Server started us off with serving coffee, and missed one of the cups completely and spilled on the ground an inch from my husbands shoe. Ordered the maple bacon shareable dish and it was brought out immediately, however we had no plates to eat it off of. So we waited, and waited. I eventually had to get up to get the attention of our server. When we finally dug in, the bacon was cold. So she brought out another one immediately and this one was just warm. Turns out, it's not made to order; it's made early in the morning and kept warm. We sent it back. When our main dishes came out, only 3 of the 4 made it. We waited just under 5 min for the 4 dish to come out. At the end of our meal, when our server was taking the dishes, she dropped the silverware drenched in berry topping from the French toast on to my white coat!!! As I sat through this food mess debacle, I witnessed the cashier take cash and payment from multiple ppl and wrap silverware in napkins between taking payment - talk about unsanitary. A manager never came to check up on us at any point nor did I see anyone on staff who resembled a manager. My family and I will no longer be coming to eat here ever again. read more

First Watch is my first review of the year! My husband raved about this breakfast place. He went on and on about the skillets. During this summer on a weekend, we tried getting brunch there, but sadly, it was too crowded. We walked away, literally to the Outback next door. Today, we succeeded. We arrived at 8:30 am and was pleasantly surprised to get seated immediately. We ordered two Skillet Hash (Parma). We split it among four people. My skillet was perfect. The eggs over hard was cooked perfectly without being too dry. The highlight was the golden brown, sauteed Crimini mushrooms. I also liked the buttered multi-grain toasts that came with delicious strawberry preserves. My husband's skillet wasn't as nicely presents. His skillet potatoes were underdone, a couple of my potatoes were also underdone. His eggs over easy was a little too runny for him. We enjoyed our little cup of fresh fruit that came with the meal. For the price of $10.99, I enjoyed the spread, and the portions were more than generous. We did not leave hungry. I hope to be back again. By the time our meal was done, there was a line waiting to be seated. It was an auspicious beginning to the new year! read more

I can't believe this really cool breakfast place is around the corner from where I live. Apparently no one else can because it's always packed. I found out it's a chain restaurant, but you wouldn't know it because the food tastes really authentic and good. My only complaint is I had the egg sandwich - I believe it's called the Loaded Egg, or the Upscale Egg Sandwich or something - for the first time last year. It's an egg sandwich with bacon, avocado... it was so incredibly good. The next time I tried it a few months ago, it was just blah. It was like something a teenager would make for a quick bite. And for the price it should've been better. It had little avocado, it was mostly brioche bun, and it just had one egg on it. The cheese also tasted really processed. It was a different type of cheese than before. That was the last time I ordered from there. Not really on purpose it's just that it was a bad experience. I usually get the farmers breakfast (or farmhouse breakfast) until I learned how to make it! read more

We were greeted warmly by a nice guy at the front, who also showed us our table and made sure to say bye when we left! It was a nice, clean atmosphere. It wasn't too busy and employees were nice. Everything came out in a timely manner. My fiancée and I both got the pick 2 lunch special. Half of my order was missing! Uber eats gave me my money back, but I don't think it's entirely Uber eats' fault. Don't get me wrong, the driver should've checked to see if everything was right before he took the order, but at the same time, only half of my food was in the bag and no one told him. I've been to First Watch in person before, and they throw the online orders on a table and drivers just grab whatever bag they think is theirs. Kinda unorganized. Something tells me the driver either 1) grabbed the bag when it wasn't ready yet (but that doesn't make sense either because the bag was sealed, meaning an employee went "yep, this is everything!" and sealed it). Or 2) there was another bag that they were preparing and the driver just grabbed one and left, and no one was watching. I know I can't know for sure what happened. This really sucks because this is my favorite restaurant. If this isn't the restaurant's fault, then sorry for the review, but at the same time, you guys should keep a watch on your online orders and make sure everything is correct before the driver takes them, or let the driver know there's another bag if that was the case. Don't leave the food unattended. This goes for any take out order, not just Uber eats. read more

The only way this place gets one star is because the alcoholic beverages were yummy. My husband got blueberry pancakes that were dry and crumbled and weren't even yummy or edible. My aunt came to town and we all decided to have breakfast here. I'd never been but let me tell you that I will be returning. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable. I was so happy to see such a nice place, it was clean and had a modern rustic decor. The menu had a large selection of trendy options, and the staff was very friendly. We all started with a juice. My traditional husband had fresh squeezed orange but myself and granddaughter opted for a blended juice from the juice bar. We were all pleased with our choices. For food I was drawn to the Floridian French toast. As a fruit lover I couldn't pass it up. It was beautiful but a little too sweet. I recommend you order a savory side to pair with it. Big enough to share so might be a better option next time. Our table also ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and the enchilada dish. I went to this restaurant on a Saturday morning around 8am. I was seated very quickly after arriving and the restaurant was about half full. I decided to order the Avocado Toast with Basted Eggs. After ordering, it did take quite a while for my food to arrive--probably 15 minutes. This surprised me since the restaurant didn't seem that crowded. The Avocado Toast was pretty good. My only complaint was that the avocados were not 100% ripe. They were still pretty hard and a little sour. The basted eggs were made perfect and tasted great. I started my meal with wanting to try a juice special from the seasonal menu. My server took the time to bring out little shot cups of the different flavors so I wouldn't spend money on a drink I didn't like. They were all delicious, but I decided to go with their Kale Tonic(Fuji Apple flavor mainly, lemon, kale, and cucumber to refresh your day). After the most wonderful server gained my trust, I took her recommendations for the rest of my meal. I followed up my Kale Tonic with First Watch's Million Dollar Bacon. Me and my three friends loved the flavor and could have all put down a BLT with this stuff. My next course was the legendary: Rainbow Toast. If you're a berry lover, this is the best breakfast ever. Like a strawberry shortcake on steroids. I finished up with the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash. They really nailed the Tex Mex Breakfast and put a defining flavor to mornings in Phoenix. I had no idea and sat in my car waiting for 30 minutes to receive the text that our table was ready. And thank god I decided to get off and ask. Loved it! We can the Day before Easter and had to reserve a Table for 12. Just had to call a hour or so to reserve. When we arrived they where quite busy they took us in about 20 minutes. The juice came out in a reasonable amount of time despite the place being packed for breakfast and tasted fantastic! It mostly tasted like apples which I love, with the Kale flavor of course.
