We were there for the soft opening on Saturday, and absolutely loved it. The place itself is very clean, with great decor, and a welcoming staff. The food was all amazing. Two of our party had the ham and gruyere sandwich with a bowl of tomato basil. The sandwich was grilled with lots of cheese, and ham piled high, and the bread never got soggy. The soup was the best tomato basil I've ever tasted. My husband tried the BLTE, also with the Tomato Basil soup, both of which he really enjoyed. The 4th member of our party went with breakfast, and got the Floridian French toast, which was French Toast topped with kiwi, bananas and other fruit. Syrup was given, but she really enjoyed the other topper, which was like a berry compote. The fruit was piled high. All the dishes were presented looking straight out of a magazine! One thing to note, this particular location does not have a liquor license, like many other locations. It also does not allow BYOB. Only waited about 10 to 15 minutes after our time, waitress came over after about five minutes, we gave our drink order and luckily gave our food order as well. Drinks came in about 15 minutes, the food did not arrive for about 45 minutes. As I looked around the restaurant I saw that nobody had food, waitress said they are too busy with takeout. There were six people in my party, two people got their French toast order, in my opinion it was from the freezer section of Walmart. And it was not hot. I'm not usually one to complain but this was insane. Ordered my food for 9:15 pick up didn't come out until 9:45. The portion for the farmhouse hash was so small. There was a scarce amount of almond butter on my toast. The granola on my super food bowl was chewy and soggy and the pudding itself had gotten warm. And the pancake I got was completely burnt and I couldn't even cut through it with a metal knife. read more

We didn't get to eat there because their all ahead & wait in line system sucks. we were told 45 minutes to an hour. we got there in 45 minutes and were told there would be 35-45 more minutes (and tables were open) so we left and drove to the diner down the street and by the time we were done eating we got a text saying our table is ready. Good food. Service is a little slow but with the pandemic craziness things can get difficult and I was in at a busy time. Got the eggs, corn, potato dish and it was delicious. And they serve everything on dirty plates and bowls. There was caked on food on the sides and edges on the bowls and plates. Unfortunately, though, when picking up a mobile order today the customer service we were met with was horrible. Our food took 25 minutes longer to be ready than the app had estimated. We both work in food service, and understand that these things happen but whilst waiting no employees approached us or gave us any indication that our order was being worked on. My boyfriend approached a waitress to ask about the order, and she simply walked away before he could even finish a sentence. We visited First Watch in Sewell for the first time on 1/7/24. Our son had been there the day before and loved it, so we decided to go for breakfast before he and his roommate headed back to college. The 5 of us got there around 10:30 and it was crowded. We were told a 45-minute wait, but you could see the staff cleaning and resetting tables quickly. We were sat in about 20 minutes. Our server was Desiree and she was amazing! So friendly, made great recommendations, and came by frequently to check in and see if we needed anything. We had the gingerbread mini donuts to share and they were a hit. The fresh coffee immediately on the table was perfect for my husband. I loved the Hibiscus citrus punch! Everyone had something different for their meal and everyone was pleased. The food was so good, so fresh and hot when it arrived. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere is also very nice. Absolutely horrible. Sat down at 12:15pm - 3 people, simple order. At 1:30pm still no food. Once they said "sorry the kitchen is backed up" all the while dozens of on line to go orders kept passing us by and going to the shelf to be picked up. I will never come back here again, I got there and was told the wait was 20 minutes max. Sat out front in 85 degree weather for 25 minutes, went back in to see how much longer and was told it was going to be another 25 minutes. When I said I had already waiting 25 minutes they had told me I was quoted the wrong wait time and instead of it being 15-20 minutes I should have been told 40minutes. Worst experience in my life, wasted my morning sweating in the heat when I could have been eating somewhere else in that time. Awful awful awful, I have wanted to come here for over a year and when I attempted to, this is what I experienced. Will never waste my time trying to eat here again. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and now I'm glad I did! Owner was attentive and informative. Had the Farmer's Skillet and it was delicious. Hubby had the Benedict - yum. Alot of food for decent price. Coffee came with a little pot - so you didn't have to wait for refills. We were there for breakfast, but owner says lunch menu is also available anytime...hubby added soup to his breakfast order! Many healthy choices also available. Everything seemed very fresh. Great place for brunch (if you're prepared)! We had a bigger party so we got in line online about an hour before we planned to get there. The wait said 1-2 hes and our table was ready in an hour! Servers were kind and accommodating while we waited for the rest of our party and our waitress was super sweet and attentive with good recommendations. The fruit bowls are a good fresh mix and everyone enjoyed their food. It's a busy environment but we didn't feel rushed. The eggs and chicken sausage are great, and the pumpkin pancake was AMAZING. Good portion sizes and very reasonable prices. Just expect a very busy atmosphere if it's peak brunch time, esp on weekends. (Re: covid protocol, the indoor dining space is roomy and the bathrooms are individuals. The major crowding happens near the door since that's where you check in and pay.
