Came here for Labor Day brunch with fam. Place was poppin and bustling. Great for groups. Food was absolutely delicious. Their million dollar bacon is sweet and savory, seasoned with maple syrup, pepper, and other spices. It's often my go to whenever I go to a first watch branch. Costs only $6.49 so they're actually operating at a $999,993.51 loss when they sell it to you. The chicken chipotle was on their seasonal menu. Gives you that sweet and savory flavor with a subtle kick of spice. Did feel it was a little too much hash though and could have been a little bit more crispy. Our server was great. She was attentive and quick to address our needs. The only reason I took off a star is because we joined the wait list on their site and it estimated 30-40 min but we ended up waiting over an hour for our table. Otherwise would have given them a 5.

Food is good, seating is tight, wait staff is on top of it, what is severely off is parking! It's horrible! If I'm wasting more money in gas trying to find a parking spot so I'm not parking by Target, & walking across crazy intersections to come to an establishment...I may go eat elsewhere. But I was with family. So, I sucked it up. Yes, I parked in the Target parking area & walked back over because the entire parking area was packed. Was the food THAT good? Um. No. It was ok. Will I return? No. That annoyed me. The other thing was the seating was so close the chairs were bumping one another. The people seated bumped, the children, the adults, us, them - everyone. It wasn't intentional & no one got ugly. It was just extremely cramped. For no reason. There was room for the tables to be spread out. It was badly planned. I felt horrible for the staff on top of it all. That's all the gripe'able stuff. I got French toast & bacon with orange juice & coffee. My cousin's got chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, & the Trifecta, chocolate milk, coffee & water. All with a tip came out to $65. (Tip was $10.45) So I guess you can judge based on the price. Worth it? ‍ Again, I'm sure I won't be back. It was okay. Just in my opinion, kinda stupid expensive for what we got. Seems to be very popular with people my cousins age. 30 somethings.

Omg I loooved the Cajun shrimp & grits. It was so perfect. The service was super accommodating since we asked for a different table and they let us move. Our waiter was on it! The place was clean and it wasn't packed on a Sunday morning like I thought it would be. There's not a lot of parking because it shares with a hotel and the pho house but there's plenty of parking across the street.

Morning of 4th of July we were a little worried we would have a wait.. thankfully we didn't! They got our party of 4 in right away. Everyone we came in touch with were very friendly. They do have a great menu. Lots of choices from a new Lemon Blueberry corn bread to Shrimp and Grits. Great lunch deal Choose 2 for $11.99 .. they have 5-6 1/2 sandwiches, 3-4 salads and 2 soups to choose from. I got the Roast beef with horseradish half sandwich- it was wonderful, stuffed to the brim, great touch melting cheese on outside of the bread. Also did the Honey Pecan chicken half salad with a light vinegar dressing. We all enjoyed our food. The issue was the dirty dishes. We were brought plates for the cornbread and mine still had food on it. Not just a little. My daughter's water cup had lip marks that were CLEAR.. someone with lipstick on had clearly used that glass. It made eating a little hard because every time something was brought out I would look at the plate or check the new cup to see if it was clean. The guy apologized but it didn't make that any better. Atmosphere was nice. Service good. Food was good but none of us ate much after seeing the dirty dishes and just worried. I don't see myself going back there. One dirty dish - mmm ... but a glass with clear lipstick marks... no.

Biscuits & Turkey Sausage Gravy with a small mixed fruit

First time to this place and the portions are large and tasteful. The gravy on the biscuit has a smoked taste plus the biscuit was very large. Also the fruit was all good none of it was bitter or sour. I got the small but large bowl of fruit is the size of the soup bowl. The sandwich is very filling stuffed with turkey, bacon, and greens. The soup was hearty. Looking around the plates are large and will fill you up. I also got a Lavender drink with Amsterdam vodka that itself was good. They brought it in a separate glass container with a small glass of ice. I filled my small glass three times so worth it. The atmosphere was nice and calming for the morning/ brunch. I would return on another day.

Been here several times now, by myself , with family and co-workers. It's a great place with lots of great food options. I have never been disappointed! Try their million dollar bacon! The waffle compote is delicious. And their options are always fresh! Coffee is pretty good too! Don't forget their special drink selection, you won't be disappointed, they are refreshing! Service is always quick, even if it takes a bit to be seated. You might wait about 30-60mins for a table. But they work pretty quickly. The environment is very friendly and clean!

