grey sweater was missing. She told me she would look into it and call me if she found anything and I asked her to call me if she found it or not just so we can talk because I felt like she was not listening and very upset and I wasn't accusing them anything. I come in there all the time and spend a lot of money. From dry cleaning to fluff and fold to getting my clothing hemmed. I'm actually kind of hurt by their reaction. It only tells me that they possibly are guilty of losing some people's clothes and just automatically go into defense mode. Because I was not even angry I was just curious if they can look on the rack and they never even did that they were so rude it was beyond belief. I hope there is audio but there's definitely video of our interaction and I want the owner to see it because it was crazy. They lost a customer because they couldn't just look on the rack for me that's all they had to do I would've probably been satisfied but now I'm more curious of why they got so defensive. Definitely going to have to find another place which sucks cuz they were so close to my house. But my neighbor told me they had a similar situation but we didn't go into it. So I'm glad that hopefully I can warn another person about counting their clothes before they walked out of this place because you may also get yelled at for asking a fair question. I went because of the good reviews but what a lousy place.I had taken about 12 pieces of clothing. Pants, shirts, a Burberry scarf. They ruined everything! They made my Hugo Boss black shirts shiny at the collar and left the stays in them so the imprint was left on them. My pants had discoloration and were still dirty. My scarf had those little knots of fabric after it's been put in the dryer! WTF! I went back and all the owner said was to leave them they would try to do them again... F*ck off! I'm glad I paid on my cc and disputed the charge and am Also glad I keep ally receipts for tax purposes as I have filed a case in small Claims court... It was about $900 worth of clothes... That's what I get for going to the TL for dry cleaning. Fml read more

I decided to give this place a try 'cause it got some stars on yelp. The couple who run it are really nice. I was thinking I was gonna get ripped off cause all my life, drycleaners have always been ripping off women. Well, they did a fantastic job cleaning my clothes and altering a skirt and jeans that were too long for me. She even added on a belt loop. I gave them a big pile of clothes to clean and repair and the bill came to $44. Good deal and well done. I'll be going back again. Just a normal hole-in-the-wall cleaner shop. Everyone there is friendly, they do a good job (rarely any missing buttons or weird creases in my shirts, they get out stains I didn't think possible).
