Yuk... this place is so dirty. The water glasses and silverwear are dirty, the walls, and ledges have dirt and stains, the restrooms are pig styes. The employees are less than friendly. We had to beg for water. Then the pancakes came, but no syrup, it took more than 10mins to get syrup, by then pancakes were cold and soggy. $32 bucks for a gross breakfast Normally, First watch is great, but not this one. I had the Chickichanga. It was great! I tasted one of my sister's pancakes and they were really good. My other sister received her food and was 1/3 way through her meal and saw hair in her food. It was dark, curly hair and did not match the hair of anyone at the table and my other sister spotted the culprit in the kitchen. She received a replacement meal that, looked and she said tasted, better than the first hash bowl. Last major issue was a fly that continued to hang out at our table and more specifically near me. Called in an order for pickup. I stand at the front waiting..no one! A girl came up look me in the eye. Didn't greet me. She proceeded to seat people that walked in after me then went to the back. Then someone else serving drinks asked if I needed help. The first girl then proceeded to walk back to say she thought I was waiting for uber!! Which she didn't ask me when she first saw me! I sat in this section for 10 mins watching the waitress walk pass me over and over again. I'm going to say it's because I'm black. An older white couple sat next to me and within the first 1minute, she took their drink order. I do not recommend this place. Maybe it's just her or maybe the whole place. We look forward to eating brunch at this restaurant every Sunday. My favorite is the 2 for You Walnut Salad (filled with wonderful greens, bacon, and nuts), and the 1/2 Veggie Sandwich. I really like this place but today has been my worst experience thus far. My veggie burger was bland and the service was slow and forgetful. My daughter's food arrived without syrup, so I had to request it. I had to ask for water after consuming my juice. Then it was ages before the water arrived. Same thing with the napkins I requested as I had to clean up the cup my daughter's chocolate milk arrived as there was milk covering the lid. The beet juice was delicious; so was the chocolate chip pancake and bacon. It was really busy when I went a Saturday at 11am waited like 15 min to be seated not that long. It didn't bother me since it what I wanted to have for my bday. Wanted to try the seasonal items. I Ordered the Short Rib poutine hash, my son and husband got the cinnamon roll. I was surprised to check my email and find out I had a free entree as a bday gift so that was a plus!!! Since my dad is on low sodium diet so I though this place would be good for him and I did mention 'no salt please' to his order. But dang!!!!...it was way TOO salty!! We frequent First Watch in Downtown Tampa, Brandon, Riverview....and the worst service has been at this one. The food was as you'd expect from First Watch, but it took a good 10 minutes for us to be greeted by a server and half our order came out 10 minutes before the other 2 dishes. This place is so overrated is ridiculous. We had a group of 4 and we all sent our plates back ! The eggs were not cooked how we ordered them ! Who doesn't know how to cook eggs??? Second plates were too salty .. two people from our group couldn't eat their food and opted not to send it back in fear of waiting another hour for crappy food . The waitress was nice but the place is not good at all. Wait is long and our breakfast was totally ruined on our visit here. The manager came to our table, apologize and gave us a buy one get one free next time and didn't charge us for the meal . I was craving an omelet and happened to see this First Watch while driving. I stopped in alone. I was immediately sat and my server came up with coffee pretty quick. I told him I was ready to order and he took my order and walked away. I never saw him again. I was thirsty and needed water. Never saw him. Someone ran my food, which was cold, and he never came back to check on me. I ate my cold omelette with nothing to wash it down, got up and went to the hostess desk to pay because I think he left. There was a bunch of staff working and they weren't that busy. I was so irritated. I threw a couple bucks on the table because my conscience would never let me stiff anyone. The food was not good. Ordered extra crispy potatoes, and got raw uncooked potatoes. Waitress was going to get us new ones and we just sat there waiting, they never came. She was nice and all, but the general experience was not good. The location on Bruce B Downs and 56 has quality far above what this location offers. Also, the coffee was bad, very bitter. Food is excellent, asked for drink samples and was provided without issue. traditional breakfast was a good quick breakfast, bacon