Service was good- Jafal was friendly and attentive. Food was cold. The Salted caramel holey donuts and later my eggs Benedict were served room temperature at best. Restaurant is great for groups. Large and clean. The outdoor space was nice with a nearby water feature and corn holes.

First Watch is a great Mexican/American breakfast hybrid restaurant that I'll recommend to anyone on their way to work (or just looking for something on the weekend). I had the Tacos al Pastor and the Avocado Toast, and I'll routinely come back for the Tacos al Pastor. I love the homemade masa tortillas and potato hash topped with sliced avocados, shredded Cotija cheese, and pickled onions. They also have a juice bar, and while the Morning Meditation left me disappointed (all I tasted was orange juice, nothing else), the mix of lemon and lavender in their Purple Haze is enough for me to keep ordering more. I'm only keeping this review a 4/5, because upon my first visit, it was really cold inside the restaurant. I wanted to warm up with some hot coffee, but the coffee was served after I received my meal (in hindsight, I probably could ask for it to be served first). So I had to endure a while before I could warm up. In future visits, I'd rather just use the outdoor seating they have or just order takeout. Speaking of takeout, I'd prefer if I had the option to place my order over the phone instead of just using the website every time. It takes less time to order over the phone since it takes a while for me to enter in my credit card information at that time. But when I called their number on Yelp, the automated message system just told me to use their website. I'd rather swipe my card when I go to pick up my food so there's no need to enter in anything.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The staff was absolutely amazing. All of them were very attentive. I tried to keep in mind that this was a cafe/diner. It wasn't really loud and there were a lot of families that were eating here which, to me is great. While I looked around I realized that a ton of people were eating waffles and did not order a waffle. Darn.... I ordered the chickichanga. While the meat had great flavor, it was a chicken/chorizo blend, it was lukewarm at best. The potatoes were very very good. Seasoned wonderfully and piping hot, which just drew more attention to the fact that the rest of my food was not. Maybe I should have ordered the waffle.

The morning meditation, trifecta with waffle, chorizo omelet and banana pancake were realllly good. Overall I wish there was a little bit more bigger portions for the price but alll the food was great. The jams that came with the waffle and pancake were amazing.

I took my niece and nephew there and they loved it! I knew they would cause that's what this business do!! very kid palatable. I would always rate 5 stars.

This morning I had the opportunity to join my team members for breakfast at this location. It was my first time visiting a "First Watch" Overall, I give the restaurant a 4 out of 5 rating. I'm comparing it to similar restaurants. They do have a great menu selection. My table's favorites included the French Toast and the elevated breakfast sandwich! I enjoyed a delicious healthy avocado toast. Service was wonderful. Friendly seating host and wait staff. The coffee isn't freshly ground I'm somewhat of a coffee snob. Other than that, I'll definitely eat here again!

I was excited to try them based off of their other stellar reviews and the fact that they were in very close proximity to my hotel. We arrived around 1:30pm and the restaurant was seemingly empty. The hostess told us we could pick where we wanted to sit outside. The waiter eventually came. He wasn't terrible, but he def wasn't great. He seemed to be annoyed and for what .. I wish I could tell you. But that wasn't what caused this 2 star review. A girl came to our with our food and asked who had what. My mom started to tell her what was in her omelet and before she could finish her sentence the girl SLAMMED/DROPPED the plate on the table.. walked around to my aunt and did the exact same thing to her food and practically stormed off. What the actual heck. . . Our food came in a timely matter, but to say the restaurant was basically empty all our food was either cold or just not that good. My bread wasn't toasted, my potatoes were room temp, both my mom and aunts pancakes were cold (and they couldn't remake them because they ran out of pancake mix), they forgot my brothers brown sugar and bacon, and the donut holes were greasy and cold. Won't be back and surely won't recommend. read more

