Awesome food, but the service was the worst at any restaurant I've been at in a very long time. The waitress was rude about it, too, even though we were courteous and she kept making mistake after mistake - she acted like it was our fault that she forgot half our order and then continued giving awful service throughout the meal. It was so bad that at one point we had been sitting down for 25 minutes and still hadn't gotten the coffee we asked for, so I stood up and went to the kitchen to ask for someone else's help. One of the worst breakfast, turned into brunches I have ever experienced. We got there at breakfast time, two hours and almost thirty minutes later we finally got our order. Thankfully our waiter brought us some toast about 20 minutes before our food arrived, because at this point we were starving. Onto the food, if we are going to wait that long PLEASE do not bring us food that is so cold the cheese has resolidified. Only thing that was hot, the soups and grits. The chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes, waffle, farmhouse skillet were all luke warm at best. We sent back the cold ham and gruyere melt, and asked for the manager, he had it refired. He did compinsate us for the situation, hence at least two stars, plus our waiter was nice. To top the meal off though, we asked for a to go box for the new sandwich they brought because we were all done, so my husband only ate half, the waitress who brought us the box literally tossed it on the table, turned around and stormed off! The experience was so bad we actually refused the vouchers that were offered, we will not be giving this place a third try. read more

I've been to this location four times, and have gotten a different response for seating at the community table. First time I was sat with no issue. Second time I couldn't sit there because the restaurant was too full (makes sense). Third time, there was six seats available and two occupied, and I was told I needed to ask the two occupants if I could sit there, which defeats the purpose of community table. It was my first time here this past Sunday for brunch. I typically walk in at most restaurants but given it was a Sunday and the fuss about Brunch, I called ahead. I was instructed the wait time was about 20 minutes and that they will take my name and number for the wait list. So we showed up 20 minutes later to find many groups of people waiting. So I asked about our table and was told that we had to wait since there were no reservations. Puzzled, I pointed to my name and number written on a piece of paper. I was notified that I should have reserved via Yelp and that my group had to wait our turn. So 45 minutes later we were seated, 15 more minutes later we received our beverages. Food rolled out about 30 more minutes of waiting. Food was great!!! However the service was incredibly terrible. So slow that a couple next to our table waited 45 minutes before beverages even showed up! Not surprising, but they walked out. Management- work on the service, wait times were utterly ungodly! If I come back it'll be for the great food but I highly doubt I'd waste my Sunday afternoon waiting on food. read more

We've tried this place several times because the food is delicious. However, the slowness of service has gotten worse with each visit. This last time, it took 55 minutes to get our food from when we ordered it. Just 2 people and we ordered pretty simple breakfast dishes. After all the waiting, it was even more disappointing that my eggs benedict was actually cold. Not luke warm, but cold. We really wanted this to become a regular place for us because the location is great and with the exception of my last visit, the food has been outstanding. I just can't afford to waste 30 minutes waiting to sit, followed by 55 minutes waiting for a simple breakfast dish. I really like the vegetarian sandwich. It has a great fresh taste to it covered in delightful sauce and the bread has bits of grain and a great texture. My kids had the waffle and it was crunchy warm and fluffy, delightful. read more

We went in for a brunch. I had the frittata, my husband had the french toast and grits on the side. I was happy with my plate even though my vegetables with in huge chunks in the frittata. My husband was upset with his grits not being plain as stated on the menu and also it was served luke warm with additional butter on top. He asked to have his grits hot and another bowl came hot but watered down. He was very disappointed in how a breakfast restaurant can get plain grits served so wrong. As a teen he worked at a Luby's and says, "you keep grits warm in a hot water pan." "It's so simple!" The french toast bread was too thick. One side was mushy not cooked thourly. I gave a 2 stars only because I liked my plate. Upon checking out, I noticed the bags of coffee and granolas and asked how much they were. The host did not know. read more

The coffee is great. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were dry, I had to ask for butter and still that didn't help much. It sounds as though that combination would be delish , maybe it was the cheese. I do not care for loud music when i eat. I enjoy speaking to my dining partner but the music was too loud for conversation. My daughter had the veggie scramble skillet. that was awesome! That's why 3 stars. read more

