I came to visit a friend for the weekend, my first time to Florida, and I was craving a Sunday brunch before the beach. My friend brought us to First watch as I'm vegetarian and she's vegan so we both would have options. Of course on a Sunday around 10 we expect it to be busy. We're waiting to be seated and were offered a community table, you sit at a table for 10 and other parties are relatively close to you. We didn't mind so we said yes, seemed like a HUGE MISTAKE. Community table basically meant NEGLECTED table. We had 3 different servers/food runners. When we took our order I asked for a mimosa and my friend asked for water. They came back and said they RAN OUT OF CHAMPAGNE, on Sunday for Brunch?!? Not a huge issue so then I said I'd just get a water, well thank goodness I accidentally brought my hydroflask, we never got water after our entire meal, 3 servers, no water. I ordered the Trifecta and subbed the meat for potatoes, the food was good. I would say really good but it took FOREVER for us to get our food so I wouldn't know if it was exceptional or I was just really hungry. Other parties that arrived after us but were seated at non-community tables got their food before us. To top it off my friend, who's vegan, asked for a skillet and subbed meat and cheese for avocado, after waiting forever for food, she had to wait even longer for a second dish because the first came out with cheese. She said the other locations she's been too are far better, so if I gave first watch another chance while in Florida it won't be in Delray. read more

If you don't mind getting food poisoning then go ahead and eat from here but everything is miss handled in the kitchen they leave eggs out and everything is not clean. On top of that they get such an attitude as soon as you walk in like your intruding their space they say where do you want to sit even the hostess was very nasty I will I will not be coming here again they are dirty and not clean go check it out yourself in the kitchen. The food was decent but the service was horrible. If you can avoid Natalie as your server, that is highly recommended. I will never go here again. Lipstick on the coffee mugs and she insisted they were clean. After some convincing and having to prove the mugs were dirty, she took three mugs off the table to replace them and came back with one. It was a table of 4 adults.....We had to ask another server to bring us extra mugs which he obliged since it was difficult to get her attention to actually help us. When Natalie finally returned with our food and mimosas that were ordered, she sort of slammed the mimosa glass down and slid them across the table, causing some of it to spill over. It seemed like she was not very interested in helping us. Meanwhile we saw her across the restaurant at other tables being very cordial to other guests, even smiling. With us she was very matter of fact and short. Didn't seem like she wanted to be there which is disappointing. She put the bill on the table within minutes of us getting our main order. We barely started eating. To me, this gives the inclination that you are trying to hurry me out the door. She never returned to our table again after that. Came with two friends. Sever was incredibly short mannered and overall just seemed as if it was an inconvenience to her to be serving us. We all got different things and within 20 minutes we're all in extreme stomach pain and had to rush home. When checking out she noticed that I typed in my tip (still 18%) instead of selecting the 20% or higher option, she visibly was quite upset by this. Maybe next time be kind and offer a box when I have an entire pancake left instead of just dropping the check in some water on the table and running. Then you might get closer to 20%. Not to mention the potatoes in my friends meals were burnt to a crisp. Genuinely black. Very disappointed in this experience. read more

My dining experience with first watch this morning was very good mostly because Kim reminded the kitchen to put the preserves on my superfood bowl. First time here today and Jesse was the absolute best! She was super attentive, friendly and delivered the best service everrrrr to me & my 3 young kids. The kids kept commenting on how nice she was and even kept calling her "the nice lady" because they forgot her name. My husband and I stopped by here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We put our name in using the app and by the time we got there our table was ready! They were busy but the tables are distanced and staff has masks on. Our server Nikki was great, very nice and attentive. Couldn't wait for this to open. I have been to one in Orlando. Very friendly greeted at the door. Our waitress Maayan was very friendly and attentive. Prompt service. I am sad to have to write this but this needs to be mentioned. First off I like the food at First Watch so this review is not about food but about the lack of consideration and respect for my health the manager on duty at the First Watch in DelRay Beach, FL on Linton had for my GF and I. Im a male in my 50's. When we entered the rest there wasn't an empty seat inside. Everyone was on top of one another so I asked to be seated outside. We sat outside and it took 45 min almost to get our food which they didn't charge us for. However the manager after I asked three times not to sit anyone next to me unless 6 ' apart showed no regard for social distancing rules. The male manager on duty said your getting a free meal and put a table of 4 right next to us no more than 2' away. He was packing them in even the outside section of the rest to the Max with no respect for my health. Yes I could have walked out and I finally did letting him know I was going to write this review. Shame on you for disrespecting the health and well being over profits. You should be fired and First Watch should be fined. read more

During this time where it is hard to even think about going to public places everyone at first watch made us feel welcome and the place was spotless which made us feel at ease. Service was first class opening the door as my family came in. Family friendly with crayons for the kids and cups with lids. Great menu with plenty of variety from sandwiches to skillets. Warning! Their pancakes can feed an army! Lol. One pancake was enough for my 4 and 11 year olds. I had the Farmhouse hash and it was amazing. No complaints all praise on this place. read more

I love First Watch but this location needs to work on their organization. Staff all look like they are running around crazy and place is 1/2 full. The wait is crazy and nobody even acknowledged me for about 5 minutes. The food took a long time to come out. 1 of the orders came out wrong so had to have that re made and when it did, the 1/2 salad was literally 1/2 of what it was originally. They need to train staff better and pay attention to detail. read more