I love this place and seek them out as I travel for business. This was the first time I saw a "false wait" list ( open tables but most likely understaffed for servers) I was seated in the quoted time, but sat for 15 minutes, which I thought was plenty of time, with no service but servers bussing tables instead. Went on a Sunday at around noon, we were told it was a 15-20 minute wait. We waited for 30 minutes, and still didn't called. We were told we were next but someone with the same number of people (4) who got there after us were seated immediately. I'm assuming because I heard them tell the host that outside was fine. Yes! Finally a solid breakfast/brunch place that's just around the corner! I believe First Watch replaced The Egg and I, and totally dig all the renovations to give this place a clean rustic farmhouse look with an open concept! We loved all the selections, especially with the usual off the griddle offerings like omelettes, pancakes, or waffles but also the more healthier offerings like Quinoa bowls or frittatas. My wife opted for the Eggs Benedict with freshly sliced avocado. It was solid. It was not soggy like the one I got at Snooze the other day, but packed with freshness and flavor. Leafy greens were great. I also went for one of their seasonal specials, which I think was called the Baja Chicken Burrito bowl. I went for it because it had the most robust combination- slices of organic salsa verde chicken packed with black beans, kale slaw, quinoa AND farro, avocados, pico de gallo, and a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. Soooo good. Add unlimited refills on coffee and a cozy atmosphere with attentive service, it's hard not to see why this place is so packed. Come early. This is going to be our go-to date place for a lazy Saturday morning! read more

Enjoyed a tasty breakfast and great service this brisk morning. This is my second visit to this location this week and I'm impressed with how well the eggs are cooked to order. Literally everything here is not fresh. They advertise "fresh" preserves and it tastes like schmuckers. They advertise house made multigrain pancakes and use premade pancake mix. If you're coming here you might as well go to Denny's. I got an overcooked omelet, and my girlfriend had over hard poached eggs on her Benedict. Absolutely disappointing. And don't even expect to get your food within 50 minutes on a Sunday, they were packed and I'm honestly confused why. read more

Arrived with my two teenagers on a Saturday shortly after 11:00 AM, and they were very busy. We were promptly and cheerful greeted, placed on the wait list, and told the wait would be only 5 - 10 minutes. We were called in about 7 minutes. We were seated for quite a while before a server came, and watched other tables seated after us receive service. I finally caught the eye of a server who responded. Apparently there was a misunderstanding amongst the servers who was assigned to our table. Once that was established, we were taken care of. My son ordered a plain omelet with cheese and a side of fruit, and orange juice - he was pleased with it. My daughter and I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Hash. THAT was amazingly flavorful! I ordered my eggs over medium, so the yolk was a bit viscous, just the way I like it. Breaking the yolk and mixing it all together with the shiitake and crimini mushrooms, the lean, thick bacon, the potatoes, the touch of Parmesan sauce, and surprisingly the arugula added wonderful flavor! An excellent dish! Before we left, we ordered the short rib omelet to take home to my husband. He said the meat was very tender, and the dish overall was very flavorful. Our server's affect was a bit flat, but she took care of us. That's OK - they were very busy. The First Watch menu is not like most restaurants. They get creative with their dishes and change them up seasonally, so there's nothing boring about this menu! Quality ingredients skillfully prepared. Rainy morning, so decided to check out First Watch for Breakfast (Beltway & Round Up Lane). Has anyone else been? We had been driving to Memorial City or out 290 for Breakfast from time to time. I have to say - this place is so much better! Everything was fresh and to die for. From the coffee to the seeded wheat toast & fresh jelly. Everything was homemade and just amazing. They were very slow, so I told them I would post on our neighborhood page. Robert who lives nearby was our server and was great. They are being very safe with distanced tables, hand sanitizer and masks. Wanted to give a shoutout to this wonderful place!! Don't go here if you want your food in a timely manner. Took over an hour to get our food and we only ordered two dishes. We seen our waiter one time and ended up just having our food packed up to go. The food was not hot when we received it. It wasn't packed in there either so either this is just how they do business or they just took there sweet with Our order. The coffee deserves special recognition for achieving the impossible: tasting like hot water that once made eye contact with a coffee bean. As for the service, our server never introduced herself, never acknowledged the mix up, and seemed determined to complete her checklist without interacting with the customers. A simple smile or "I think this might be the wrong order" would've gone a long way. Instead, we got the hospitality equivalent of an automated email.

