This place is very overpriced. If you are ordering sodas, coffees, and sides your bill will double. My girlfriend ordered the farmhouse skillet with over easy eggs and the whites of the eggs were completely undercooked. First Watch is a nice, inviting place to have breakfast. The server I got was attentive and told me about their juices. I also liked how clean and modern the restrooms were. The only problem with the breakfast was the price, but that is to be expected. Otherwise, the coffee was well-flavored, the juice my server recommended was good, and the breakfast wasn't too bad. I can only go occasionally, but it's a nice change of pace from the other diners I enjoy. read more

I absolutely LOVE First Watch and was so excited to find one near where I was I Dallas. Took some 'virgin' girlfriends that had never been here and they're hooked. So glad one opened up back home. This is a follow up to a previous review. We arrived as the newish app suggested, precisely on time. We checked in and sat down to wait. My cell phone went off and the greeter indicated they had canceled our position in line because we did not show up on time. After resolving that issue we sat down. We ordered a Bloody Mary which was served with the tomato mixer on the side. Despite shaking vigorously it was clearly old and thick. I ordered the BLT Eggs Benedict which was served with rock-hard eggs and just one strip of undercooked bacon. . My wife's vegetable omelet was well done an dry, served with scant vegetables. Coffee and service were both good. All served for $40.00 One would hope a breakfast place would know to cook and serve bacon and eggs. Totally lacking in quality control. The local Waffle House is a much better choice at about 1/2 price. read more

Food is great - love the freshness and the staff past and present have always been lovely... I was to give a particular shout out to Galina (our hot Russian blond server ) - she is always so kind and chatty and makes her job look effortless... even when she's super busy. I went to First Watch for brunch Saturday and received the worst service of my life. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

The service here is subpar at best. I've been to a few first watch locations but this location does not tend to the customer needs in a swift fashion. It's very imperative to have good customer service and when I went to speak on the service the manager sent out the host to tell me he couldn't speak because he was on the line. That's not good for the service industry. My food was made wrong and missed a few items. Didn't even try to comp or make it right. read more

This is usually one of my favorite places with the exception of today. The guy at the door was super friendly and took me to my seat. It's not very busy and I was ignored. I waited 10 minutes and didn't get service. I had an appointment nearby and didn't want to take a chance on any of the following service taking so long so I left. Disappointed and hungry. read more

Came here for brunch with friends and didn't leave disappointed! The food was great! They both ordered the farmhouse skillet and I got the avocado toast that came with two eggs. I also ordered a side of bacon! I also got the kale tonic drink was was really good and naturally sweet! It's a farm to table restaurant which I love!! It's causal and not too loud. I deducted a star because my friend found a hair in her bread :/ but that happens sometimes. The bread was nice and crispy and the jam was amazing so it was unfortunate that she found a hair in hers. I have been to several First Watch locations in DFW and other parts of the country. I was excited to see this new location while I was down in Dallas for work. I walked in, the restaurant was really attractive, and she his staff was pleasant. I had the banana crunch pancakes, eggs, bacon and the superfood bowl. Food was awesome! Went to First Watch today for some lunch with my family. The waitress greeted us immediately with a pot of coffee. She was also very friendly and attentive. I had the elevated egg sandwich, which was egg and bacon on a brioche bun. It also had some other goodies, such as avocado, mayo, arugula, and cheese. The food came out very quickly and everything was delicious. My family also enjoyed their meal and we all shared an order of the millionares bacon, which was a candied bacon with some spices sprinkled on top. I always come to this location but this time was exceptionally different the service was off and and the food was half assed to say the least the poached eggs were so over done I needed my knife to break the yolk it almost resembled a hard boiled egg. My Benedict took about 10 minutes after everyone else's food to come out and my server marquetta was on her phone in the kitchen she was of no help. First watch needs to step it up I really saw this restaurant as a top brunch destination but today it let me down . read more

They have a lot of healthy choices and two kinds of juices, which is a plus. I got the A.M superfoods bowl. It was very filling and the chia seed pudding was delightful. The entire family loves First Watch. My wife always gets a juice to start out our meal and we try to sample as much as we can from the menu for our meals. On our last visit, I had a slight issue with my dish in that it was cold inside my Chickichanga (HIGHLY recommended dish). I asked if there was any way to just heat it up a little more (you could see the shredded cheese wasn't even melted). My server immediately made a new dish and had his manager comp the plate without asking. That kind of attention and customer service alone will keep us coming back after Sunday music classes with our son. read more

Been here three Sundays in a row. The experience has become worse with every visit. We eat breakfast every Sunday and our annual contribution to revenue for this meal is is at least $1,500 for a party of two. The good first, it's clean and the menu at least in paper is good. Service is slow to non-existent and it would be nice if they had more than one hostess and at least brought you beverages as on the last two occasions the wait for the first visit from the server was excessive. Food quality is poor. Someone need to teach them how to properly scramble an egg before it goes in the pan not as an afterthought. Also eggs overdone and browned. Hot food hot please, it's evident the food sits there. The waffles are tough and chewy. There are much better out there at big chains. Management does not manage the experience. Yes I am picky after years in the industry but Dallas is also very unforgiving to bad or even average restaurants. That's why so many fail. We'll be back to our old regular spot next week and when I want a waffle I'll make it at home or go to the big chain. read more

This is the best First Watch in the Dallas area. Their customer service is simply unmatched. I ordered a protein bowl (which was amazing btw) over the phone an then drove 15 min to go pick it up. When I arrived I had realized I forgot my wallet, Ryan the restaurant manager gave me my meal free of charge! He is the best manager and first Watch is an excellent restaurant with amazing food, I promise it will not disappoint!! read more

First time there today for lunch. I ordered the kale salad and my friend ordered a hot sandwich with soup. When the waitress brought our food, my salad had all the ingredients included that I had ordered without. It was taken back to the kitchen to be remade. 35 minutes later and after my friend had finished her meal, my salad came back out. During this time, we asked twice for tea refills with no luck. I finally got a manager and told her our problems. She was very nice and didn't charge us for any of the food, which tasted just fair. Definitely will not go back for lunch. Breakfast dishes looked ok, but would only go there to try breakfast if there was absolutely no there restaurant to go to. Very disappointing. read more

I work in the same shopping center with first watch and my co workers and I were so excited for something new to come in as far as food! Unfortunately we were quickly disappointed. The food really isn't anything to call home about but the biggest things that have affected us is that EVERYTIME we order everytime (and we have given them several chances) they get our order wrong! And secondly the girl at the front taking to go orders has the personality of a wall. So even though it's convenient I don't think we will be giving them anymore chances. Also will not be referring any of our clients there to get bad service. Very disappointing but so many much better restaurants and lunch options in the neighborhood read more
