I've been here several times and staff is always friendly. Checked in using waitlist on a Friday morning but it wasn't necessary since there wasn't any wait. The dining area is bright and very clean. I ordered the Tri-athlete and it was very fresh and yummy. It came with pico-de-gallo which was a bit watery but still tasted great. The fruit accompanying it was a nice mix of pineapple and berries but a little warm due to it being served on a warm plate. Otherwise it was perfect. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. This place has always been great. Been to other branches in several states, always good and homey. We would come here to drink coffee and watch the weather honestly. Simple and comforting feels. I always enjoy my meal when coming to this place. We ordered the million dollar bacon which is always so good. I love the spice and sweetness mix of the bacon. It makes the perfect brunch appetizer. This place has consistently good (not great) food. I've been coming every since it switched from The Egg and I (which I liked better) years ago. The clean rustic interior evokes a warm farm house feeling. The usually hippy staff is consistently friendly and attentive in making suggestions when undecided, checking in on you and offering a to-go drink before heading out the door. I love pancakes - it's the only time I don't feel guilty about eating a flat cake for breakfast! I normally order plain multi-grain pancakes with whipped butter. That usually satisfies my pancake craving. I decided to try the Tri-Fecta today. It was ok, but will likely not order it again. The pancake was a bit dry and eggs and sausage came out cold. It took a little longer than usual to receive my food so I think it hung around the kitchen a bit longer that it should. I let my server know and she quickly brought out a replacement of eggs and sausage which were just perfect. The coffee is always great! I like plain black coffee without anything else in it. I enjoy hot bold coffee, especially on a cold morning. The overall experience is typically good and will visit when I'm in the mood for pancakes. The other dishes, especially the breakfast sandwiches, look really good too. Finally checked this place out. It's nice because you can make a reservation right from your phone before going over there. This place has an extensive brunch menu with many options that looked so good. It's smart because they ask if you want coffee right away. I was sad that they don't have any lattes or espresso drinks. It was jam packed on Sunday but since we only had 2 people they seated us right away. Fabulous! Ordered my favorite Avo Toast, excellent. Waiting time for food is about 15min, probably bc they were swamped so it's good to order as soon as you sit down. The bread is decent but could be a bit crispier. Eggs were great as well as the avocado. Server was very friendly and attentive. It is Kayla that I would like to recommend. I was out of water for 33 minutes while the waitress flirted and giggled forever at the next table. She gave us our check before I ever got water or our food. We still hadn't heard anything around 11:30 AM, so we asked again and they said our table would be ready in the next couple of minutes, because we were first on the waitlist. Checked in again like 20 minutes later and they said they couldn't find us on the waitlist anymore... We were seated about 10-15 minutes after the confusion. The saving grace of this place was the food and the portion size. I got a "2 for You" lunch for $8.99. I ordered a Monterey Club and a Cobb Salad. Both tasted so fresh and I loved the amount of greens, turkey, and bacon that were included in them. The "2 for You" is worth it for the price for the portion size you receive. The food made me forget about the awkward, long wait-time. The inside of First Watch is really cute with a farmhouse vibe and spacious , clean interior. I thought the staff was nice. The reason why I'm giving three stars is because the guy bussing the tables was cleaning so roughly in the booth behind my elderly father that he was shaking him in his seat! He is pleasant but incredibly slow and not attentive at all. The last 3 times i've been, my silverware and or glass ware is dirty with obvious stains. It was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. I chose the potatoes for my side. They didn't look to be seasoned, but they were actually well seasoned. The buttered toast and preserves were so good!
