This is the 2nd time we've eaten at the location that used to be "The Egg and I." I ordered lemon blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. My spouse had eggs and bacon. We waited a very long time for our food, and it was cold. The bacon was undercooked, so I asked my server to ask the cook to crisp it JUST A LITTLE. When it came at the end of our meal, it was burned. The worst part was seeing our server wipe her nose several times on the top her hand. We were ready to get out of there so didn't ask for the manager. We'll go back to the one in Turkey Creek if we want to eat at First Watch. Update: We received a coupon for a free breakfast shortly thereafter and did decide to give them another try. This visit went much better and we appreciate the coupon. read more

This is a new location where the atrocious and deeply disliked Egg and I had been. It is tucked in the corner lot between Costco and Costco Gas. We love breakfast and brunch and so we were glad to see it changed to a restaurant we've tried at the Turkey Creek location several times. Our chief complaint at the other location was not an issue on Lovell Road...which is a ridiculously long time for the food to come. My order came wrong once and I'd waited so long I had forgotten what I ordered...but that's another review for another time. The server we had at this location was excellent and knew the menu well. The food came out promptly, at the correct temperatures and was tasty. The half sandwich and soup is absolutely enough for a complete meal. The tomato basil was tasty, but I would have liked a little more 'something' in it...garlic maybe...to take it up a notch. It was good, not great. No complaint, more of a tip for future improvement. Parking might be an issue with a Saturday morning crowd, but in early afternoon we had our pick of spaces. Was a very disappointing experience. The service was fine and the presentation was nice. But everything else was terrible. Starting with the Bloody Mary that Tasted like cold tomato soup and consistency to match. We had the chickichanga which tasted like something from Taco Bell and the salmon eggs Benedict. Which was on stale bread with a sauce that appeared to be hollandaise. The salmon was fine but had two tiny pieces on either side so none on middle portion. First Watch is THE best restaurant in Farragut for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. Cage free eggs, excellent pancakes (the blueberry with fruit compote are my personal favorite) and great avacado toast. The staff is quite adept at their job(s). Always friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The "Traditional" is an excellent choice for breakfast. If you Southerners are not fans of the potatoes, ask for grits. They are happy to oblige. My only negative comment is the music is a bit too loud. A server will turn the volume down upon request. Other than that, it is my favorite place to eat. The server named Faith is the best. She is always smiling and friendly. Ask for her and see. read more

Wonderful service and food. It was worth the wait. I got the breakfast power bowl, my son got the Floridian French toast and his gf got the Tri-fecta. All of it was very tasty and filling. Total bill for all of us was around $45. read more

This is the first watch across from Costco in Farragut. This was my best eating experience at any of the first watch restaurants I've eaten at in the Knoxville area. I had the ham and gruyere cheese sandwich on a toasted whole grain type of bread. The whole grain bread was toasted perfectly, grainy and quite flavorful. There was a nice portion of tasty ham and cheese that was melted nicely in the sandwich. Sliced tomato on the sandwich was fine but probably would have liked more of it. They were out of the squash soup so I ordered the vegetable soup. The small portion of vegetables were overcooked and the soup broth was salty. I asked if I could change to the tomato bisque soup which they were willing to oblige. The tomato bisque soup was much better but I couldn't help but think that it reminded me of sort of a slightly diluted jarred spaghetti sauce but it really wasn't bad. But again this sandwich in my opinion was better than any sandwich you would find at Panera, Jason's or McAlister ... My wife ordered one of those egg white omelets with turkey, feta cheese and spinach. She said it was light on the ingredients but this is a low cal entre so it's difficult to criticize her meal for not looking and tasting generous and fattening. I've been to first watch for breakfast at least 8 times and all 8 times I've got the elevated egg sandwich. It's just soo good. The size is just right so you don't feel overstuffed. The avocado inside is fresh, the egg is over easy, cheese melted perfectly. It's just so satisfying. It's fills you up without having you feel like "I shouldn't have ate that much"..... the million dollar bacon is so delicious. Drizzled with candy syrup, the taste is sooo savory!!! We went back today for the first time since I wrote the last review. I must say that our experience today could not have been more positive! I purposely did not tell our waiter that we were giving the restaurant a second chance. This time the service was impeccable! Our server, Justin, may be the best waiter we've ever had anywhere! Stopped in for a Friday breakfast on my day off. Staff helped out out and were very polite. Good items on the menu and server helped me decide between the Bacado omelette (bacon and avocado) and the all meats omelette. Chose the bacado and potatoes. My wife ordered the yogurt and granola bowl. Both looked good and came out in a decent time. Enjoyed our time and wasn't rushed at all. We arrive on a Sunday morning with a waiting list for about 20 mins, after this time we ask them if we can seat on their patio to bring our dog, they told us yes and we get in. After additional 15 mins the same person who receive us noticed that nobody has come to attend the table, after 3-4 mins a lady came to take our order on which ask for coffee. The table next to us arrive at this moment and they get coffee and chocolate almost immediately, by the time I saw this we wait additional 10 minutes and still not get anything (food or coffee). At this moment we decide to leave. The hostess try to persuade us to stay but we have previous arrangements that may rush us even more, it is very unfortunate that this had happened because I know they are trying to offer great service but lack of commitment make us to avoid this restaurant I the future UPDATE: On my wife's request we visit again this restaurant, I was a little nervous that the same thing happen to us, so we decide to make an earlier visit (around 8:30am) to avoid their rush hour (starting arpund 10am on weekends). Let me tell you that the service improves dramatically since our previous visit and our waitress (Amber) was really helpful with the menu and checking on us everytime she had a chance. Food is OK with flavor and in good amount, this time everything works perfect (maybe my previous visit was only bad service due their weekend rush hour). I'm moving my review from 2 stars to 4 thanks to Amber and the kitchen staff, i may visit again but I will try to avoid the rush hour. read more

The food here was excellent. I loved the cold brew iced coffee, and enjoyed the carrot cake pancakes. They also have sugar free syrup, which I like to use. My only complaint was that I didn't think the server was the friendliest and she also overcharged me for food that I didn't order. The girl upfront was very nice and fixed it for me. The food is really good. Today the service was very much lacking. We were seated quickly but then we waited a long time for partial orders. The waitress did not check our table at all during the meal (no refills on water or coffee). Another employee dropped the check at the table. I saw the waitress on the way out. Her only concern was whether or not I had the right check. I expected someone to ask how the food or service was when paying the tab but that did not happen either. Terrible. The staff there have blindfolds on. The place ia totally disorganized. We sat for 15 min before getting greeted. Several servers walked by with out even acknowledging us only to find out that one was our server. The front hostess was rude and curt. I had high expectations but as I entered the dining area I noticed very unenthusiastic expressions on many customers. That for shadowed my own experience. To be blunt, this was the absolute worst eggs Benedict I have ever had ( notice I did not say "eaten" as I could not finish). In a state where speciality hams are available, the ham on my my plate was tasteless. It cod have been tenderized cardboard which actually might have had some flavor. The biscuits under it all were stale tasting without flavor. But the most incredible part was the hollandaise se Wah was watery and tasted like some chemical concoction. I could never go back and I guess this could have been an isolated experience but will so many ingredients lacking, I'd have to guess that there isn't a chef in the place. read more
