I really loved First Watch. It's been on my list of breakfast places to try for a while but I kept putting it off. Thanks to my husband we went for breakfast and i've been back with a friend already! Depending the time of day there could be a bit of a wait as it gets busy, but if you're not in a hurry it's worth the wait. They have ample seating indoors and additional seating on a heated patio with about 10 or so tables. I had not so great service the first time I visited and great service during my most recent visit. Not sure if the server was new but she couldn't answer any of my menu questions and kinda forgot about us when we were ready to order and then forgot to bring our to go cups when we were ready to leave. On my last visit, our server knew everything about the menu, was patient as we changed our minds, and was very attentive throughout our visit. She was great (wish I had remembered her name) The Quinoa power bowl was awesome and a fast FAVE of mine. I ordered it both times, once with scrambled eggs and the next with poached. It was good both ways. Next on my list is the breakfast burrito. My husband doesn't usually like Belgian style waffles but really enjoyed it sayin it was light and flavorful. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes, she had the banana crunch pancakes and I also had the chickenchanga which was amazing and she had the traditional what she always gets. I would say First watch is a good place to grab breakfast or have a little bunch. I ordered the pancake meal, which came with bacon and eggs. I did order the million dollar bacon who was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend the million dollar bacon. I love the patio area very cute, but if you prefer to sit inside I love the natural light that flow into restaurant. My only issue was that me and my party waited like 50mins before our food to come out and my food was warm. Also make sure you ask about the coffee because the server will just pour into your coffee cup without telling that it isn't free, which I don't have a problem paying for anything but there's free coffee in the waiting area. Worth the wait! My friends and I were trying to decide where to go for brunch on Sunday and someone mentioned that they had heard of First Watch and when we looked they only had a 5 minute wait however, by the time we arrived it had gone up to 30. Since there was seating outside and it was a nice day we decided to wait it out. When they notified our table was ready we had already had a chance to look over the menus and think about what we wanted but our waiter was also very helpful with helping us with the final decisions. I ended up going with the Tri-fecta which includes 2 eggs any style, your choice of a Belgian waffle or multigrain pancake, and a choice of meat. At first I was skeptical about the multigrain pancake but it was actually so good I couldn't even tell it was multigrain unless I read it. Another aspect that I loved was that when you order coffee it comes with a carafe so you are able to refill as much as you want! Overall it was a great experience and our waiter was amazing. Food: the food was decent, though nothing to write home about. I would have sent it back if it had not been nearly 45 minutes to get the food, and we not been starving. I regretted not going to Silver Skillet, or even IHOP. Even thoughIt appeared the current management haphazardly assigns tables for it's wait staff to take care of - as I saw staff running across the building trying to keep tables happy - she was attentive, friendly, and doing her absolute best. She even was happy to comp my cold breakfast to let me know she hoped I would give them a second chance another time. However, not all the staff seemed to have the same customer diffused ethic. I saw numerous other staff hiding by the beverage station chatting or on their phones as tables waited for refills. And one woman - appeared to be an assistant manager? - was seen (and heard) by my boyfriend and I berating a server on the floor. Not cool. Dangerous conditions and horrible service. This place is a danger to its customers and society. Absolutely no social distancing or proper mask wearing. They have three tables in the small hostess stand area alone! I wouldn't sit there even before COVID. I came just for a pickup order. Even the small foyer area was packed with 12 people and three tables (two of which were seated). Once I finally got to the host stand, my order still was not ready despite being 10 mins after the quoted time. I went outside and waited 15 more minutes due to the dangerous conditions inside. When I went back to check, it still wasnt ready. I asked if I could wait outside and I'd they'd let me know when it was ready. They said if I chose to wait outside I wouldn't know when it was ready and they wouldn't let me know. Even worse, they refused to even say when it would be ready! This location, next door to Little Azio, is clean, comfortable, and casual. The restaurant has plenty of seating which includes an enclosed outdoor patio. Reservations are not accepted. It's first-come, first-served, though you may want to give them a heads up if you have a large party. Free Wi-Fi is available. The restaurant serves traditional American breakfast items like eggs, bacon, sausage, and biscuits and gravy. They also offer a variety of omelets, egg-centric plates (e.g. eggs Benedict, egg-filled crepes), pancakes, waffles, French toast, and healthy stuff like quinoa bowls, organic yogurt, oatmeal, granola, and dishes made with egg whites or cholesterol and fat-free eggs. The hash entrees are dense, hearty, and filling, particularly the Parma Hash with its savory chunks of Italian sausage. The hash entrees are brought fresh and hot out of the kitchen, steaming with melted cheese