Line is out the door but we were seated quickly. Their "lobby" is soo small and has two doors soo not many places to wait! Otherwise the waitress is nice and was fast and attentive. Food: I got a farm house hash and there was more hash (potatoes) than anything else. I think I seen 4 pieces of zucchini or mushroom but a lot of onion and potatoes. I was expecting a little more than just a taste of mushrooms or zucchini. Otherwise farmhouse vibes and cute decor. Very fast paced and quick to get you in and out

Wait time was about 20 min but what do you expect on a Saturday? Started with Blazing Dragon Power Drink : strawberry, lemon, cane sugar, and Dragon Fruit! Awesome! Salted Caramel Donut holes as an appetizer! YES PLEASE! Warm, sweet puffs of delight Farmhouse Skillet and an order of Breakfast tacos for me! Can't go wrong here. Everything is fresh and cooked to order.

Trifecta but with two pancakes instead of one.

Great food. Very filling. I had the trifecta with the blueberry pancake and chocolate pancake, over hard eggs and bacon. And let me tell you, the pancakes had crisp on the top. It was cooked very well. It wasn't soggy like other places I've been too. Definitely surpasses Cracker Barrel pancakes by far. The bacon was cooked crispy with a slight glaze of some sort. Haha off to the cook on that one. Now the eggs; I had them over hard and the eggs were very fluffy. Very different than the eggs I typically eat. Perhaps this is what real eggs taste like compared to store bought. The eggs had a high profile of like 10mm or so. The knife cuts well into the eggs making a distinct separation of how well these eggs were cooked. The atmosphere is chill. They had some indie pop music playing which is really nice. Our waitress was very kind when it came to ordering. She made some recommendations to hone down on what I really wanted. The pancakes are very filling that even I couldn't finish them and I typically have a large appetite. I highly recommend this place. This is place that I will continue to frequent because of how good the food was.

Had a short stay in San Antonio and a group of us (5) decided on First Watch for breakfast, which I love in Houston. I must say this First watch from an ambiance and decor perspective is much nicer than anyone I've been to back home. The service was great and every employee had a smile to offer. Our waitress although she never offered her name was an absolute pleasure, she was extremely efficient with our request. I ordered the Smoked Salmon omelette which I was weary of because....uhm who puts fish in eggs? She assured me it was great. I bet to differ, The omelette was incredible, the egg was cooked fluffy but not runny and pair beautifully with the flavor and tenderness of the salmon. Every bite warrant a moan of appreciation for how amazing this dish was. This will be my go to breakfast order at first watch from now on.

Love First Watch for breakfast. It's always amazing. Great service, clean & reasonably priced.

First Watch is one of my favorite brunch spots in town. Lately though, it's gone downhill quite a bit. My most recent visit with a friend was underwhelming. It wasn't busy but after the server took our drink order she returned a bit later and asked us if we were ready to order food before we ever got our drinks. The whole thing felt rushed. I ordered the florentine eggs Benedict and while it was served quickly, it was cold. And it did not have any avocado on it. They did bring me a tiny dish of sliced avocado once I was able to get a servers attention but it wasn't enough for the size of the bread. I really loved coming here but it's no longer at the top of my list for brunch. I hope things improve read more

The wait staff was friendly, but the food was meh. I ordered biscuits and gravy and was not impressed. The food is fine, but it seems very artificial. My wife had eggs, chicken sausage, and potatoes, and she also was unimpressed. I wish I had gone with the bananas foster pancakes, but I will likely not return. Clean restaurant, and pleasant staff, it's just the food that is mediocre. read more

Very much improved! Today we had a great experience beginning with our server who would ask "what would you like to drink love?" The affected British manners were charming and the follow through with refills and even ones to go was so appreciated. Guys my food was perfect, delivered so fast to the table, and the hand shaken pomegranate margarita was great! If you're looking for somewhere to get a nice Sunday brunch that doesn't break the bank then this is the place for you. They have many traditional breakfast options that'll make you say YUM! The service is very friendly and very attentive to the customer. I do recommend checking in advance through the online system otherwise you'll be waiting a while to get seated. On this occasion I ordered up their traditional breakfast and was very happy with my choice. The bacon was nice and crispy and the potatoes were seasoned exqusitely! What's the point of your pre line online if you aren't going to honor it. Trying a second branch in San Antonio Texas! This one in particular is located at Loft hotel's plaza, across from Target plaza. Parking can be difficult on a Sunday morning and you'll probably have to park further in the back of the building. Walking is good! It was jam packed on Sunday but we were seated right away the second time (parties of 2 or less always faster, and coming in before 09:30 will be much less crowded than after that. Tried Power bowl w chicken pesto. Amazing! Very healthy and tasty mix of vegetables, quinoa and chicken. My favorite order Avo Toast, also does not disappoint. The bread is decently crispy. Eggs were great as well as the avocado. Waiting time for food is about 10min. Servers are friendly and attentive. Checked on us at least twice during the entire meal. Will definitely come back again when I'm in town! Keep up the good work First Watch! read more

