Was seated almost immediately. The wait for the server was about 10 minutes-unacceptable. The drinks came fairly quickly but the wait for the food , longer than any other location I've visited-about 20-25 minutes. I ordered a turkey burger with no cheese. Burger came to the table with cheese. So I had to wait again for a new sandwich. Other than the wait times, the food was still good. 9/10 would recommend. Forgot to take a pic of the turkey burger

I asked our server for suggestions and, of the half dozen dishes he said he enjoys, I went with The Chickichanga. It isn't what I typically gravitate towards, but was a great experience. The dish was a melange of flavors and textures; it reawakened how much I miss the use of hatch green chilies. The spices in the chorizo and on the chicken were tempered by avocado and sour cream. There was an unexpected pop of citrusy acidity in the chickichanga's sauce that cut through what may have been too heavily unctuous without it. The potatoes were texturally delightful. They were soft inside, floury, with crispy edges on some of them and bits of cooked onion. There was a small fruit cup with red grapes, sliced strawberries, and bits of pineapple, none of which had the tinny taste or soft texture you sometimes get in mid-December. My spouse had a holiday special, carne asada breakfast tacos served with a side of black beans. The beans had pico de gallo on top. He had no complaints about his food, after he removed some of the pickled red onions. The steak was toothsome and well seasoned. He loved the corn tortillas. We both had coffee & water. Our server left the insulated coffee carafe after filling our cups and said to let him know if we needed more. The carafe maintained a good temperature for enjoying the coffee. All of the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was busy with it feeling rushed. This location is very busy, but still good for groups as there was a table of ladies doing a gift exchange during their lunch across the dining room.

A group of 7 of us came here for brunch and they squeezed us in a booth. The decoration was urban farm. The menu was fun and we were excited and torn about what to order because there are so many good things to try. We ordered the green juice & fresh pressed orange juice. The waitress quickly brought our drinks then took our order. I decided to go for the frittata. Everything came quickly and all my friends thoroughly enjoyed the food. This is a popular place that didn't take reservations. Be expected to wait. But for a delicious brunch, this should be on your list!

I took my sister to First Watch this week, and we ordered a seasonal Spring Lavendar French Toast dish to share. The flavor was just right and paired nicey with the complementary coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was vibey and our waiter was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We loved the lavender cream on top, not too sweet with the perfect texture. My usual go-to dish is the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, so I definitely want to take my sister back here so that she can try it! Highly recommend this place!

I've passed Watershed Pub a million times and never stopped, so when I met a friend for lunch, it…read morefinally felt like the right time to check it out. Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. You have to do it online, via text, and it won't allow you to purchase any time less than an hour. Kinda sucks for those carrying out. Totally not the restaurant's fault though. I got the jerk quesadilla without the jerk ranch sauce. They don't serve this or their regular quesadilla with salsa or pica de gallo so it does taste a little bland. The jerk flavor isn't coming thru for me. It's a little disappointing but it's also just a quesadilla so I don't expect much. I'm not deterred though. I'd be interested in trying more on the menu. It seemed like a cozy place to sit and eat. I'd also like to eat there on my next visit. I'll update my review when I do.

The breakfast quesadilla is incredible, and recently I started getting the breakfast burrito. Today I got the smothered breakfast burrito and it absolutely did not disappoint. Legitimately as good as any dedicated burrito spot I've been to as it should be given its a Mexican owned and ran establishment. What I love about this place is that it feels real. It's not trying to be trendy or overly polished like a First Watch or something. It has character. It feels warm, handcrafted, and genuinely cared for. The staff feels super tight-knit, and you can tell there's a lot of pride and love behind the place. I love seeing a Mexican-owned and operated diner doing their thing so well, especially one that feels this rooted in the community. They've also been refurbishing parts of the establishment over time, and it just adds to that feeling that people are actively investing themselves into this place. I can't speak for every item on the menu because honestly I keep ordering the same things over and over. but everything I've had has been fantastic.
