    Patio seating

Table to 2 for breakfast We pulled into the shared parking lot and found a spot right in front. We entered and were greeted warmly. I said we wanted a table for two. I saw a lady waiting outside so I thought there might be a wait but we immediately led to a nice table near the open kitchen. I then looked up and saw they had outside seating. Our server, Julius, came by and we asked if we could move outside and he said no problem. He scooped up our menus and led us outside to the covered patio. Wifey ordered a coffee and initially I also ordered a coffee but then I asked if they had any specialty coffees. He informed me they did not have any hot options but showed me the iced choices on the menu. I quickly reviewed and ordered the Mint Mocha covered in Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips. The drinks came out quickly and that mocha was more than I expected but it was very good. Julius ran off after dropping off our drinks and when he returned we were ready with our food choices. I ordered the French Toast, minus the mixed berry compote that is included, and added a side of bacon. Wifey ordered "The Traditional"; 2 eggs, choice of meat, toast and seasoned potatoes. She chose the chicken apple sausage pattie which you don't usually see as a side option. I was sipping and sipping on my coffee and it was gone before the food arrived. The patio has a good open layout with overhead fans to keep the air moving. The food arrived quickly and we started digging in. My French Toast and bacon looked fresh and tasted delicious. The French toast was light and grilled to the right texture. Wifey loved her meal and said the chicken apple sausage was a good choice. Julius was working inside and outside the tables, but he did check on us a few times. He disappeared for a few minutes when we were ready to wrap up the bill but I didn't have to track him down. Overall a very good 1st visit to First Watch in Decatur. We will definitely have to return.

I have tried several of their locations and gotten great service. I see that's how they roll. Nice hostess who sat me + my guest. A friendly, very pleasant server named Chidera took our order. It came out within 10 minutes. Coffee was delish. I ordered the smoked salmon and roasted vegetable frittata and greens which was superb, tasty!!! My guest ordered an egg & tomato omelette w/greens and loved it. Of course we did, nothing was left. Our server came back twice to make sure we were good. She has one of the nicest smiles. Ask for Chidera!!! Great job guys!!! Me, my guest ordered+ our bellies thank u.

Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl, Carrot Cake & Pecan Waffle, Morning Meditation drink

I needed a little treat after a hectic morning--and an even busier weekend. It was mid-morning on a Tuesday, and I figured, why not take myself out on a breakfast date? I'm not usually a breakfast person, but after two failed attempts at trying First Watch, this felt like the perfect time to finally give it a go. I got there at just the right moment--not too crowded, but clearly not in a rush to clean the tables either. I had my eye on a cozy corner spot, but the first table was dirty... and so was the second. So, I waited a bit. No big deal. My server took a little while to make it over, but honestly, that worked out--I was overwhelmed by the menu, especially the drink options! After some serious deliberation, I landed on the Morning Meditation drink, the Chicken Pesto Quinoa Power Bowl, and just one Carrot Cake & Pecan pancake (which turned out to be massive). I left so full, but so satisfied. Everything I ordered hit the spot. The bowl was flavorful, the pancake was indulgent, and the drink was light and refreshing. No complaints here. I don't know if this will become a regular spot--there were a lot of egg-heavy dishes, and I'm not big on eggs--but there's a decent variety, and I'm glad I finally got to try it.

The food was amazing! The service was really good. It's a cute spot, lots of seating available and in a great location. I really enjoyed it.

This was a great experience and I would highly recommend that you try out this chain if you have the opportunity. The menu is diverse and interesting, with a variety of options for different tastes. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and must say the eggs were perfectly cooked. The whites were just barely solid while the yolk was warm and yummy! I am already looking forward to another visit.

First Watch has amazing breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and workers are super nice and attentive. I always get the Tri-fecta with pancakes 10/10. And don't forget those crispy breakfast potatoes!!

    The French toast is big.

I love breakfast food and this is one of my favorite spots for it. They always have good seasonal options on the menu that my husband usually orders and enjoys. But I almost always get the French toast because it's big, thick and delicious. They also have really good avocado toast. We always receive great service too. If you're going on a weekend, check in ahead online because the wait can be long. The bathrooms are always clean too.

Shrimp & Grits with a Bloody Mary

In town for my daughter's surgery and we stopped by this fine establishment. We were greeted immediately and sat. I had the Shrimp and Grits and my wife had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and turkey sausage. The food as well as the ambiance was top tier. 10/10

Stopped by this First Watch while on vacation, and it was a good experience! I've been to other locations in Miami and Orlando, but food-wise, I think this one might be the best yet. There was plenty of parking, the ambiance was nicely decorated and inviting, and it felt spacious and clean. The staff was fine--not overly friendly, but courteous. Most importantly, the food was good and came out quickly. Here's what we tried: * Steak & Eggs Hash - Very good * Cheese Grits & Ham - The grits were great, though the ham was just okay * Scrambled Eggs, Cheese, & Bacon - Very good * Over Easy Eggs, Breakfast Potatoes, & Rye Toast - Okay * Sweet Iced Tea - Very good * Purple Haze - Very good * Hot Chocolate - Just okay One small hiccup: our waitress didn't let us know we needed to pay up front, so we waited around for a bit. But other than that, she was nice and accommodating. Overall, I'd come back to this location--it was a solid experience with a welcoming vibe!

I ordered online for pick up and my order was ready when I arrived. I did have a slight issue with the website, it wouldn't let me choose my side. It was stuck on field greens but I wanted potatoes. I added a note in the order that said potatoes please and they fulfilled my order as requested. I love this omelette! It has everything in it: bell peppers, onions, sausage, bacon, cheese, mushrooms and of course eggs. It is seasoned perfectly and the potatoes are so delicious, they are seasoned perfectly and have sautéed onions in them. The perfect breakfast!

Arrived for mid day brunch party of 1. The place was pretty busy but since I was alone I sat at the "community table" which is a tabletop of probably 8 that operates more or less like bar seating but it was actually pretty cool. The waiter was very attentive to be so busy. I was impressed with the food taste as it's been a while since I was last at FW and remember not being impressed. But everything I had was tasted. I had the traditional breakfast. Eggs with cheese, chicken sausage, potatoes and toast. The toast was the best part! Ohhh and this iced coffee with crunch on top was soooo good. I was slurping and picking the crunch out. I'd get that for takeout just because.

Both the sandwich and the cinnamon roll were nothing short of amazing. The brioche bun elevated the sandwich to the next level. The size of the chicken made the sandwich substantial enough that sides weren't necessary. The combination of cheese and effy sauce was perfect; I'm not sure what's in the sauce, but it's delicious.
