First watch for being a chain is consistently good. I have always enjoyed breakfast so this is a bit of an easy sell for me. I don't want something so healthy though that I am going to feel like I went to a health bar; I like a hardy make you feel good kind of meal. My hubs had tried the French toast and it was excellent! Berries on the side so you could add as much as you want and indulge in this yummy sweet dish. I love the skillets. When we went they were out of goat cheese so I had been told they would sub feta which was fine but would have preferred the goat cheese. I like that they offer lots of options and the price point is fair. Worth the stop! read more

I may not be the best kind of reviewer for this type of breakfast place. I'm not exactly the healthiest of eaters,but on occasion that I am,I would at least like to feel a little full after I eat.We ordered the million dollar bacon.Four slices , which were very good,but expected it to be a little thicker.My wife had some sort of mushroom omelet ,which looked very good,she loved it.My sons had the vanilla chai latte pancakes,and the banana granola pancake and scrambled eggs.If you make an OK sign with you hand,the circle your thumb and pointer finger make,was the size of his scrambled eggs.. I ordered the salmon Benedict. Very small,with little salmon,and what looked like hen eggs,over very easy.Since I was still a little hungry after I was done,first btw.,I tasted both the pancakes.I did not care for either one,especially,the granola part of the pancake.Not my thing.I would rather have a pancake with a granola. Today me & my family came in for bunch a party of 9. I was the first to order! My food came out wrong only received pancakes which was wrong. I order skillet hash with an order of two banana church pancakes. My order came out wrong 3 times! My whole family have ate and I'm the only one at the table haven't ate! This location isn't very big so there usually a wait on weekends; because of this, they offer coffee that you can drink while waiting around which is a great thing. More breakfast places should offer that. I've gone several times and the food has been consistently good. Friendly service too! read more

I usually love First Watch, but this location and the servers are a hot mess. I went twice this week and both times were very disappointing. Save your time & go to Keke's around the corner. On our first time our waitress asked us SO MANY times "are you ready to order", when we were clearing catching up with each other. It would of been nicer to be asked if we "had any questions" about the menu or if we were maybe told about the specials / given recommendations on the menu. My food came out lacking a key ingredient and looked sloppy compared to anytime I ordered it on the West coast. The 2nd trip was even worse. I was not greeted for well over 5mins and while I sat there I watched multiple servers just milling around. At any restaurant I've worked at, when you have no work & your coworker needs help - you help them. The rest were in the back yelling about side work being done. At that point I realized it wasn't worth my time. I went to Keke's and had an awesome attentive server. I will only visit my West coast First Watch locations from here on. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This morning we visited first watch with our 18month old for breakfast. High chair was filthy, server was rushing/inattentive, my food was terrible (was given salad although I ordered home fries, home fries came out cold/undercooked, omelette had nasty sundried tomatoes which I hate). My server didn't check on us once to see if the food was ok. When my server dropped the check, I told him about the food being bad and he never offered to adjust the tab. Either way I place an order for pick up and I have to wait 30-45 additional minutes past the promised time. That's not fair to me or my family. They do have a small outdoor seating area in addition to the ample dining room. The early bird gets the worm, so get here early. I like their pancakes with chopped pecans. Juices blends are available. Toast is on excellent multigrain bread (also available in loaf form to-go). Food is always freshly prepared and correctly cooked to order. Dining room recently updated/renovated with farmhouse industrial chic. Only criticism are the prices are on the high side for breakfast, but you do get what you pay for. A local favorite. This place is always busy on a Sat and Sun for breakfast. I love that they have a complimentary coffee area to make coffee while you wait. Atmosphere is nice and lively and well kept. Food options are versatile and prices are average, however they charge you for coffee at the table, $2.69 per person. They should warn you beforehand rather than pouring it for you making you feel like it's complimentary. Our food took about 25 min to come out though. After my first visit, I left Unsatisfied and unwilling to return. I received an email from a manager offering to have me come back. So I did. At first the table had milk on it (oversight by the cleaning staff) then the coffee cup had lipstick on it (it happens!). I had a delightful waitress! Very kind and kept checking on us. My friend got avocado toast and loved it and I got smoked salmon omelette. It was very good. Fresh fruit was delicious and the coffee was good. Our waiter was prompt & friendly. Another star. The choices were plenty & HEALTHY! Star, star, double star! It took just a little long for our order, but we were offered a free green healthy drink to try, & actually it was really good! There were 3 of us & we all devoured our food. "The wait is 15-20 minutes" Try 40. Ordered our food which included Million Dollar Bacon. Food took about 35 minutes. When they brought it out, no bacon. When we reminded them, the food runner simply said "we're out of it, I can get you regular bacon" "But ordered it 40 minutes minutes ago" (Why are you still selling items that have been 86'd? Even if a mistake was made, why not come to the table and let us and offer a replacement? Why are we waiting until the customer notices that it's missing?) As we're annoyed but reasonably settling for regular bacon, I open my silverware which has dried food and grease all over it. We're in the middle of a pandemic. Is this an actual joke? He takes one bite of his potatoes, and not only are they cold, they're practically raw. You're telling me it took 35 minutes to undercook potatoes? It took 35 minutes to tell us what we ordered wouldn't be coming? Would you like us to go in the back and help your staff cook? We never took one bite of our meal besides the undercooked potatoes, and let the manager know that our waitress was fine, but that we'd be leaving without paying. We hadn't even ordered drinks because we had already brought Whole Foods coffee with us, so she basically only had taken our order. To the manager, it's the cooks and it's the runners. And lack of communication around the whole establishment. Get your teamwork together. Entire staff must have been flustered and unprepared for a normal Sunday morning, management may have something to do with lack of preparation read more

Not the first time I've had a service issue here so time to write my first 1 star review. Came in with a party of 5 including 2 kids and a 1 1/2 year old. Restaurant was maybe half full with booths open. Requested a booth with a booster seat and host told me "it will be just a few minutes". No problem. For the first 10 mins we watched party after party come in after us and get seated. For the next 10 mins we sat there as the only party waiting in the lobby and multiple staff members just completely ignored is. After 20 mins we left. After 30 minutes we got a text that our table was ready while we were already seated at a restaurant nearby. I understand why waits happen at restaurants but good service is letting the customer know upfront and at least checking in with them if it's longer than what was promised. Especially if they're waiting there with a baby. It's not like there was a crowd of people also waiting, we were mostly alone in in the lobby for most of the wait. No thanks. read more

Love the fact you can check in online to reduce your wait time to be seated. That in itself can be a reason to go there. You can wait comfortably at your house instead of in their lobby. Their breakfast is pretty solid. I wouldn't say our family had anything wrong with our food, but at the same time nothing super special to get their breakfast over others. I did really enjoy the Million Dollar Bacon. It's four slices of hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. Despite the off putting answer I still waited over 30 min in an almost empty restaurant (they were closing in about 40 minutes) Instead of any of the 4/5 people standing at the desk check on my food they just proceeded to stand there talking until I had to leave .. very disappointing read more
