They never cook the egg right. Whenever i order something with a fried egg, the yolk is always runny, and sometimes undercooked. The last egg i ordered there was a clear gooey substance coming out of the egg; i could only assume that it was undercooked (or un-cooked!) egg. They also never season their skillets correctly and its either too salty or not salty enough. I know thats specific, but a friend of mine's skillet was so salty she couldn't even eat it. Not to mention the long wait times! There are honestly better breakfast/brunch places to eat at. read more

As per the included picture, there's a lot going on at our table. My brother and I tend to come here whenever we want to communicate together for breakfast and exchange our relative gossips and the detail of our lives and we'll end up cording much of the seasonal menu items so that we could be sure to try all of the new tastes and aromas. Jared, my brother, ends up getting the trifecta, the million dollar bacon, and usually a kale tonic drink. I try to vary my palette and try new things each time but I have done numerous items on the menu and we're always getting multiple items for we have voracious appetites and are very physical men but first watch always appeases us. Its a pretty place and the chefs know what they're doing. I don't think in the many years I've been coming to this particular installation that we have had any negative experiences. I've been here a bunch with so many different friends and family and its always a delight. Get the drinks, get the million dollar bacon, its simply a candied bacon with chives or something but its always a treat. I've been to First Watch restaurants throughout Florida, and am bummed that the new one, nearest home, is so bad. I've been 3 times, and each time they've struggled with serving hot food. This was by far the worst experience. The Bacado omelet was room temperature, and overcooked (rubbery). Service was very slow to check back and see how things were after bringing my order so I just ate half of my breakfast in order to get out as quickly as possible. Third time is definitely NOT the charm. It's unfortunate, but I won't return to this location. read more

I'm a regular customer here at First Watch I would like to share my experience this morning today. Every time I come in the morning I feel very welcomed and the servers are outstanding every time my visit. I always order 2 for you - roast beef and havarti and any of the soup today. But, I decided to switch it up and get a Eggs Benedict classic with seasoned potatoes. The food is always delicious !! First time trying the eggs Benedict I'm happy to have tried it. The morning meditation and kale tonic are amazing drinks please try them if you haven't ! ! The food is always fast and served well. The customer service from the servers are just as amazing. We have been going to First Watch for ten years. In those years they have changed the menu to give less food for more money. I ordered the Mediterranean Farro/Quinoa bowl that is now on the additional menu. It was mostly white rice which is not mentioned and very little farro. The sliced chicken was a very small amount. The bowl was only 1/3 full. My husband loves the breakfast tacos. It is very flavorful and a large portion. The pork omelette on the smaller seasonal menu is also very good and plentiful although it doesn't come with toast like all the other omelettes on the main menu. I love First Watch! Generally, the food is always consistently good quality and very fresh. The service is great, whether you are dining in or picking up a to go order. Our only "watch out" is to avoid ordering for pick up on a holiday (when they are open) - each time we've done that the order is not ready when it's supposed to be and the food quality is not as good. read more

My family's favorite breakfast spot! Centrally located in Wesley Chapel near Wiregrass Mall and SR 56. Conveniently located near my home. Whenever company comes in from out of town we always make a trip to this location. Their menu is farm house fresh. Lots of healthy options to choose from as well as some indulgent treats! Like their pancakes, waffles, and key lime French toast to name a few. My kids love their chocolate chip pancakes. I really like it when restaurants have kid friendly options that give a good serving size and don't break the bank. First watch always delivers! If you've never been to first watch definitely try their pancakes. My favorite is the banana crunch (fresh bananas and granola). They also have seasonal flavors like carrot cake and pumpkin pie! I've tried almost everything on the menu. I've never been disappointed. They are only open daily from 7am to 2pm so go early if you can. If you're looking to come here for a brunch I would highly recommend that you check in through Yelp. It's a great way to save your spot. We were looking at an hour away prior to coming to the restaurant. But once we checked in the wait was only about 30 minutes. The food is very fresh and pretty reasonable reasonably priced. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience here. Team, it might get busy, just don't forget a customer's order items. (Forgot the bacon and did not make the eggs correctly.) I was left waiting about 8-10ish minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. That's fine but if you're going to make a customer wait, make sure their order is correct and complete before giving it to them. Also, it's probably best to put the lid on a customer's drink so it doesn't spill all over their car. I'm probably never ordering from this location ever again. read more

In fact, I completely wrote off the chain altogether until I was coming home from a camping trip with my son and we stopped by a different First Watch because there were no other options. I could not believe how good it was and how nice the staff was. The experience was night and day from this one. I tend to order my eggs well done and bacon crispy. I guess I just like to make sure everything is dead before I eat it. Well, every time it comes back black. I honestly didn't know you could burn eggs that badly. We have been here quite a bit lately. First watch sun club has great coupons going straight to your email box. We can simply just email the coupon back to them every time we visit. It's convenient. How many people have printers to print their coupons now a days. The front people r so nice and welcoming and know us now since we keep coming back. We have a favorite server now that we always ask for. Her name is amanda. She is upbeat, helpful, & works so hard at making sure all is well. Our food is very tasty. Right now I am stuck on the seasonal special harvest hash w mushrooms, zucchini, turkey sausage sweet potatoes w egg on top and hollandaise sauce. Salad on side. If u want toast it's extra. U don't need it. It's tasty and filling enough. Don't forget their new iced coffee. It's great. My husband always gets the Parma hash and is always happy. I get the same thing most of the time, but try to change it up when there's a seasonal special that sounds good to me. I get the Parma hash pretty often. It's good because I like skillets and this is it. We use the no wait app, and we do not wait long at all. It is a lifesaver. I wouldn't want to come here and wait at least 30 minutes. We were seated quickly, with a pitcher of coffee and a broad selection on the menu. I was visiting some old friends that live nearby and this is one of their favorite breakfast spots. The seating is nice and open. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Based on the waitress's recommendation I had the frittata with goat cheese. It was nicely flavored, but a little heavy on the cheese. The hashbrowns were bland and not crispy. I am very picky with hashbrowns and would have substituted something if I was paying attention when I placed my order. The coffee was decent and plentiful. The waitress offered to split our check. We didn't split the bill, but I always appreciate it when they ask. For a sweet treat, we split a banana, granola and chocolate chip pancake. It was huge and the three of only ate half, but took the rest to go. This was another great suggestion by our waitress. read more

I have been back twice since my last review and ordered the Avocado Toast both times. Depending on the server and what you are substituting, substitutions are allowed with extra cost. The actual Avocado Toast is delicious! I love First Watch's bread, and it seems like they put a whole avocado one each slice. However, that in addition to two eggs does not warrant $8.49 in my book. Honestly it was the best breakfast we've ever had! "Farm to fork" they said and it's so true. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband said the flavors in his "chickichanga" were awesome and even stated it was a "party in his mouth!" My "bacado" omelet was perfection. Bacon, avocado and cheese wrapped in egg whites (my only change), topped with fresh Pico and sour cream? ...oh my!!! And the fresh artisan bread with homemade preserves was the perfect complement.
