Only one warning here: the food is so good you may find yourself full quickly, but that's never been a problem for me. The food is so good that particularly on Saturdays and Sundays there's often a wait to get in. If I had one complaint, there should either be more of them or they should build an addition. We were blown away! The place was packed, but we got lucky and only had a five minute wait. Gorgeous atmosphere and great service. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. They were perfectly fluffy and flavorful. The strawberries tasted great- hard to find in winter! The lemon curd was not too sweet and creamy. My mom ordered the Tri-fecta and loved everything. I can only give this 4 stars only because the service is slow when you first sit down. This is my second time eating here. The first was at the community table and it took forever before someone came to even try to take a drink order. Today I decide it's a week day so I will sit at a table. I was seated and waited too long. I'm going to keep coming back because I know this location is new so service will get better. So far the food has been excellent. I understand that they just opened and are probably going through growing pains, but this First Watch was very 'meh' for us. Service was excellent. Nothing but a positive review for that side of the house. Food was where they lost me. I got the eggs Benedict and a side of million dollar bacon. The MDB was ok. Not crispy and over peppered. The eggs Benedict was mediocre. The hollandaise sauce was extremely watered down and kind of ruined the meal. I'll give 2 stars for NY style chic ambiance and a great waitress. I was surprised because the food "looked" appetizing. The Cheese grits were flavorless (I tried adding a little pepper and salt to no avail). The "farmhouse" with chicken apple sausage was terrible. The chicken apple sausage was initially missing (and when added, tasted like it had been boiled) and the homefries were a flavor disaster. The Onions were burnt with some sort of soured stewed tomatoes. Both of our orders had a weird bitter aftertaste. The waitress said it may have been the burnt onions on my companions dish; however, mine were actually undercooked, so I doubt that was the case. Salt and ketchup can help most potatoes, but there was no salvaging these. Even the non melting "butter" slathered "toast" was brown on the outside but the inside was doughy and the preserves were watery. From the amount of food left on the tables, I doubt I'm the only one not going back. read more

Pros: It has a great healthy menu plus bacon and good coffee and I love breakfast after 11. Cons: very expensive and way over priced with extremely sloooow service that is so slow they even the food arrives not hot. My favorite brunch spot!! I come here way more than I'd like to admit. The service along with my usual order, the A.M. superfoods bowl, has me addicted to this place. Everybody is super friendly and always on top of their game. The plates come out very well presented. I was so happy to see that they offer dairy free creamer, which very few places have. Just a heads up, If you are dairy free or vegan, the whole grain artisan toast contains milk! (The side that normally comes with the A.M. superfoods bowl). I substitute with a side of potatoes and I'm 100% satisfied. Love this place, plenty more visits to come. read more

Unable to have anyone wait on our group of 4 ladies @ 11:45 on a Tuesday morning. People seated after we were had servers at their table. We asked twice if we could soon have a server & were told they were "working their way back" to our table (which was a round table in corner of room. I believe they weren't properly staffed & were unable to handle the influx of diners. Sad to see, as I had eaten there 2 times since they opened, with no problem. Finally got seated after waiting an additional 45 minutes, ordered our food right away. Received our drinks. Waitress never checked on us. They gave two of our guests food to another table. So they had to re make our food. After an hour wait, after being seated, we got our food. Had to keep reminding the waitress of things she kept forgetting to bring us...we ordered a few side plates. The seasonal menu offered a Wild mushroom frittata that was out of this world, the Million-Dollar Bacon was amazing, and my Chorizo omelette was just impressive. But they were happy to redo the bacon (I didn't complain about the eggs). But still a good place for breakfast. I've waited in anticipation as I watched this being built from the ground up. I finally decided to give it a shot and was really let down. I ordered a chickichanga, which sounded good enough. The description read: Whipped eggs with spicy all-natural white-meat chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. Served with fresh fruit and fresh, seasoned potatoes. First, I realize it was my own fault for not realizing it was going to be fried, but I feel like that should maybe be mentioned in the description, because I certainly would not have gotten it. Secondly, it was not spicy. Third, the flavor was so bland I had to add a ton of Frank's. Fourth, the potatoes were god awful. Half of them were almost raw, while the other half were burnt to a crisp, and not the good burnt that you look for in a breakfast potato... Then the "side of fruit" was laughable (as seen in my photos). This vera cruz sauce was pretty much watered down yellow sauce with some pieces of tomato.. not quite sure what they were going for with that. The server we had was super nice, but unfortunately the 25 minute wait for 2 meals is not worth it for me to go back. I am so disappointed with this place since I really wanted to like it because their menu options look great and on the healthier side. Food is good but service is just terrible. We went to both the camp hill and hershey locations and service was terrible in both. In hershey our server never came to check in on us. She gave us water in jar but no glasses. Finally when the check came we were handed check for a different table and when we notified her she said she will take $2 off since our check would have been $2 cheaper, there wasn't even a sorry for the delay in getting our food out or for the check. In camp hill location the glasses and utensils were so dirty and when i asked the server to get me new glasses she brought the dirty one out again. Also the carnitas burrito that my bf got didn't have any carnitas in it. The server looked suspicious when we said there isn't any pork. She took the burrito inside tore it apart and came back with a side of pork. If this place was managed better they deserve a 5 star for being creative with their menu. read more

