I wish the service was better because when they get it right, and it's rare, the food is really good. But...I've been here four times now and they got 'something' on our orders wrong every single time!! Last time we were in a group of 3 and they each order wrong. I don't know if it's the servers or the kitchen staff but, geez, they can't get it together so I won't be going back. I normally go to the boca location, but instead I decided to try the Delray Beach one. There is a lot of parking because it is in a shopping center. My friend had her dog and they were able to sit us on the side patio. Our server was sweet and very knowledgeable. I did not know you can get vodka mixed in with your juice! They don't have it on the menu, but my friend order it and it came out delicious. I got the morning meditation it's always good if you like beets! The restaurant was clean and spacious. However the food was sub par at best. The pancake and waffle were Luke warm. The bacon was burnt. My turkey and feta omelette was missing the feta. The menu is basically the same it has been for years, so no surprises there. What was different was her welcoming and attentive service! I came here twice for their outdoor seating. It's usually very busy and you may have to sit in the sun as not all the tables are covered. Their coffee is great and I'm happy to see they have a cold brew option. My favorites here are their multigrain toast with preserves. It's thick cut and very filling. Their potatoes are perfectly seasoned and crispy. I finally tried their smoked salmon, which was very good and went well with the sun dried tomatoes. This is my go to breakfast place. The food is always delicious. The wait is always worth it and the waitresses are so friendly and efficient. I recommend the power bowls and the kale tonic. I have eaten at a few other First Watch locations and I find them to be a mixed bag in general. There are locations that are consistently good & locations that are more meh. This one I found to be on the meh side. I will eat here again but it's more of because of location & what they serve. I ordered the avocado toast with 2 eggs and the eggs weren't bad. They were cooked how I ordered and exactly as expected. The avocado toast however was more meh. The toast was oddly hard & cold and didn't seem like it was freshly made. I understand that putting cold avocado on toast makes the toast cold but this wasn't just from the avocado. The avocado also wasn't completely ripe and had spots that were hard. So although this was just meh, I will almost definitely eat here again. First Watch has a good menu and there are plenty of other options to order read more

I come here about once a week to meet with clients. The atmosphere is safe, everyone wears a mask and I can sit outside. Today we had a server who was over the moon amazing! Her name is Jesse. Ask for her. She has a great personality, amazing attention to detail, and offers a level of hospitality that you would expect to find at a 5-star restaurant. I came to visit a friend for the weekend, my first time to Florida, and I was craving a Sunday brunch before the beach. My friend brought us to First watch as I'm vegetarian and she's vegan so we both would have options. Of course on a Sunday around 10 we expect it to be busy. We're waiting to be seated and were offered a community table, you sit at a table for 10 and other parties are relatively close to you. We didn't mind so we said yes, seemed like a HUGE MISTAKE. Community table basically meant NEGLECTED table. We had 3 different servers/food runners. When we took our order I asked for a mimosa and my friend asked for water. They came back and said they RAN OUT OF CHAMPAGNE, on Sunday for Brunch?!? Not a huge issue so then I said I'd just get a water, well thank goodness I accidentally brought my hydroflask, we never got water after our entire meal, 3 servers, no water. I ordered the Trifecta and subbed the meat for potatoes, the food was good. I would say really good but it took FOREVER for us to get our food so I wouldn't know if it was exceptional or I was just really hungry. Other parties that arrived after us but were seated at non-community tables got their food before us. To top it off my friend, who's vegan, asked for a skillet and subbed meat and cheese for avocado, after waiting forever for food, she had to wait even longer for a second dish because the first came out with cheese. She said the other locations she's been too are far better, so if I gave first watch another chance while in Florida it won't be in Delray. read more
