I ordered the ham and gruyere omelette and my wife had the french toast. I was very happy with both plates, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. This was just a short walk from our hotel but definitely worth the drive if you are in the Phoenix area. TIP: if you plan on coming during the weekend try to get there before 8/9 as the place gets busy after that. read more

I ate here three days in a row. I have had a variety of their menu options. Their pancakes are delicious but not as good as some places such as "The Original House of Pancakes." Their pancakes are something different and come with a variety of fillings (blueberry, etc). The syrup jar is brought to your table warm, yes warm, so it flows easier and their is not sharp contrast with the temperature of the pancakes. They pancakes and toast come with a jam cup (like ones used for ketchup).The toast here is awesome and I highly recommend it. They have a dish call avocado toast that is quite filling with it but I enjoyed it most on the side with butter and jam. They have a bacon speciality you can get with standard breakfast orders or order it on the side. The eggs and potatoes are good but not great, although I have not had a full omelet. They have a juice bar so oj, grapefruit, apple, and other juices are offered at 3 to 5 dollars. The location is surrounded by hotels whom I assume are their main customers. Parking looks bad but if you are staying at a hotel it isn't a bother. Cons are that like most places that are good it gets busy and crowded. The service is five star in friendliness and I must recommend Lee-ann (forgive the spelling she didn't have a name tag). The ambiance is kid friendly with a but of rustic charm. Price - as breakfast places go it is on par with the better and higher end with most stuff between $8 to $12 per person total. Quality is also high end with their juices, pancakes, and bacon. Delicious. This is a great place to stop if you are passing through Phoenix and want a high quality breakfast. I will eat here again if it is convenient. read more

First Watch menu features seasonal favorites along with standard breakfast and lunch items. The food is fresh, served in generous portions and the coffee is always hot. I like how they leave the coffee carafe and water bottle on the table, saves the server time and keeps diners supplied throughout the meal. Pay attention to the specials, have never been disappointed. Great restaurant, great food at great prices. read more

I usually frequent the location off the I17 and Dunlap, this location is always packed, because they are so good, but the staff gets things turned over pretty quick so the wait is most time minimal! Delicious food and drinks! Great atmosphere!! read more

Loved it! We can the Day before Easter and had to reserve a Table for 12. Just had to call a hour or so to reserve. When we arrived they where quite busy they took us in about 20 minutes. I ordered the Avocado, Crab and Egg on Toast and was delicious! Their Bloody Mary was Excellent the even have the good flavored creamer for your Coffee. A+++ right there because most restaurants want to be cheap and give you the plain stuff. The Bacon that came with the Bloody Mary was like brown sugar coated and so yummy. Our waitress was super! The location is great! The ambiance is awesome, it was quiet and relaxing this morning. But the food is underwhelming... I've been to a First Watch before and was impressed by their food but this branch... we ordered two BLT egg Benedict's and some French toast. I honestly wasn't impressed at all with the food. The French toast is just a toast, very dry and it's just a slice of bread with some butter on top. The egg Benedict, barely any bacon in it. It's sad that I paid almost $50 for a meal that is not what I expected for. read more

I love coming to this place they always have such great service and the food never fails me. This time that I came in I wanted to try out the vegetarian or vegetable skillet and when I ordered it I didn't see that it had goat cheese. When she brought out the dish, I didn't say anything I was just going to eat the toast and the fruit that came with it but she noticed that I didn't eat anything and she asked if everything was OK and that's when I told her that I was allergic so she quickly took it back. The plate was out in a couple minutes and I was just so happy, she didn't have to do that because I should've read the menu a little bit more carefully but that was so nice of her to do. As I sat waiting for my family.She asked me are we traveling here for a reason I explained to her we were here for my sons services. She offered her condolences to me and my family. She was visually shaken for us. As we ordered all this breakfast. When it was time for the bill she came over and said your bill is taken care of I spoke to my manager and they said to offer your food on us. I got up and gave her a big hug and we wept together for a few minutes. The Good will and kindness from strangers shows we still have some humility in this world of despair we need more love towards each other. Nice first try. Power wrap was flavorful and hot. A little dripping so get extra napkins. Traditional breakfast with chicken sausage patties (cold), toast was very good potatoes had an unfamiliar seasoning. No regular sugar at the table and natural cane sugar tainted the coffee. Front door coffee was much better (and free). Overall worth a second visit. Too bad the jabber jaw behind us ruined the atmosphere. He just wouldn't shut up!! Reception area could be a little larger, so use the wait list feature on Yelp. read more

I LOVE this place. Unfortunately if you don't go early on a weekend expect a wait. It's a nice cozy spot to have breakfast or brunch with family or friends. Overall, the service is great, I've never had a server who wasn't kind. The iced coffee is my favorite, so it's the avocado toast, and Belgian waffle. It's all about the food This was our second visit to this First Watch, and we had a nice brunch with great service. Our server was attentive, without being intrusive and our meals were both tasty. The restaurant was busy, however, the wait wasn't very long. Once seated our drinks were brought quickly. Everyone tried something different. I ordered pancakes with warm syrup, eggs, and bacon, and it was delicious. The bacon was crispy and pancakes were light and fluffy. All in all a great dining experience for breakfast. Pomegranate & pear refresher was yummy! Fresh squeezed OJ was refreshing. I got the chickachonga and devoured it! I tasted the lemon pancakes and they were fluffy and the lemon wasn't overpowering. Allergen friendly! One friend is gluten free and got the standard breakfast and said it was great!. The birds were kind of a pest, but other than that, sitting outside was lovely! Highly recommend.
