I've had first watch before and I wasn't driven to write a review about it, but going to this location things have changed. Each part of the dish we had was absolutely perfection. The sausage wasn't one of those preformed frozen patties that you keep around the house. It was full of flavor and had a wonderful texture and cook to it. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and put me to shame. To finish off I had to try the pumpkin pancakes. And every bite of them was fantastic. I enjoy that you don't just get a "pumpkin spice" flavor but the actual flavors of pumpkin. You almost don't even need syrup on it which is a sign of a great pancake(of course I did because I'm a syrup fiend). Go check this place out and grab a cinnamon toast crunch cocktail to start your brunch off rjght! read more

Came here for breakfast this morning and was very happy with the meal and service. Everyone was super friendly and the service was quick. I ordered the oatmeal with a side of chicken sausage and my husband order the BLT Benedict. Both meals were were great! The chicken sausage was very flavorful. I love the presentation of the oatmeal set up and would definitely get it again. The BLT Benedict was awesome. The eggs were cooked perfect and the hollandaise was not too heavy. I'm giving my experience there today 3 stars because I don't want to take away from the delicious food and cocktail that I experienced there. Nor do I want to not share that my waitress was excellent. They problem I encountered was leaving the place. When I walked up to the register to pay, I was not greeted by the "cashier" as many, many places do when you are leaving. Usually places ask "how was everything?". Instead, my husband volunteered to the woman that everything was great! She truly didn't acknowledge him saying that. I asked her about being able to add a tip to my purchase. At some places, the cashier has to do it before the transaction is inputted. She was extremely short with her responses and answered in a rude/snappy tone. It was 9am in the morning so this is sad that the restaurant hadn't been open that long for her to be so rude. Not sure what she had going on personally today, but she should have called off and dealt with it. I did not give her the negative energy back, however, I wish I had of asked to speak with a manager because that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I honestly love this place as do many others as this place is always busy when I go here. The service is great even during peak hours and we were sat much quicker than expected which was nice. The food is very fresh and they often have seasonal meals or drinks. This location has a bar and very "first watchy" drink options. I personally like the vodka kale tonic and their mimosas. I still haven't tried the cinnamon toast drink but it looks quite yummy. This visit, I ordered the farmhouse skillet and one slice of French toast on the side as I can never choose between a sweet or savory breakfast. So why not both?! The skillet was delicious. The potatoes, bacon and tomatoes were all very flavorful and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly on top. The dish comes with a side of toast and fruit and it was all so good. My husband got the club sandwich with potatoes and was a big fan. We took half his sandwich and my leftover potatoes home with us and they were still good then. The rest of our party got pancakes, the trifecta, biscuits and gravy and the Floridian French toast. Nobody was disappointed! Update: after countless messages on FB, emailing the manager of the location and emailing their corporate email, I am still being ignored and have not gotten a refund for the item I did not get. Careful when placing an online order for take out. I ordered and paid online at 10:53am and got to First Watch around 11:10am. By 11:30 one of the waitresses came to check on me and said they lost the ticket for my order so they didn't even start working on it yet. I said no problem and waited a little longer. Around 11:45am my order finally was ready. I paid almost $12 for a Floridian French toast but when I got home found out there was no Floridian french toast in the bag. I called them and after explaining what happened to 2 different people they put me on hold. I told them I just wanted a refund for the Floridian French toast- not necessarily for the entire order. After being on hold and no one checking in for 25 minutes I gave up. Just wanted to pick up a nice breakfast from my local first watch and now, 70 minutes later, I still haven't eaten and am not planning on being on hold on the phone any longer. I used to love First Watch in Waterford Lakes but this has been a bad experience. I gave them the chance to make it right after first admitting to losing my ticket, then sending me home with the wrong order. But I won't spend another hour of my day waiting on the phone. This is my favorite breakfast spot at the moment! My best experience has been sitting at the counter/bar. I highly recommend the elevated egg sandwich. All of the hash options are good as well. I have yet to try any of the alcoholic beverages but I definitely want to! Also the pricing is definitely reasonable for what you get (& that is coming from a college student) I love that they made a Waterford lakes location. It is super busy on Saturday and Sunday's, which is to be expected. But they do have a great system where they text you whenever your table is ready so you don't need to stay in the restaurant while waiting! read more

We went here Sunday morning and we're absolutely disappointed. We first waited 15 minutes for drinks and water. We waited an hour for eggs Benedict and then was told it was taking this long since they had to poach an egg. We then finally get one eggs Benedict and the other meal and had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the other Benedict. That Benedict came and the egg was completely uncooked and runny. We asked to see the manager and they never came to the table, however did take care of the check. Very disappointed in the communication at this location. read more

Never have had a bad experience here! The food delicious and we love that the outdoor patio allows dogs which our boy loves. Our waiters/waitresses have been amazing! Brandon was great as was John today. Last weekend, Collin was a gem and helped me out with some Coca Cola when I was getting a headache. I felt it coming and cola helps when I take the pill with it. The food is good, with quality preparation, although the accuracy of often off or missing something. My meal was missing the eggs from the skillet, which is the main part of the dish. The server noticed this and had the kitchen cook eggs instead of fixing it. By the time the eggs came out, I was done with the rest. I just want to say how amazing the staff and Jason (manager) are. He came out to inform us about the wait time. Which, I thought was very professional. My husband and I have been there 3 days in a row. The food options are amazing, and the taste is delicious. We have waited a short amount of time, and we have waited a lengthy amount of time. But, it is so worth it. Even though they are short staff, they still manage to make your experience a great one. I also want to mention to anyone reading this, be kind to the staff. They are honestly trying to do their job and accommodate everyone. Trust me , you won't be disappointed. To whomever the cook was today, you did awesome. Went to this location today. Been to FW many times and this one, my third trip. The red haired waitress was very unfriendly. She slammed my cup of water on my table. The nice couple and child sitting across from me who were not brown skinned like me and had blonde hair were thanked and asked to come back soon. I was given the bill and told the hostess at the front would check me out. Not a thank you or a kind word was sent my way. I won't be back to this location and am considering never going back to FW ever. I look around and don't see that any of their employees represent the community and have zero diversity. read more