has good favor and just the right amount of chrisp. stay away from the turkey sausage, too dry and blan. Fruit side with breakfast is a meal in itself and the kale and morning meditation drinks excellent. my new breakfast spot after a morning workout and the newly hired staff are still working on their skills, but they are friendly and helpful! We always go to the Wesley Chapel location, but we figured we would give this location a chance! We got our food and both had random ingredients that didn't belong in our dishes which is always just kind of gross to me. I'm just not a huge random sausage in my eggs person. I also asked for no tomatoes and there were a ton in my skillet. We politely told our waitress and she just seemed dumbfounded and it was super awkward. She offered to remake our meals, but by the time she had come out to check on us we had already picked around the weird stuff. We ate our meals so of course we had no issue paying for them, but at any other restaurant I feel like someone from upper management would've come to our table to see what they could do better next time. We normally go to the location in Wesley Chapel, but we had business in Lutz today and knew this location just opened and were excited to try it. While we did have some issues with the service, and the food we were very impressed with the manager Jason Gargiolo. He listened to our concerns, was genuinely apologetic and emphatic. He did everything he could to take care of us and be good to his staff. He is an asset to the First Watch organization and will keep us coming back to eat here and other locations. This will have been the third time I've attempted to come to this location and the third time I've walked out. Put my name on the no wait list, get to the restaurant only to be told my name is missing due to a glitch and for the host to keep asking me if i have a different name..... i asked for the wait and was told 45 mins and that there wasn't anything to be done for the i convince. after walking out i look up the wait online and it says 20 mins. First Watch is one of my favorite breakfast places. I always order their iced coffee to drink, as it is the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Every time I come, I peruse the menu as I am going to try something new, but always end up ordering the same thing because I love it! I always get a skillet hash, either the Farmhouse or the Parma. First watch is great. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots for me and my family. I love that it is kid friendly and has a lot of differently healthy choices and you can change your order at will, not having to to according to the menu, they'll make it for you if they have the ingredients. I have two small boys under 5 and they live the kids menu options and the crayons and activity sheet that comes with their menu. Keeps them busy. I especially appreciate that you can get on the wait list via your phone. This is very helpful! Oh and the staff is always friendly. read more

One of the girl host was very unprofessional. She took us to an outside table, and out of the two tables that were available she sat us down at the one with no shade. Since we did not want to sit on a hot chair with the sun beaming on our faces while the other guest sit in the shade, we asked her nicely if we could be seated at the one with shade, granted they only needed to wipe that table down since it only had two cups from the previous guests. She ignored us and continued to walk away, keeping us confused and later she rudely said to us to just grab our menus and just pointed at the table we originally wanted to sit down. We thought she would at-least be kind enough to wipe down the table, well she did not. Maybe she was having a bad day but I don't think she should be seatings guests with that kind of attitude. :/ read more

Overpriced, shady eggs counts and baby screaming - My husband and I went to this restaurant a couple of times. the first time my husband had a sandwich and the menu state 2 eggs but when it came only 1 egg was served. The last time, I ordered 3 simple scramble eggs with bacon. I've been on a keto diet for sometime now and I'm very familiar on the size of 3 scramble eggs. When it arrived, it was the size of ONLY one egg. When I asked the server he did not flinch an eye and said: yes it's 3 eggs.. BS... Also during our whole time at the restaurant a baby was screaming his eyes out and nobody did anything to even ask the parent to bring the baby outside to calm him..Not a very pleasant experience to say the least.. The service is spectacular! Everyone of the servers greeted me with a smile. I love their Pesto Quinoa Bowl! Even though I like to eat healthy, and there are plenty of options, I was suggested the Banana Fosters Toast. I can't wait to go back and get some! David the manager was so attentive and friendly.