I was very excited to find a First Watch had opened in the Harrisburg area. I took my girlfriend and her sister there for breakfast, one of them being their first time ever. We parked in the huge parking lot that overlooks the other end of the newly developed shopping area. As we walked in, we were welcomed into the warm and charming atmosphere that First Watch is known for. The immediate feeling was being in a southern home, with laughter, the sound of clinking silverware, and the smell of coffee surrounding us. With barn like features, wooden fixtures and tables, glass bottles for water, and small home like hand written signs we were truly transported somewhere else. The hospitality easily matched, and we felt like we had been there a hundred times before. The food has never been disappointing. I personally ordered a holiday hash with steak and potatoes, eggs, mushrooms and onions. It made my mouth water immediately. They put a second bowl under my original one so it wasn't too hot to hold, and the food was ready to be eaten without having to wait for it to cool down. Never been to a First Watch before (never even heard of one until like, 3 days before they opened!), but we came on their opening day, and had to come back again the next day because it was so good! If you love fresh ingredients, and clean eating, this is a great choice! I had the Eggs Benedict (BLT style) and it was great, the next day I had the Skillet Hash (farmhouse style) and it was superb as well. Can't decide which one I liked better. Our 2.5 year old loved his bacon and egg kids breakfast meal, and even our 1.5 year old picky eater couldn't get enough of the seasoned potatoes! Of course we had to try the Million Dollar Bacon on the second day...which was awesome! Service was great as well! Make sure you check this place out before word gets out and it gets so popular you have to wait in line to get seated!! My only complaint is a personal preference, so I won't take away a star, but I wish the music could've been a little softer (it was pretty hard and loud rock), which was kind of a rough atmosphere for our we-just-woke-up toddlers' attitudes, but there is also an outside seating area, which might've been a little better for the noise/pounding music-factor- we may try asking to sit out there next time we go if the weather is nice! read more

It was very nice to be seated, to not have to stand around reading boards, to not have to serve yourself, to be given a single page (and not some 30 page novel) for a menu. If you are in a hurry and want a quick bite, look elsewhere. Come here to relax, have a quality meal, and expect to pay a little more for it. For me, it is well worth my time and money, and I will be a repeat customer. My only very minor complaint is, when you enter you must wait to be seated, and at the same entrance/exit, you must pay when you leave. You don't pay at your table. So you have people waiting to be seated trying to get in, and people trying to pay to get out. Nobody knows quite where to stand or line up, and to compound the issue are more customers just loitering at this spot trying to be cordial in thIs bottleneck that is completely unnecessary. read more

The environment is very vibrant and welcoming, with upbeat music playing in the background. All of the food that I've had has been delicious, always fresh, and flavorful! Hostess with an attitude! I don't typically post but the unprofessional and bad attitude exhibited by the hostess that just sat us leaves me wondering if it's safe to eat here. The 2 mugs on the table we're clearly dirty. I asked her to take them and she grabbed them and then proceeded to complain about it all the way back to our waitress. When I asked to speak to the manager, the hostess gave me a smirk with an attitude and continued to glare at me. The manager simply brushed me off by saying it wasn't professional and she would address it. Clearly the hostess was having a bad day but its no reason to take it out on a mother and her son just wanting breakfast. Good help is hard to find. read more