We were hosting a graduation watch party for our out of town guests and family members that couldn't attend the ceremony as the hotel wanted to charge $300 for 2 hours for a room for 20 with a $250 cleaning fee for outside food even though we had guests staying at the hotel. The manager was polite, courteous and helpful and explained the options for food (catering online order for pick up indicating that it was for the party in the notes, or guests purchasing on their own). We opted for the online catering option and I easily viewed food choices and ordered the assorted pastry box and coffee with condiments. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly smiling faces in the front of the house and proceeded to the room to set up. Although there isn't a tv monitor, projector or screen, all the inputs and electricity is there. The manager explained all this on the call so I was prepared. I brought a backdrop stand, backdrop, projector, and laptop to connect to the projector to show the livestream for the ceremony. We asked about WiFi and were told it is provided and free with no password required for access. I was able to get everything set up, connected, and ready for viewing quickly and easily. It would be amazing if the company invested in a smart tv or monitor so you could just connect via Bluetooth or flash drive, but I digress lol. The space is free so you make it work and be happy. While I set up, the Catering Specialist Carlos quickly and efficiently took my catering order, which was originally packed for pick up, and plated the pastries and set everything up for me in the room. He was so nice and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. We had a small balloon tower that we placed outside the room for guests to find us. The event was great and the venue was perfect for our small gathering. Some of our guests ordered from the menu as well and loved their breakfast. We are very grateful that this venue has this meeting space option free of charge to their community. It's a perfect gathering space.

Myself and my Fiancée got one of the special and Eggs Benedict Smoked Salon with specialty drinks (non-alcoholic). The whole thing is a wonderful and extremely affordable experience. Went recently asked for my favorite waitress, Adara. Ordered french toast with an iced coffee. My gosh was it good. The coffee tasted well like coffee. Most places add all kinds of stuff and by the time you get it, you can barely taste the coffee. Not here. Here they care about what they give you. French toast was fluffy and warm and delicious! She told the employee that she was there to pick up an order and the employee told her my name (so they were expecting the order to be picked up) my friend told the employee there were two orders. The employee handed her what she said were both orders, so my friend had no reason to believe anything was missing. After she returned to my house, we began preparing for a lunch party with about 20 guests. When it was time to serve, we realized one of the orders was missing. I called the restaurant and was told, "Yes, your order is still here." I asked if they could deliver it since the mistake happened during pickup, but they refused. When I asked how they planned to make the situation right and requested some type of compensation for the inconvenience, the manager became rude, raised her voice, and yelled at me. Keep in mind, this was a $136.00 order. What was especially frustrating was that the manager repeatedly insisted the problem was my friend's fault because she didn't specify that one of the orders was a "catering order". My question is: How is a customer supposed to know they need to say that? Nowhere during the ordering process was I told that catering orders are handled separately or that I needed to instruct my pickup person to ask for a catering order specifically. We did exactly what any reasonable customer would do--we gave my name, stated there were two orders, and trusted the employee when she handed over what she said were both orders. I called back hoping for a calmer conversation, but the manager was just as rude the second time. In the end, my son had to make a 40-minute round trip to pick up the missing order while I stayed behind trying to host my guests. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I cannot understand is the complete lack of accountability and customer service. A sincere apology, an offer to help, or even acknowledging that the employee should have verified both orders were picked up would have gone a long way. Instead, I was blamed for something I had no way of knowing and treated disrespectfully. The missing order was frustrating, but the manager's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility are the reasons I won't be returning to this location.

Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. One of my favorite things was how accommodating they were--I was able to substitute ingredients to create exactly the crepe I wanted, and it turned out incredible. Everything tasted fresh, the crepes were perfectly made, and the flavors were outstanding. The little salad that came on the plate had a dressing that was bussing! I almost went up and bought some more of the dressing its self. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or just looking for an amazing crepe, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely be back to try even more of the menu!

They do have a fountain beverages, water station with utensils by the counter. I had the La Canadienne with St. Tropez. Both items were savory and hit the spot this morning. My friend had the Chicken Florentine and a lavender mimosa. We enjoyed our meals. This was a pleasant experience. I would definitely come back.