and all. The melted cheese over the chopped and roasted potatoes is indeed tasty. However, I've found the hash to generally be a little salty and oily. The quinoa bowls come packed with a generous portion of nutritious quinoa and sliced, tender chicken breast. There's a bit too much sauce for my liking, but overall, the quinoa bowls are a satisfying and relatively healthy alternative. I've also tried a couple different pancakes. The pancakes are multigrain and come in about 10 different flavors such as chocolate chip, banana granola crunch, wheat germ, and cranberry nut. I've had the blueberry and the lemon ricotta. The pancakes are nice and big (wide). The blueberry pancake is OK. Not a whole lot of blueberries, but it's fine. The lemon ricotta was a seasonal special. Ricotta cheese was added to the pancake batter and the pancakes were served with strawberries and a lemon curd. I wasn't a huge fan of this pancake because the lemon curd was slightly bitter. Simple presentation on all dishes. Service is great. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Dishes come out from the kitchen in a reasonable amount of time. When you're ready to pay, just take your ticket to the register. Parking can get cramped in the shopping center, but most of the time, it's not a problem. read more

The plastic fork was too flimsy for the food so it made it pretty difficult to eat. I was extremely irritated by this. Maybe I was being sensitive, but my experience was lessened by this. The was my first visit to FW along with my other family. I can say that this place is phenomenal in every way. From our server, to the food, just everything. There were 6 of us and our lunch came out in decent timing. To nameOur drinks, Morning meditation, kale tonic, and blue blast were so refreshing. Avocado toast was perfect. AM Açaí Bowl was amazing. Worst Watch! The food was cold and the service was nonexistent, horrible. We have been coming to this first watch for a number of years and the service and food quality have slowly been declining. As of today the service and food quality are completely unacceptable. After waiting almost 45 minutes for a table, once our food came out it was ice cold. The food was sent back and after waiting nearly another 45 minutes with numerous conversations with the manager, we just decided to leave without food. You can save yourself a huge headache and dine elsewhere. This will go down as one of the worst breakfast experiences of all times. Besides it's been a long while since I've sat in a restaurant to have breakfast which is one of my all time favorite meals to enjoy in a restaurant setting. The ladies ordered your norm breakfast consisting of eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, and toast on multi grain. They loved it. Hit the spot. I ordered their bagel topped with cream cheese, arugula, pickled red onions, and salmon. The combined flavors of the toppings were delicious with really good fresh flavor. Me I like a good bagel toasted with lox and such and this was just as good if not better! Decaf black cup was hot and good. Great staff, great food, and we'll be back! read more

They have flavored coffee creamer -- which oddly enough is not even a thing at most places AND they will warm your syrup without asking. Kudos. My four start rating is just a special and wait thing. I know places get busy as I work in the service industry but they are always rude. Pickup orders say they'll take 10-15 minutes and end up taking over an hour most of the time! I wouldn't mind that if they had accurate times on the website and were nice about it but you'll go in and they'll ask if you can see any on the pickup shelf! Nice little place; I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I saw "Smoked Brisket Hash" on the menu (and I saw it immediately--it's a super power), I knew what I was getting. The brisket was tender; I wanted to taste more of a smokey flavor, though. It wasn't bland, just wasn't very smokey for a dish whose name includes the word "smoked." The potatoes were well seasoned, the eggs had a nice runny yolk just the way I like it. The English muffins, strawberry preserves, and fresh fruit that also came with the order were good. The grapes were deliciously sweet and I wondered where they bought them. There were also more grapes than honeydew which I appreciated. I get annoyed when there's 18 pieces of honeydew and then one grape and half a strawberry. The dish could have been a bit hotter so I wondered if it was freshly made or if it had been sitting for a few minutes. The order came in a reasonable amount of time, so I don't think it was sitting. Of course the eggs had to be made to order so I guess they could have warmed the brisket more. I also ordered a carrot cake pancake. Huge pancake (it took up the entire plate). I wanted it to be a little fluffier but the flavor was great (not too sweet, like actual cake, but just enough to make it taste like you're having a treat for breakfast). The place is clean, the waiters are very friendly and don't bug you ever 30 seconds. Our waitress checked on us four times which was plenty (once for drink orders, then to get our orders, then to make sure we were enjoying our food, then for the check). She also gave good advice for how to have eggs cooked for a to-go order since they wouldn't be eaten immediately (scrambled, of course). I saw a few more things on the menu that I wanted to try, like a couple of other hashes (there's a has section!) and one or two fresh drinks (one was, I think some kind of pineapple ginger concoction). Reasonable prices, good food, comfortable environment. I'd really like to give this place 3.5 stars since I wanted my food hotter and my meat smokier. 