This was my first time to have lunch at First Watch. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I went on my lunch break thinking it would be quick. However, my coworker & I waited well over 30 min for our simple salad & sandwich combo. Not to mention the couple next to us was already waiting 40 min for their food. It took so long that I requested our checks before even getting our food & asked to have our food to go. That took another 15-20 min. If you have TIME to spare, then definitely go & enjoy! Came to this restaurant on 12/22/2017 after some positive recommendations from friends. Unfortunately, there was an issue going on in the kitchen I wasn't made aware of until after I waited 42 minutes for my food. I so badly wanted to like this...I've been to other First Watch locations and have never been totally wowed, but this was absolutely terrible all the way around. I waited 10 minutes at the hostess stand to be put on the list, and when I got to the front of the line the girl working said "I don't know what I'm doing."....okay? As we stood and waited for our table, with about 30 other people, we counted ELEVEN empty tables. The servers move at an absolutely glacial place. One table sat empty and dirty for 10 minutes. When we were finally seated, our table was still dirty, and it took 10 minutes for any sort of waitstaff to come over to our table. When we ordered the waiter seemed put off that we wanted to order. The waiter for the table next to us came back to their table TWICE to ask what they ordered! They eventually gave up and left...which we considered multiple times. It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive and in that time we ran out of water and coffee and were never offered refills. To top it off, the ladies' bathroom had no toilet paper AT ALL, and the trash can was broken and overflowing. When our food arrived it was either cold or burnt...in our party of three each dish arrived at a different time, mine a full 10 minutes after the other two--which our waiter literally laughed at. I'm not one to write reviews but this was a terrible experience--and not once did there appear to be any managerial presence or any sort of apology to patrons. 1 Star--but, if you like being at a restaurant for 2+ hours and being fully disappointed all the way around, then this is the spot for you! read more

Sooooooooooooooooo Good! The food was very excellent, probably the best toast i've ever had. My friends avocado toast was "just how she liked it". The lemon pancake was a bit overdone but still very fluffy and crispy. I didn't really like my Morning Meditation because i'm not that big of a fan of those ingredients but my friend was obsessed with it! Only thing i could change was to make the wait time shorter, the time it took for my food to get to me was the reason i gave it 4 stars other than 5. First timer today at First Watch..an I can say the wait time was not a problem. My waiter was the issue on my first visit. Not a very friendly person when it came to me an my wife. He just grab our order an when it food came out he just threw it on the table and walked away. 7 mins he came back again to check on us an I mention to him I had another side order missing an also mention that the ham I received was slightly burnt. According to him it's normal for the ham to be dry an burnt. But he really didn't seem to care about us an he brought my missing side order with the Check as well. Oh well maybe I'll give them another shot. read more

This was my 3rd visit to First Watch. The 1st was spectacular. The 2nd was not so good and the 3rd we didn't stay to eat. The kitchen cant keep up. They've gotten so busy their food quality and service haven't kept up. It's a bad sign when you have a line of people waiting and have to hold empty tables because the kitchen cant keep up. They actually told me this. This restaurant needs new management. I wont be back for a long time. It's back to IHOP where there at least they are prepared for the rush. read more

The food is good. They added gluten free bread items to the menu, so that is appealing to my family. Our service here has been mostly attentive. One recent visit, I think the waitress was just having an off day. She was friendly, but didn't check in on us much. Overall, we enjoy eating here and would recommend it to others. Went there for breakfast at 8:00 on a cool and drizzly morning. Nice and clean inside. I like the set up, decor was nice and modern. A little pricey but not too bad. The only bad thing is their air conditioning not only froze me out, but made my food (which was very tasty by the way) cold before I could finish !! Who likes cold eggs. When the food was brought to the table, I asked the server if he could adjust the temp a little, but that didn't happen. Upon leaving, the cashier who was wearing a sweater said she was cold too! I'm sure if I had gone there on a warm day, I'd have given them five stars. read more

This place absolutely does not have their s@$t together. Walked in with people waiting to be seated. Were told 30-35 minutes. So we waited. 1 hour later, still waiting. Overheard them say kitchen was so backed up they wouldn't seat anymore. If you can't handle the crowd, get out of the business - you're making simple breakfast food. At least tell people the truth about their wait when they check in so we can just go elsewhere. Poorly managed, or possibly unmanaged. 8 mo pregnant wife still waiting as I write this. Good food, but gosh it gets so crowded. The servers are so young and inexperienced that they do not know how to run the place. The manager seems nice but I don't know how so many many young staff members are just standing around not doing anything to keep things moving. read more

We went to this restaurant for the first time today. The food was decent, but the wait will keep us from ever visiting again. We waited 55 minutes to be seated (the hostess said it would be 30) and then waited 45 additional minutes for our food. This was my first time eating here since they opened, and i must say, service was great, food was fresh tasting, and the coffee was quite nice early in the morning. It was especially great to have a good server to take care of us, we never ran out of coffee! All in all a great place to have saturday morning brunch lunch or breakfast. Service sucks!. Requested water, came in carafe, but no glassware. Waitress did not even come to check whether we had enough coffee and creamer. She only came once (to take our order)! Food sucks! Eggs Benedicts were 2 round lumps atop 2 thin bacon slices and "fresh" greens were stuff that looked like they came out of plastic container from Sams.
