What a pleasant surprise. My wife and daughter got the Mexican street corn hash, plate was cleaned, loved it. I didnt know what to get so I let the waitress pick, so I got a soup and sandwich. It was delicious, I could of eaten a second helping. My waitress brought me a meditation fresh juice, a bit tart at first, but soon it went down smooth. This is a great restaurant and the food is delicious. Now for the service, 5 star. My waitress was a 10 star. She pick my beverage and my meal, she made great choices and she did not even know me. I am a plain eater, hence the reason I didn't know what to order and I let her order for me. Finally got to try out First watch early on a Wednesday and we were very pleased! The staff was so friendly to our daughter and the waitress brought her meal out first without us asking which I really appreciated! Nothing like a hungry kid waiting to eat. Coffee was nice and strong the the food was very fresh. I really enjoyed the elevated farm sandwich- bacon was cooked perfectly! Food is a little salty, just a heads up but portions were well sized and it's definitely enough to take a box home with you. I've never been to First Watch but was in the area waiting for my dog to be treated at a local vet and we decided to stop and eat. It was Monday so I didn't expect it to be so crowded, but it was a holiday so that's probably why. We only waited about 10 minutes for our table, which wasn't bad. The soda machine wasn't working so I decided to try a mimosa, which was great. We both got the Trifecta and the Million Dollar Bacon to split. The one on W Broad Street near Willow Lawn is like an echo chamber, no sound buffering at all and it is all wide open. Staff was super nice but a $20 breakfast should have been a lot better. My server kept disappearing and had to ask several other staff for items I had asked her to bring prior. I've been to this chain on occasion and thought it was pretty good for a chain place to have breakfast and brunch. I liked the items I tried like seasonal cinnamon chip pancakes, avocado toast, chia pudding and waffles. The lunch items were ok, I tried beef sandwich and salad but found the salad overdressed and the dressing too sweet. Previous times I went to the short pump or regency location. This past time I just went recently though to the willow lawn location and it was not good at all. My table was seated by a window booth and at the end of the meal I noticed the windowsill covered with ants!!! It seemed dirty compared to the other locations I've been to mentioned above. The service wasn't good either. But most importantly the food was just terrible. I ordered their seasonal special carnitas tostadas as did another person in my party and both our plates came out differently. I'm posting the picture of what it advertised versus what was served . The "cheese" sauce was discolored and broken, very grainy texture it ruined the whole dish. On my dish they forgot avocado. Others they remembered the avocado, so not consistent. What was plated and served was a big globby unappetizing mess. No care to presentation or taste whatsoever. Flavor was gross and didn't taste like cheese. Looked nothing like the photos advertised . Visiting from New York, my sister took me here for breakfast. Definitely was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the portion was worth the money. Now..our server, Mr. Kendall, was amazing! Excellent customer service. Treated us they way he would want to be treated. Even before we sat down and our menu fell on the floor, he went to get a brand new one. I've visited this location on three separate occasions and can say that it is honestly better than the location in Chesterfield/Midlothian. The service is great at both locations but the food is prepared with more care and even tastes better at the Broad Street location. On February 11th, six of us went to the new First Watch at 5310 W Broad for lunch. Before we got the door open, we could hear the music blasting! We did open the door, looked at each other, turned around and went to Panera Bread where we were able to have a conversation and enjoyed lunch. First Watch is my favorite restaurant, just about every where in the country except Virginia. The next closest one at 11721 W Broad is just the same. My first time at First Watch and probably my last. It's a Saturday morning so I know they are going to be busy seeing as how it's limited hours. However, we waited over 45 minutes for our food + waiting 45 minutes for a table. Was the food worth the wait? Not in my honest opinion. I got the Farmhouse style skillet with scrambled eggs & cheese. The tomatoes in the skillet were super sweet which caught me off guard. Didn't really pair with the potatoes, eggs, avo, & bacon in the skillet mix. The toast options were either multi-grain or gluten free and my husband was not a fan of either option but we all went with the multigrain. Million dollar bacon was the BEST part. Oh and the special drink I had. I forgot what it was called but it was watermelon, mint, and some other things in it. My son & husband got The Traditional. They were both very "meh" about it. For $75 for two adults & a 9 year old you'd think we would have a great meal but we walked away pretty disappointed. read more

Very nice place for a breakfast or brunch! My family came down for the weekend and wanted a good breakfast place. I'm not familiar with the area but First watch was the first place that popped up on yelp so we had to give it a try. On a Saturday at noon the wait was very minimal only 15 mins so that was great! We were seated quickly and was introduced to our wonderful waitress. I believe her name was divine she was on top of her game and was very attentive to our table. We got coffee immediately and she took our order right away. One thing I wish is that they had was regular sugar on the table. They only had artificial sweetener which I hate because of the after taste. I got the work's omelette and it was good but the filling of the omelette left something to be desired. I think their was too much going on and the egg and the filling felt separated not like they were cooked together. I don't know something about it was off lol. But the potatoes were good, the toast with the jam was amazing and we also had the millionaire bacon which was pretty good as well!