3 stars is too few, however, so 4 it is. I have generally been here for breakfast and its a great place. The service you get is amazing.A few times I have been here, eating all-by myself but that doesn't change the quality of service. The servers are nice and kind and you always feel you were well taken care of, specially Fountain, she is the sweetest ever, makes an effort to talk to you and tries to make the breakfast, a happy experience. The food is great too. I don't eat meat so the two things that I have tried are the avocado toast and the veggie omelette and both these dishes are really fresh and flavorful. This was a neat little place that I decided to try out since I was in the area. I imagine this place can get jammed packed on the weekend and especially since they close at 3 o'clock. I read the disclaimer that stated ordering two would be a serious feat, but I didn't take heed to the warning and ended up regretting it halfway thru my meal. The pancakes were delicious, however them being multigrain might have caused them to absorb a lot of the syrup. Because of that, you might have the tendency to use a lot more syrup than usual. I mean honestly, if you ordered the pancakes, you're probably not concerned with watching your carbs at that point. The pork sausage was very delicious and tasted like it was freshly prepared, however I think the cost for the million dollar bacon was just not worth it. It's literally just a side of bacon drizzled with some maple syrup. You can easily order a side of bacon and pour some maple syrup over it yourself for half the cost. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever encountered. The allotted to be seated we were informed 45 minute wait which turned almost two hours. After being seated we were greeted by a disgruntled staff member in which it felt like they didn't want to be there. After putting in our orders, it took another 45 minutes for our meal to arrive at our table. In which to my dismay the food was already cold upon its advent. When I took it upon myself to speak with our server about the lack of service and the poor quality of the food, he merely replied to me with an incredulous amount of sass. He asked me what to do, since it's already cold, does the manager have to get involved ? I have ran several restaurants as GM and I even worked in management at Chick-fil-a and this is appalling to experience. I understand the nuances and hardships that may incur during a lunch rush and the challenges that arise while in the service industry. However that is no excuse for poor service and lack of remorse. It is imperative to make sure the guests are heard and there is some type of reconciliation in that the guests still feel appreciated. It is unfortunate that I will not return to this establishment. First time ordering delivery from First Watch for my husband's birthday breakfast. Overall, it's a over priced. As you can see from the photos most of the dishes are filled with the potato hash. There aren't enough eggs. And i think we got about a bacon and a half for each dish. We ordered the French toast and Belgium waffle as well. You're paying about $11-13 for small portion with no additional side of anything. Other than the over priced menu and lack of portion size other than stuffing yourself with potatoes, the food was tasty and did make my husband's bday morning. Any other day I would have given them a 3.5 but I'm being very nice and giving them 4 stars. read more

I've eaten at this First Watch a couple times before and had a good experience and great food. With that, I picked this location for lunch with a coworker. This was a weekday, and the restaurant was moderately busy (no wait) and there seemed to be plenty of servers. Despite that, our order took what seemed like FOREVER to come to the table, and the server seemed completely disinterested in taking care of us. For the price, the meal I got was not worth it. It was one of their summer specials, the loaded smoked salmon bagel. The bagel itself was very small (maybe 4" diameter) and they really scrimped on the cream cheese and salmon. There wasn't even enough of either one to cover the bagel. It was overflowing with arugula and pickled onions though...so much so that it was hard to eat. I really should have sent it back, but considering it took nearly 30 minutes to get, and I had limited time, I ate it. As soon as our server dropped off our food, he set down the check and said "when you're ready to leave, pay at the cashier". Cashier saw us waiting to pay (socially distanced), and took three other people ahead of us who were bold enough to get right up on the register without any face coverings. She was unprofessional; talking loudly to coworkers while she rang people out. The whole place seemed like a crazy mess with no one leading the operation. With COVID restrictions, I don't eat out nearly as much as I used to and when I do, it's for a special reason. I do go armed with patience and grace but the crew here tested that. One of the best breakfast restaurants I've been to! The host accurately estimated the wait time for a table, and the server came a couple of minutes later. Our orders came out in a reasonable amount of time, and all of our items were done to perfection! Our party sampled each other's order, and agreed that it was very good! The size of the pancake was just right. If you're extremely hungry, order two. Otherwise, always order one. The best part of our experience was that there was no pressure for us to leave after the restaurant closed at 2:30. That allowed us to reminisce about our meals, and make out an itinerary for the rest of the day. I'll definitely be back there soon! read more

I also ordered a side of cheese grits. The cheese grits remained piping hot the entire time. The French toast comes with a raspberry compote, I liked it but didn't love it.
