My over easy egg whites were runny, the egg white was watery and not cooked, the yolk was fine. Very unappetizing though. The english muffin was right out of the bag and not toasted. Most people like toasted english muffins. I couldn't even eat it as it was cold and the butter wouldn't even melt. Food was basically undercooked, except the bacon was burnt to a very hard crisp. Service was good. The restaurant is extremely loud when busy and VERY COLD. It was very hectic at the entrance with the cashier being right next to the host booth. There were just a bunch of people standing around in no lines. Prices are a little high for breakfast, but the menu selection and quality of food beats a lot of breakfast restaurants. We finally sat and all they had was their community table that they seat you with other diners . There were plenty of other tables free but that was that. The icing on the cake came when 3/4 plates had OBVIOUS Hair in them. My son's waffles , and me and my other child's potatoes all had hair. My friend didn't even want to inspect hers we got up gave the manager our plates showed her the hair and at that time saw another table getting their plate taken back as well. The cook came out to stare and he DID NOT have a hair net. They offered to remake the food and comp it but hell no. I wouldn't recommend this place and will be checking on how we can officially report their location for their food and safety violation. The cold drink concoctions "Kale Tonic", "Morning Meditation", and "Strawberry Smash?" were all very good. Morning meditation was my favorite with Beet, Orange, Turmeric, and Ginger. Not on to the food: Lemon Ricotta pancakes: saved these for the end as I knew they were gonna be amazing and they didn't disappoint. Chickichanga: very interesting take on combining an omelet and chimichanga basically and it was pretty good. Kids waffles and chocochip pancakes were very good and my kids ate everything so that is a good review. :-) Barbacoa benedict: classic eggs Benedict with pulled pork. Nice tex mex take on this dish. Can't comment on the food since we did not get past the lobby, but restaurant was not able to accommodate 2 adults and 2 high chairs. Passed in wait multiple times due to as according to the hostess "I am trying to find a table for 2 high chairs". Even 15mins after being paged for a table. Utilized the waitlist on yelp and gave notice for need for 2 high chairs. Yes it was Sunday afternoon, but can not say this is child friendly restaurant if not able to accommodate 2 children who utilize high chairs. Will try again in future because food did look good. Fantastic food! You will not be let down. We had the pancakes with the lemon curd and the French toast. It was delicious. We also had the Million Dollar Bacon, I mean yum! I ordered the Farmhouse Hash, but asked for the eggs & their ingredients, not on top of the hash, but on the side. Simple right? Nope . INSTEAD of having the eggs mixed with its fixings and just not on top of the potato hash, I got cheese, bacon, avocado, etc. all in little cups! And the eggs were cold, how do you mix cold eggs and cold cheese? And they don't give or ask for choice of bread for toast, it's prebuttered and it's barely toasted, just like eating bread. Service was so-so, they can't record requests very well nor cooking staff figure out simple directions. Very flat falling, cold, hard to eat pricy meal. Super disappointing. I wish I could tell you about how good or bad the food was, but that's impossible because we weren't able to be seated. What is the point of having an app where you go online an hour before you want to eat and get in virtual line, and then arrive to the restaurant have to wait another 40 minutes? When we arrived at the restaurant we checked in and were told "your table will be ready- it could be any second but it might take a while because we have a 20 top ahead of you." Well that any second turned into 20 minutes. Then the host comes out informs us that it's going to be another 20 minutes at our table is ready. So altogether we waited an hour and 40 minutes and still have no table all this with a two-year-old in tote. I'm furious. To hell with this place. I personally like when ingredients are highlighted naturally instead of drenched in condiment and the food here delivered. The match pancakes concept was great but it didn't taste enough matcha-ey to me. I might just be a matcha snob so I'll let that pass. Now onto what SHOULD BE IMPROVED - I think it took like 40 minutes between the time we ordered and when we got our food. I'm not a restaurant expert but I'm pretty sure the overall table turnover time shouldn't be that long. It seemed to me that there were a lot of people waiting for a table, a lot of people waiting for the food and not enough staff to handle the demand.
