Too much frou-frou stuff on the menu. I ended up finding a normal-ish omelette and thought it was a bit bland, although it was chock full of bacon, onions and other ingredients. The BEC is the best ehh sandwich ever! Season item in First Watch menu and it was amazing! Highly recommend! I will say it is a little spicy due to the peppers and sauce added to this sandwich but it isn't overpower and just the right amount of spice! The sandwich was huge and the size of my hand! Came here for brunch today and boy did i picked the wrong day to come when it was Mother's Day wait was 35mins long oof. But anyways after we got over with the long wait we were sat in a small booth area, they had their mother day menu which was cute and spring menu which I always look forward to. Order their new spring drink the Pineapple Express which contain pineapple, orange , lime, agave , and coconut water with a mint rim around can say it was 8/10 the picture on the menu advertise a lime ‍ wedge or on top of the drink which I was looking forward to but nope understandable as well as it was busy but the agave and lime did over powered the drink name but it was a great drink overall. The work omelette was a solid 7.5/10 the ingredients that were in the omelette tasted burnt.... And wasn't pleasant at all I thought it was maybe one or two burnt veggies but not the more I went further in the more it tasted burnt. Couldn't finished it.... Server checked once which was when the food was dropped off and then a second to dropped off the check which was 15-20 mins later.... Didn't get a whole hour of the brunch before the check was brought to me kinda felt rushed a bit I think I spend more time waiting for the table and waiting for the food than getting to eat it honestly lol. But overall learned my lesson on going at a busy occasion for brunch but I think it would have still been the same experience regardless. read more

Came on Thursday around 12pm with a large group of 10. We had no problem getting a big table. The server was quick and attentive. I had never tried their cold brew before and it was amazing! I had the morning market vegetable omelette with fruit and grits. The food came out quickly. Everything was fresh, the goat cheese in the omelette gives it a good tang and flavor. I used to love First Watch but they are starting to use lower quality ingredients. Recently I ordered delivery and the turkey sausage had weird mushy slime all over it and looked anemic. I called the Southside location and they said they had a change but would hopefully get the better one back. A few days ago I called to see if they went back to the better product and they said that's just how they are now. If they're OK with this, I have to assume they're cutting corners elsewhere. Great breakfast with amazing service. I was recently able to stop here while in town for work. I really enjoyed my Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. Shoutout to our local community heroes! I haven't been to First Watch in years. We used to go to our venue in Maryland a lot with our kids while they were in high school. Now that we are empty nesters, it's a different experience. The venue was clean, organized l, and the staff seemed very upbeat. We were given a pot of hot coffee from the hostess and she told us that our server would be right out. Today, we were blessed to have Robbie taking care of us. He is a wonderful human! Great welcoming presence, attentive, personable, and patient. He let me reacquaint myself with the menu and it was cool to see the seasonal menu too. I was enjoying the carafe full of well balanced flavorful piping hot coffee and knowing that I could top off my cup at any time to keep it hot. The entree that I picked today was the lemon ricotta pancakes. These things were HUGE and a fun treat! No syrup needed, but it was placed on the table just in case. The bright lemon curd contrasted with the tart strawberries just perfectly and gave these pancakes an elegant twist. I had to have Robbie send back a compliment to the chef that made my extra crispy bacon so on point!! Hubby had a power bowl quinoa dish which he thought was amazing! He didn't know how much he liked quinoa. I definitely could not finish these massive pancakes, but I know that they would taste just as delicious later. I also ordered our younger daughter's favorite to take home: a.m. superfoods bowl. I love anything coconut! Robbie was so amazing and gave us TLC in the midst of taking care of a very large party bedside us. A group of us came here for breakfast after we finished the Swoop the Loop 5K at UNF. We had a group of 5 and arrived around 10:00 am and were seated immediately. The server was very friendly and helpful. He answered all of our questions and brought us everything we needed. We all enjoyed our food. I stopped by today to have a quick breakfast, it ended up being really quick unfortunately, but everything was great! My food was absolutely delicious. I got the Trifecta - with a Belgium waffle, bacon and fruit (I don't eat eggs). Everything was really good, and just what I needed, I was craving a waffle and this really hit the spot. My server Robbie, was absolutely wonderful. He's such a great personality and was very attentive to me. Even when I had to leave quickly, he was very accommodating. My first time at First Watch was everything I expected and more. The brunch craze is real so I typically try to avoid these types of places on weekends but this week (during a weekday) we went out for a team lunch at this location. First of all the look and feel is so comfortable. It's a mix of contemporary farmhouse style and it makes you feel so welcome. All servers were nice and even with a larger party we were sat immediately. The menu had plenty to pick from whether you were in the mood for breakfast or lunch. I opted for the chiki chiki changa - a breakfast burrito with chicken and chorizo. It was SO tasty. I wished it was a bit spicier, but it didn't break the dish for me. The flavors were still wonderful. The coffee was constantly flowing and little flavored creamers were available table side which I always appreciate. I can't speak for the weekends, but if you're craving breakfast/brunch on a weekday this is a great stop! read more

It was our first time here so we needed a good minute to read the menu. I decided to get a carrot cake pancake because I never heard of that before. It was good, when I drowned it in syrup. Absolutely awful!!!!!!!! I went to a first watch for the first time in a long time and remembered why I stopped going. I ordered a trifecta with a waffle, scrambled eggs and their "Million dollar" bacon. The only thing decent was the waffle but how hard is that. The eggs were burnt as well as the bacon. Such a waste of money. I get why they were burnt because in a mostly empty restaurant the food took over 20 min. The server never apologized or even cared. She was rude and condescending. Great food, terrible service. Used their online option to hold my place in line, yet they still sat everyone that walked in ahead of us. My 25 minute wait turned into 45 minutes and when I went to the front to ask them about the blonde had an incredibly poor attitude. If it were me alone, I would have left after that but I was with a group. We finally got called after checking in once again. When we came in the blonde said, "three right?" No, four...like I put in online. We were all standing there which leads me to think she was being nasty on purpose since she didn't even look at me. They didn't sweep underneath before sitting us and there was food everywhere. Had to ask them (very nicely) to come sweep it and they definitely took their time. Waited about 5-10 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. Food came quickly. Waitress never checked on us. No refills, no asking how everything was...nothing. We did ask for salt and pepper when she brought our food which she said she would be right back with but never came. Lol We just gave up. We order a muffin (picture attached) which wasn't cooked all the way. Had another employee (because our waitress was MIA) bring us a new muffin. Didn't even take the uncooked muffin out of the way. Still no sign of the waitress. She finally snuck over to drop our check at the table without saying a word. We paid and were getting ready to leave when she finally came over and asked if there was something wrong with the muffin (since she noticed two) and offered to get us another for road (which we declined but points for offering). As for Covid precautions, at least three employees had their masks under their noses. Witnessed an employee taking a syrup bottle from an uncleaned table to people at a new table without sanitizing it. Oh yeah, lots of empty, uncleaned tables while we waited the 45 minutes for a table. While the staff were very attentive as well as kind, I felt as though the quality of the new dish I ordered was below average. Deciding on a healthier approach I settled upon the Power Wrap (egg whites, spinach, and mushrooms), and while the presentation was nicely done I found the overall dish to be extremely bland. The dish itself lacks flavor, seasoning, and can be overbearing in terms of the amount of spinach that was added into the tortilla. The mushrooms didn't go well at all with the overall flow of the wrap and proceeded to fall out as you would pick it up.
