Loved the food from here, and I got it delivered to my hotel. I got the spicy oil tossed fish with noodles. I got some mushroom and fish add ons and they made this dish fantastic. No broth to speak off, but had a little kick and was flavorful. I also got the coconut balls and my goodness these are fantastic fried dough balls with coconut milk and some sago inside. Highly recommend, get these! I also got the spicy crispy fried pork skin and it got a little soggy in the packaging, but was still delicious. My husband and I LOVE Fish With You, we tried it the first time in the San Diego location. We recently moved to Las Vegas and were so happy that they had a location here! We got the Laotan Sauerkraut with Black Fish (extra fish) which is the same dish we got in San Diego. Laotan Sauerkraut with Black Fish (extra fish) - We got the 2 person portion, and it was perfect for us! The first time we had it, we wished that we got extra fish, so we did this time around. They were super generous with the portion of fish, and honestly, the fish here might be one of the best fish I have ever had. It is SO tender (probably a fattier fish) and flaky. The sour soup complimented the fattiness of the fish, and it comes with 4 toppings that are included. We got the vermicelli noodles, tofu, cabbage, and bean curd. Pork appetizer & some other items on menu plus the combination soup that I got last visit is not longer available, rice is not free or unlimited. Woo helped me the same wait staff that helped me last time was being difficult, I guess it's the language barrier, but everything was fine after we got our soup & bowls of rice. $2. Per order. Went with the new set special soup this time came with veggies & meat with choice of broth. I went with tomato this time since the hubby doesn't care for the peppercorn in the sauerkraut soup. Love that there's a mainland Chinese franchise here in Vegas and I was excited to try it. The space was clean, spacious, and inviting. A great start! The food was disappointing that the dishes looked nothing like the photos on the menu online and there is not information on each dish in terms of what's inside each bowl. Maybe I just didn't order the right pot but I didn't not think it was good value. I tried the squid and the sausage as well and was not impressed. Lots of processed meat if you don't want fish. I'm willing to try a fish pot next time and will definitely ask more questions about what's in it instead of just off the pictures. read more

As is, I get full just fine but only because I benefit from my wife not eating as much. Super comforting and tasty food! Fish With You is a newer restaurant in Shanghai Plaza, and apparently a fairly popular worldwide chain with 2500 restaurants. The signature item would be the spicy boiled fish soup in the Signature Hot-Oil Sauerkraut flavor. This is the one I ordered and it was very good. There are also other flavors of soup that are not so spicy and also beef and pork options. I also got the side-order combo where you can pick 2 food items from the list and get a can of soda for ~$8 which is a good deal. Signature Hot-Oil Sauerkraut Fish (Large Size) * 5/5 * Perfectly balanced flavors, it's not too sour or spicy (Chinese numbing spice). The fish is tender, pickled veggies that are still crunchy, and there's a few wide chewy noodles at the bottom. Overall a very good Chinese Fish Pot. I'd say the large bowl feeds 2 people generously. Cold Shredded Potato * 3/5 * Good texture, cool and crunchy, and pairs nicely with the fish soup, but quite bland. It could be more spicy or have an added sour/picked/vinegar flavor. Spicy Crispy Fried Pork * 3/5 * Its good because its fried meat, and was tender and moist, but wasn't that spicy. The only source of spice seems to come from the chili dipping powder. The type of breading used wasn't that crispy. Overall it was a good experience. The service was super friendly and the restaurant is clean and modern. However, the ordering process is all through your phone after scanning the QR code, which can be a little confusing to navigate the website. I got the #1 sour soup with fish and the beef Szechuan soup with vermicelli- were great! sour soup was tangy, spicy, and cozy, and the beef Szechuan one had that deep heat that makes you wanna keep eating. Tried a few of the other ones but this one still takes the top spot. - crispy pork (this seems like a newer addition since we didn't recall seeing this during previous visits): was pretty decent & would get it again - tomato fish: this was pretty whatever and wouldn't pick to get this one again out of the other selections - mao xue wang: wanted to try this because of all the ingredients in this dish but ended up not caring for this in particular For a group of 3, we usually grab a 2-person-serving and then a 1-person-serving dish and it's just the right amount for us. You can scan the QR code and order through your phone so it's super convenient. No issues with service as it's easy to flag someone and get assistance. My husband and I first found out about Fish With You through a Yelp Elite event. We loved it and finally decided to pay a return visit since we were craving it! The main downside is the parking. Located in Shanghai Plaza, it shares a parking lot with a bunch of other businesses and we were lucky to snag a spot as someone was leaving despite the tons of cars circling for spots too... Ordering is on your phone via a QR code at your table. You can also flag down a server if you have any questions, and there's even an option on the online menu to request a server to appear tableside for assistance. The workers speak Chinese fluently and enough English where I didn't feel there were any significant language barriers. We