Amazing First Watch with friendly and fast service. I came here with my mom and we loved our food and beverages.

Second time patronizing a First Watch. This location was convenient after kayaking at Creve Coeur Lake, and my vehicle with kayaks fit fine in the large parking lot area. I enjoyed the Tri-Athlete again. At this location, it came with greens instead of a fruit cup, which was a benefit to my health. I would honestly take it either way. She enjoyed the eggs Benedict, which were good, with a slightly firmer yolk than normal. Good energy and vibes at this place...we will be back. read more

Always enjoy a nice brunch from First Watch! Definitely a busy spot for Saturday brunch but worth the wait! Nice warm and family style restaurant. Tried their new and freaking dragon fruit drink and it was great! Also tried the season pumpkin pancakes. Unfortunately, those were a bit underwhelming. I couldn't really taste the pumpkin flavor. I wish there were more non-meat protein options though! Our servers were great! One of our times took awhile to come out and they ended up covering my sister's meal because of it! read more

I came here this morning in hopes of getting a simple breakfast and First Watch delivered. Let me preface this by stating you have to be a brave soul to conquer this location and at peak times on the weekends. Since I was hungry, I was prepared in the event I had to wait. Upon walking in, I noticed there were a lot of people waiting in the front. I figured I'd at least ask what the wait was and hoped it wouldn't be too long, especially since I was dining solo. She told me it'd be about 15-20 mins, so I went ahead and put my name down. In exactly 15 mins, I was notified my table was ready and off I went. It seems like they update the menu every so often and I noticed they had a few new drinks that I was eager to try. I opted for the Mango Passion Palmer, which comprised of mango and passion fruit, as well as organic ginger and green tea. It was incredibly refreshing and didn't have the after taste of tea, which I thought it would. For brunch, I got the Traditional, which came with two eggs, breakfast potatoes, two chicken sausage patties, and multigrain toast. Note, you have the option to substitute the meat and the toast. I decided to add some mozzarella and spinach to my eggs because why not? The food came out in a timely manner and was hot! The eggs were scrambled perfectly and I liked that the spinach and cheese were mixed in, instead of sitting on top. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned just right and had the perfect amount of crisp, while not being overly done. The toast was thick but paired well with everything else on my plate. Alas came the chicken sausage patties and while I took a couple bites, I realized I could do without. Despite the chaos of the morning, my server, Paige, always made sure to check in on me and made sure my meal was to my liking. Once finished, I went up to the front to pay and was on my way. There are so many food options to choose from. None have disappointed. Many are unique and full of flavor. I do recommend this restaurant. One thing to be prepared for though is to feel rushed. The servers try to turn the tables over quickly as possible. We received our check with our meal. After about 3-5 minutes while we were eating, we were asked if we needed any boxes. Nothing better than a yummy, filling brunch before hopping on a flight. The fam suggested First Watch last Tuesday for our last meal together before I flew home. This location is nearest my parents apartment, so off we went around 10am. There wasn't a wait, but the place was bustling. The very first thing I noticed...the smiles and friendliness of literally every staff member. You don't find that very often, and it really makes a restaurant feel brighter. As for our meal selection, the healthy Turkey and an omelette for my parents, while I copied my daughters selection of the tri-fecta, subbing in potatoes for the eggs. The food came out hot and fast, and of course with a smile. All of the plates looked and tasted good, but for my daughter and I the star was the skillet potatoes...crispy with those dark yummy edges, and FULL of flavor. I can't speak for other locations, but this, my only experience at a First Watch, was great. No complaints. We came to First Watch 4th of July week and were the only ones there at 7:15am. It took awhile for someone to come and seat us but they were very friendly when they did. I ordered the lemon curd pancakes and my daughter ordered the kids French toast. I got a cinnamon iced latte as well that was very good. Fancy but not too sweet. Our order came out pretty quickly but the pancakes were really overdone. I was surprised since they weren't busy and I usually have pretty good food (although I've never been to this location). I didn't end up eating much of it it was just so dry. My daughter loved her breakfast and took the rest of it home. This is a restaurant I really like for both its ambiance and food. My daughter and I come here for breakfast almost every Sunday, but today's meal was truly unpalatable. They described them as big pancakes but they were tiny. The fruit on top was good but the biggest blackberry was rotten. The pancakes didn't even fill the plate. I came to St Louis for a work trip. I wanted to start my day off with some good breakfast as this place has good reviews. I get seated and the waiter comes around and I ask the waiter if they have lattes and the waiter rudely says "no we don't we're not Starbucks." That comment was uncalled for and really left a bad taste in my mouth for the actual meal. The food was okay but not worth that type of customer service. That should tell you something: it's damn good. Guess what, it's worth the wait. That line is there for a reason. Maybe I have a genius level IQ, but there's this great thing called a reservation. Everything on the menu looked good but I ended up getting a morning market veggie omelet, and I swapped out the greens for potatoes. It was delicious! The goat cheese and tomatoes paired perfectly together. My sister got the pesto chicken quinoa bowl, and that was also very enjoyable. The quinoa bowl was lighter than I expected. We went to First Watch for Sunday brunch and while it was good, it wasn't anything special. Started off with the hot chocolate and the taste did not live up to how delicious it was. The mountain of whip cream did not mask the watery texture of the drink itself. I opted for the Chickichanga as my entree with the Vera Cruz sauce on the side. Overall, it was meaty with the chicken and chorizo but lacking in flavor even though it was supposed to have green chilies. I thought the Vera Cruz sauce was very bland so I found myself adding hot sauce to the dish. My wife got the barbacoa breakfast tacos and they were a bit creamy for our taste with the combination of avocado and chive cream with not enough meat. I'd probably come back but will opt for some of their other options next time. read more

I know this is a chain restaurant, but everything feels local when you are here. The coffee is hitting the bottom of your cup before you get yourself fully settled into your chair, smiles everywhere, the food comes out relatively quickly, and everything on the menu I've ever had is hot and fresh and delicious (the skillets are a highlight). I do recommend you check the line and check in ahead of time because sometimes it can be busy, especially on Sundays.
