Tried the new egg whites meal option and it was delicious. Mary offered great service as always!

I had an appointment this morning, so while we were out, we decided to try somewhere new for breakfast. The roads were snow packed and icy here and there, so there weren't a lot of people out. When we arrived, we were seated right away. The hostess took our coffee orders and left us to check out the menu. A number of items sounded great, but we managed to each choose something. Our food was brought out pretty quickly and it was nice and hot! We both liked our breakfast, and we have enough for tomorrow. The portions are very generous! The service was great and the staff we spoke with were all super nice. The space is fine, but nothing special. It's clean and bright. It's like a nice diner. We'd go back!

After prancing around in the sunflowers with bees and butterflies in Weldon Spring, my friend and I decided to have brunch at Sunny Street. She affectionately called it "Sunny Side" which would seem more appropriate since they sell breakfast food, but I digress! All these years I've been up and down Manchester, I'd never seen this restaurant. It is off a small side street that if you sneeze you will pass it kind of vibes. There is ample parking on the lot. Despite it being Sunday after church, we were seated right away. Our waitress Tracy was very attentive and asked if we wanted to order mimosas. I was kind of hot and had somewhere to go after brunch and my friend doesn't drink so we both declined. She ordered their fried pickles (which were the spears battered and fried, not the coins/chips) and a burger with fries. I ordered a big breakfast with fruit for the side; eggs scrambled with cheese and bacon. Although I didn't order hashbrowns, I guess the cook still made them for me. They were buttery and semi crispy and under my toast, so I mixed it with my eggs and took bites of the crispy bacon between bites of the eggs/hashbrown mix. I felt guilty eating it as I didn't order it but that's not my fault. The melons in the fruit were slightly on their way out the door but I still ate it because, free booze, right? JK! I will say, those scrambled eggs with cheese were the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Oftentimes it's overcooked at other restaurants. I could have skipped the bread, but I think besides bread, biscuit and maybe a pancake was a choice? All in all, I'd definitely come back!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast by myself. I was seated right away. My server was very attentive and very friendly. It has a small home town feel to the restaurant. Cute bright and airy decor. I got the sweet cream cold brew. It was good, I had to add a little sugar to it because I like my coffee sweet. I also ordered the loaded hash browns. It was pretty good. The menu said golden crispy hashbrowns, so I didn't say that I like my hashbrowns crispy. Next time I know to speak up because they were a little under done. My toast was also a little burnt. It's a cute brunch spot with ok food.

I spent the morning with my littles and they checked Yelp and found Sunny Street. The food was great, but the service was amazing! Every person on staff spoke as they walked past, and made sure we had everything we needed. My girls all ordered the Oreo pancake meal, which they were all thoroughly impressed that it was shaped like a dinosaur. After we cleaned our plates, we chit chatted with a few of the regulars, and received a recommendation on some good books to enjoy with my girls. Service always sells, and we will definitely be back

The food was OK but not the best. The service was pretty good. I was there with a large group in the back room and our waiter did a really good job. I think being in that back room also cut down on some of the normal restaurant noise. Just LOVE breakfast!

I love breakfast food and wanted to try a new place. The reviews here are mixed, and I wanted to see for myself. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty of spots. I came a bit early on a Sunday and beat the rush. Since I came a bit early, I was seated right away. They have a few areas for seating, but I can see this place filling quickly. My server, Meilani, was wonderful. She was attentive and shared her favorites and fan favorites, too. I ordered the hearty breakfast that comes with eggs, side, meat, and pancakes, which you can upgrade for a charge. I didn't customize anything because I wanted to see how it came out. The bacon was good but a little too soft. The hashbrowns were a little crisp but not as much as I'd like. Eggs were cooked great. The strawberry shortcake pancakes were ok, but I wouldn't order again. The Palm Fizz mimosa was really good. Bottom line, I would return because they have other menu items that I would like to try. Their cinnamon roll pancakes for sure. Next time, I'll say bacon and hashbrowns crispy. The price for the food and drinks is reasonable too, which is great. I hope to increase my review rating on their food for next time.

Everything about this place is amazing! The staff is so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance screams "GOOD MORNING" and I loved it! They had a great boozy drink menu. I'll be trying this the next time I come in for sure! I ordered the loaded hash browns and they were absolutely delicious! You won't be going home hungry at this place. Great breakfast spot!

I could get vegan eggs and vegan bacon, and my friends could get their chicken eggs and turkey bacon. My favorites here were the vegan milkshakes, pancakes, vegan bacon, brussels sprouts, and the shrimp po'boy. Unfortunately, I'm speaking of them in past tense because as of tonight, 09May, they have permanently closed. My family and I were some of the very last customers. They were out of all my favorites, so it was extra sad for me. I ended up trying the tacos for the first time. They were cool. But I'm surely going miss my favorites! The owners also own Frida's and Diego's, off Delmar and North & South. I personally don't care for the food at either one, but rumor has it, they might bring some of the Station No 3 favs over to one of these restaurants (which are right next door to each other).

It turns out we've been driving past a Kirkwood treasure all this time. This is "upscale-casual" at its finest--professional and refined, but with a neighborhood heart. Service & Logistics The service here is exceptionally polished. From the friendly hosts to our knowledgeable server, everything ran like clockwork. We even had a visit from a gentleman I presume was the owner (likely Bob, who has been at the helm for decades). He didn't just "check-in"--he saw we needed a few items and personally took care of it. Pro Tips: * Reservations: Don't look for them on OpenTable. They use their own dedicated form on their website, which is simple and efficient. * Wednesday Wine: If you can, visit on a Wednesday. They offer half-priced wine bottles with your meal--a fantastic value for their extensive collection. Cocktails & Drinks The bar program here is excellent, and the bartender was friendly and engaging. * White Negroni (4.5/5): Though they may not have had Suze (the drink wasn't perfectly clear), the bartender absolutely nailed the flavor profile and balance. * Barrel-Finished Manhattan (4.5/5): Their use of an in-house barrel finish makes this classically executed cocktail a real standout--highly recommended for whiskey lovers. * Wine: They have an awesome selection. Definitely ask your server for recommendations! The Food: American Fare with a Global Twist * House Salad (4.5/5): You have to try their house dressing--it's a creamy garlic style that reminds me of the classic Mayfair Hotel dressing. It's incredibly tasty and a true St. Louis staple. * Blackened Grouper (4.5/5): As someone who loves Florida grouper, this hit the mark. Lightly blackened with a fresh mango salsa; vibrant and perfectly executed. * Rainbow Trout (4.25/5): The orange tarragon cream sauce is the star. It was perfectly balanced--enough to enhance the fish and rice without being "soupy." * Pilot House Chicken (4.5/5): A delicious, well-seasoned chicken breast. Savory, juicy, and very well-prepared. * Extras (5/5): They start you with lavash crackers and butter, and the hot, fresh rolls are dangerous. They even finish the night with powdered sugar cookies--a classic Sunset 44 touch. Dessert * S'more Cheesecake & Chocolate Martini (4.5/5): We opted for this beautifully executed, unique dessert. It was yummy on its own, but ordering a Chocolate Martini to accompany it was the perfect move. The Vibe: It definitely skews toward a more mature, quiet crowd. It's the perfect place if you actually want to hear the people you're dining with.
