My boyfriend and I were on our way to the Wellington location, so we figured we would do the "get in line" option online. The wait time said 15-20 minutes, so we showed up right around that time. When we get to the counter, the girl running the counter said we had two tables ahead of us and it would be about 5 more minutes which was great. We stood there for another 10-15 minutes and saw plenty of other tables seated before us, so we asked another girl about our reservation only to find out they never checked us in and we had 4 other tables in front of us. I've been here a few times now and it really isn't as good as many people make it out to be... The service is pretty mediocre for being a nicer breakfast/brunch dining restaurant and the consistency isn't there for any parts of it. I've ordered the same thing every time I've been there and each time there has been an issue with my plate coming out (shouldn't be too hard to mess up one of the easiest platters on the whole menu)! I personally think the management needs to step up because there should be no reason that their ticket times should be as long as they are or the food should be coming out wrong consistently or not with every part of the meal. Motivate your servers and cooks to do better! read more

Don't ask why I haven't made an earlier visit, but it was worth the wait. I popped in for brunch the other day and had the french toast monte cristo sandwich. The french toast was layered with turkey, ham, swiss cheese, and dijonnaise sauce and topped with powered sug-ah. The side was diced potatoes. Everything was delicious. Plus, there is a free pot of coffee on the table to enjoy with the food. Holla! This visit does come with a gripe, which was the waitress was outside trying to get a hold of FPL since the power went out during the storm while we were dining there and didn't come check on us until we ate our meal. It took a while for the food to come out too. The other staff members were getting the food out to other customers. When it came time for the bill to come, our waitress said it was on the house since she couldn't ring anything up due to the power being out. I'm not sure if it was because she was outside the whole time on the phone as well and I'm glad we didn't have to point that out to her. However, we didn't have an issue paying for our meal in the first place since we understood while it was generous of her to do that and I will definitely pop in again to try some of the other items on the menu. read more

I was just here for breakfast. The bad service from our server is why I gave the 3 star rating. I just erased from this review about 4 paragraphs on why specifically our server was so bad, but you know what I don't have to explain, the server Shauna just has a bad attitude. She was flippant, arrogant and rude. You can tell she hates her job or maybe even her life. I don't know and I really don't care why she acts like this, but if I owned this restaurant I would care that customers feel this way leaving my establishment. First Watch sent me a card to use for 2 meals based on my previous terrible experience, I finally got the chance to go back. We went for lunch. Service decent, but still quite slow, and we had to ask for refills, she never checked on us, we had to wave her down. I ordered the Monterey Club, it was not very good at all. The chicken was very chewy. I also got a soup and salad, both were decent. My husband got the Reuben with a salad. He enjoyed his sandwich, but both of us left there still hungry. When we went to check out, I handed the manager the gift card that was provided, it stated 2 meals and Yelp experience on it. He just looked at it, asked who had given to me and then charged me for my soup ($5.29). I would think that him knowing that my visit was due to a prior issue, he would have inquired about the meal and our experience. He didn't say a word. My daughter and I decided to go to First Watch for breakfast today 11/19/23 a little before noon. Customer service was absolutely horrible. The host got an attitude after I told him I did not want to sit at a table in the center of the restaurant. His attitude thereafter was very dry and rude. I asked to be seated outside, which he sat us down and tossed the menus on the table. I really didn't appreciate this service in front of my 11 yr old who noticed his attitude as well. I asked if he was okay or upset because I my statement earlier regarding the table in center of restaurant. He stated he brushes stuff like that off (very hard to tell given the service he was providing). After waiting some time with no greetings from anyone a family was sat next to us. I can immediately tell the difference in service they were given compared to my daughter and I. Our menus were just thrown on the table and no additional conversation. Still waiting for our waiter (that never came to the table). The family next to us was promptly greeted and asked for their drink order. I asked the waitress how is it they are getting serviced before us? She stated with an attitude that is not my table! I said but we've been sitting here longer then this family and no one has come to greet us. Again with horrible, rude attitude, I'll get your waiter! No apologies, or anything. We left immediately after this interaction as I refuse to be given piss poor customer service and I'm spending my money. I would hate to think because we were minorities we were treated this way. But it seems as though the people who looked like them were given 5 star treatment. We went over to Keke's Breakfast Cafe and were greeted with employees who actually love their job. The food was fantastic and my waiter was delightful. Thank you First Watch for allowing us to have a wonderful experience at Keke's which is located just around the corner from this place in the same plaza. This place was sooo trash. I couldn't believe it. I haven't been here in a year or so. We got there super early Sunday, around 8:15 am beat the breakfast crowd. We sat outside, we got greeted by our server who seemed swamped with tables, he greeted us with DIRTY COFFEE MUGS. Ok that's fine let it slide we weren't having hot coffee anyways. We ordered to start 2 squash soups (don't judge we hardly get to eat them lol), an iced coffee, a carrot juice, French toast, truffle egg special and an egg sandwich. We received our drinks, waited about 10-15 mins for our soups. Started looking around and then the waiter came out and said "since I forgot your soups here's some free drinks" meanwhile our drinks were completely full. Brought out the soup, they were good. Shortly after our food was brought out, before the waitress even set down our French toast we noticed a huge hair baked into the bread, we sent it back. The brought out another, with a ANOTHER PIECE OF HAIR. at this point we were so disgusted, none of us ate our food. The waiter never came to check on us, so I had to go inside I spoke to the hostess and asked the manager, met with a blank stare lol. 5 mins later still no manager, waiter comes out unaware of anything happening. I asked him again to speak to the manager, he said ok and about another 5 mins go by THE CHEF COMES OUT WITH HIS APRON ON LOL. & says he's ganna comp the French toast, not even the whole meal. Really disappointed with the service at First Watch. When i sat down to order, my orange juice cup had LIPSTICK ON IT. then when my tri-fecta came my bacon was overcooked. So overcooked that u could press on it and it would break into smaller pieces. Lastly, you have to make a line just to pay. Most places you just pay at your table, but here u have to pay in the front and if there's a line of incoming guest, prepare to wait. Also was charged full price for everything, not even a discount offered after repeated mistakes on their end (my waitress was aware of.) Really hope First Watch steps their game up. read more

I use to go to keke's religiously, until one day it was super packed. I looked up other breakfast spots and I stumbled across first watch. Walking in made you feel at home, on the menu they have such an amazing comfort selection, they also have an excellent healthier side to, which makes it the perfect spot for all walks of life. When I say the food is absolutely amazing I still feel as if that description is an insult. I've been to so many breakfast spots I've lost count, and hands down first watch without a doubt, reins supreme! On top of iall that delicious food the service is top notch and can't be compared to and other breakfast spot. As this is a popular place there was a line. Tables were available to sit guests but they still needed to be cleared. They could sit guests much quicker if they had a team of personnel dedicated to busing tables. The quicker tables are cleared, the quicker guests can sit and eat. Just my .02. The food was good. The service could use some work. The staff seemed under manned. Only periodically did I see a server come out to clear a table. Our server was nice but she was over whelmed.