Service was great very respectful but there were groups that had she same amount of people as us, came after us, and still got sat first. Then, got my food tasted off but i let it slide. I had a little business meeting in the area and decided that lunch was in order. They serve breakfast all day and I have to admit their breakfasts are pretty good. I'm old school and I can't have breakfast for lunch so I ordered the Monterey club and the Chicken Avocado Chop salad. That was from the 2 for you portion of the menu. Which consists of half a sandwich and I'm guessing a small salad. My server was great! She made sure I had everything I wanted. The half sandwich was delicious, but I'm a sucker for sourdough bread. The salad was good but it's almost like there was no dressing on it at all. It was a good salad and I asked my server for some ranch dressing and everything was great. As far as ambiance well, there were tables and chairs and booths, I'm sure some pictures were hanging on the walls. I guess I'm trying to say that there's nothing that's going to make you say Wow! I have been to many First Watch, so it's become a personal favorite. I enjoy the reliable friendly service and a familiar menu. I was surprised to see a brunch drink menu - will definitely try it next time! Or food arrived in a timely manner and cooked as requested, but our orders were completely backwards. My entree and his sides, his entree with the wrong sides, and they forgot the English muffin. I'm easy to please, so switching wasnt hard, but everything arrived disjointed and just wrong. It was kind of awkward. I'm all for making the best of the space, but we were also at a small table right next to the kitchen, so it was a small space to perform the switcheroo's. When visiting my daughter I stopped by to treat my grandson to something healthier than fast food breakfast. He whined for the entire wait. Staff was very friendly even though they were short staffed everyone was attentive and polite. Restrooms were very clean. The restaurant itself was very nice. Homely feel to it. I had the turkey biscuit and sausage gravy with two eggs over easy and the million dollar potatoes. It was all very good and I highly recommend the million dollar potatoes. Price okay. We love First Watch, my husband and I. We visit this establishment at least every 2 weeks. Every time we have eaten there we never have been disappointed with our food. We go during the week so there is no waiting. If you go during the weekend expect to have a waiting time but the wait is will worth it. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

We go every weekend to this place. Always had great waitresses. This time around had a rude one. I didn't want to make a deal about it but as we were leaving she was sarcastic. Will make sure not to get this person again. She needs classes on how to be nice and how to serve ppl! Repotered her to the manager and I'm not done yet! Corporate will definitely be next. Facebook Instagram tiktok yep messed with the wrong person. We dropped 70 bucks there she got lucky she even got a tip! Managment needs a new waitress! Food was great service sucked. read more

Very disappointed. Asked for crispy bacon and over medium eggs. Pretty simple request. The eggs came back hard, and the bacon was absolutely nowhere near crispy. It was barely cooked. Returned it and decided not to have anything at all. I , will not return and do not recommend. read more

First-timer. Came with a group of six! The decor was beautiful and the service was great! However, the food and coffee were just OK! I ordered the Tri-Fecta. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a couple of ppl in your group receive their meal before others. If you're with a group, your food should come out together. read more

We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.

I feel like I am ar a big Spurs game with the sound bouncing around. Those at our table have had a hard time to have a conversation with each other at times. The small room up front is designed so sound bouncing off hard surfaces is worst in this room. I have had to ask to be relocated twice from this room due the sound level. The kitchen area in the front do not have doors to abd from the kitcgen to the dinibg rooms. Another design flaw, as a result the seating areas loud sound comes into the kitchen area. We are from another state. We chose this restaurant for breakfast. Added to the waiting list at 9:36. Was told there would be a 45 minute wait. Waited until 10:30 to check where we were on the list because people were getting sat before us that arrived 30 minutes after us. We were told it would be another hour for us to be sat even though that's what they were telling the new customers who walked through the door. We left. Complete waste of time. read more
