Does this place have a manager? Several dirty tables sit un cleared while many people wait 15- 20 minutes for a table. We are finally seated at an unclean table with dishes still on it. We ask for a rag to wipe it down ourselves. 15 minutes after being seated we are still waiting to order. What a disappointment. We will not be back. We have been here since 9:00 AM. It's 10:30 AM. I had really high hopes for this place....When I first entered there I used the app to secure a place in line so my wait was only a few minutes. Once seated, our orders were taken quickly and our food came in 10 minutes. The Chia seed pudding was delicious; it had just the right amount of sweetness and was very creamy. This was my first time coming here. I must say I'm very impressed with the quality of food that was served to us. Yes there is a good wait but prior to coming I saw that you can check in on yelp. Our wait time was only 10 minutes compared to people waiting 30 minutes. I noticed a lot of people on yelp complaining about the wait time. This is how it is in midtown, downtown, etc for good quality food. If you want something fast McDonald's is just a short drive away. Pearland has needed a restaurant like this. You get what you pay for. I will be back again to try something new! read more

Wow! We have been waiting for over an hour and still no food has arrived. This is the 2nd time we have been to this location and both times we waited a very long time. I could understand if there was a wait but there are plenty of open tables. Also, they obviously did not clean our table as open creamer packs were left. Bathroom had no toilet paper and was filthy. I will say that the food itself is good, but it's a bit mediocre for the price point. I understand why it is as pricey as it is, but that doesn't make it taste any better. Absolutely loved this place! I went one Friday morning around 9am and although they were pretty busy, we were seated immediately and offered coffee and water as we sat. We ordered food shortly after, and although the wait for the food was somewhat longer than expected it was well worth the wait! I loved the food! Lemon Risotto pancakes are the best! I dont know how they make their pancakes but everytime they are perfect! I also love their seasonal offerings that they have and natural juices. So, I tried to order the Chicken Chimichurri hash they did not have it's a seasonal item I was bummed. Ok then I viewed the menu then found something enticing it was the Frittata Rustica. This item asked for parmesan and mozzarella neither where on my plate. The seasoned potatoes they were not done fork had to be pushed through as I'm sure done potatoes it should be like going through butter. Just not a good experience the service was good for sure. There is nothing more annoying then going to have breakfast with your family and the food does not come out all at once. I got my food first and waited a while before my kids got their food. On top of it all I ordered the works omelette with sour cream on the side. When I got my food the cheese was not melted and all the meat inside was cold. I asked my waiter to get me another plate or just heat it up and she ensured her manager will remake the omelette. By the time I get my food my family has already finished eating. She brings me my plate and tells me sorry about the sour cream on top of the omelette. Again the cheese is not melted and I eat around the sour cream. If the managers final product is an omelette just like the one before First Watch is in trouble. This place is right up the road from my house and it's a shame I will past it up from now on. read more

We came to the pearland location and no one was in line and or wait was 25 minutes. After 25 minutes we were told that we were pushed back in line due to Yelp online reservations made after our reservation. This makes no sense if this is a first come first serve restaurant. I'm not sure if this is because we are Black and the individuals that booked online after us were white but this is a very racist set up and is unexceptional. Something needs to be done. Then I ask her about the corporate info and she tells me corporate doesn't apply to this location because they are a franchise. This is leaving a very bad taste and representation for this company I will be spreading this information around as I have recorded the information given and the rude manager at this location is Sandra she stated she's the only person I could speak with and that there is no one higher than her. Then I'm being seated after she sits 4 more groups and found out its a GM at this location who was present and a black gentleman. The 4 groups I watched pull up after me, one of the groups, i asked them how did they book and was told they booked when they got here not online. I'm not sure if me and my family presents alone bothered Sandra but this is ludicrous for us to receive this type of service upon entry and no other dealings but reserving once we got here! read more

May come back as it still isn't as crowded as Another Broken Egg is off of 288 but they really need to utilize more of their space for additional tables. The last time I went there were crickets all over the floor. I had to get someone to sweep them up. I always ask for my bacon to be cooked soft. They basically dip it in grease instead of cooking you fresh bacon out of pure laziness because they make all of their bacon at once in the early morning. I know this because someone who works their told me. So when my bacon is extra dark and greasy, but not all crispy and somewhat soft I know they just let it sit in some grease! First Watch has literally one of my favorite breakfast places because it never fails to please. Today I ordered the skillet hash and it was absolutely amazing. I substituted the bacon with chicken sausage to give it extra flavor and it really made the dish something special. During the week they can hold their own. Today is Sunday and we came at 1:30. Service was mediocre, there were no clean silverware so they were giving everyone to-go utensils, you could see the wait staff standing by the pass forever waiting for food. We were never replenished our water or coffee. I never got my cold green tea. Our food was cold, my Benedict eggs were over cooked. Again, it's a shame because it's a nice concept. My family and I went to First Watch for the first time today. We were really excited because the place looks fantastic.... and that's about when things went down hill... We waiting to be seated for 20 minutes after being told they are just cleaning some tables. They then sat a family before us which.. was rather rude. Someone came up and asked if we have been helped and we told them that we were told you all are cleaning tables. The lady then, "said oh okay so you all have been helped". Completely rude. We finally get seated at a dirty table.... there seems to be no organization or management in this place. So I ordered a coffee and went to use the creamers and they are all curdled and chunky.. so clearly they aren't checking dates or rotating products. So the service was pretty poor overall.