got the same thing as last time, the Green Peppercorn Sauerkraut Fish dish. If you love the Sichuan peppercorn flavor (that numbing, mala sensation) and Chinese pickled mustard greens, you will love this dish. The 2-person size is priced at $26.95 vs the 1-person size at $17.95. The default fish it comes with is basa fish but you can pay $3 to change it to black fish. For our 2-person size dish, we were prompted to choose 4 sides and we went with enoki mushroom, tofu, wide glass noodle, and vermicelli. The dish comes with a bowl of white rice for each person. We also ordered a grilled squid skewer as an appetizer, which comes dusted in a spicy powder. We were disappointed to see that the crispy fried pork appetizer was unavailable, as we loved it at our last visit. The food is 10/10, really no complaints. I'm curious to try their other fish sauerkraut soups but I'm such a sucker for Sichuan peppercorn that I don't know if I'll venture beyond that dish. The restaurant was full when we dined in and despite the online ordering process, I found that the service was good and they were able to fill our waters repeatedly without us needing to ask. For the two of us we ordered a Grilled Giant Squid Skewer and a Classic Spicy Fish for 2 with Snakehead (with 3 side dishes: tofu, wood ear fungus, and wide glass noodles). It also came with free rice. The Grilled Giant Squid Skewer was as good as advertised, perfectly grilled and really tender and delicious. The Classic Spicy Fish came with a really generous amount of fresh, tasty fish. The side dishes also complimented it very nicely. The soup was extremely flavorful and spicy. We had leftovers to bring home! Service was excellent, the owner came over and chatted with us and explained to us about the restaurant chain and the special sauerkraut. My husband found the restaurant so we had to try Golden soup beef slices w/four add on for the selections you can choose using the QR code to order from the store. It was authentic Chinise food and it hit the spot. We also got 1 pork belly, 1 beef skewers, 1 fish tofu, 1 super anguish beef and 2 coconut lava balls. We ordered Laotan sauerkrat fish soup to go since it was so good. We paid $3 extra for black fish(which I searched and it's actually an black cod fish). It was great decision to get black cod fish w/wide noodle and two different types of mushrooms. It was very delicious. Great restorative food to help restore energy levels. Great way to gain immune system on spring when weather can be windy and cold on early morning and night time since desert weather is hard to predict. However service was fast and store was well kept clean. We went around 3pm so it wasn't as busy. Now I know where to take my mother when she's in town. Although I was hesitant to eat here because I'm not familiar with this specific type of Chinese cuisine, I'm so glad I did. The laotan fish soup was delicious; like a complex multilayered burst of flavors in your mouth with every sip of the soup. It was spicy, but not too spicy where I can't handle it. We also got to try the salt and pepper pork which was one of the best I have ever had. Their dipping mix of spices was really good. For dessert, we got the coconut balls and the brown sugar rice cakes. Both were really good as well. I never thought I would say this, but I want to come back to Fish With You again and again. Can't forget to mention the service; the gentleman who took care of us was super attentive and took excellent care of us. I had initially heard about Fish with You from a friend when she had found a location in Rowland Heights. The menu had sounded really good as it had a lot of aspects that I liked. Fast forward a bit and realized one had opened in Las Vegas ! Fish with You specializes in a style called "suan cai yu" aka sour veggie fish or saurkraut fish. Quite similar to a "shui zhu yu" aka water boiled fish but in this variation, it has the pickled veggies. Menu's are available via QR code (chowbus) at the corner of your table. Ordering is still in person so you can ask a waiter/waitress to come by to take your order. So far i've been here twice and was able to try 4 different things. A lot of their stuff is listed as 1 or 2 people serving, so order accordingly. Portion size is actually fairly decent. Actually matches the number of people decently well (even for someone who eats a decent amount like me) All? dishes come with rice. We've never ordered more than a bowl of rice so unsure if it's limited to 1 or you can get more. SIGNATURE SUAN CAI & FISH 招牌热炝酸菜鱼 (2 people serving) - this is their SIGNATURE dish therefore no modifications. This is probably my FAVORITE dish so far, out of the few i've tried. This one comes with SNAKEHEAD/BLACK fish (the name varies per dish but same fish). This fish DOES come with a bit of skin on every piece of fish, so if you don't like skin, then here's your FYI. VERY flavorful. Not too spicy, good for people who can handle a little amount of spice. GOOD amount suan/sour flavor. DONT be intimidated by the amount of dried chili's in here (not edible, to me anyway, so pick them out). SUPER ANGUYS BEEF (1 person serving - 金汤肥牛 golden soup) - you have a choice between 3 different "flavors" (golden soup, tomato, or lao tan). We had picked golden soup. This dish uses sliced beef like you'd get in hot pot/shabu shabu. Unfortunately, since they cook everything in "1 pot", the beef gets overcooked. Lots of dry soy skin (looks like noodles, not the dry bean curd), enoki mushrooms, celtuce (the stalk of A-choy). Flavor is good overall but star of the dish is overcooked, so tough. LAOTAN SUANCAI & FISH 老坛酸菜鱼 (2 people serving) - unlike the signature, you have a choice between basa or snakehead fish. We chose snakehead fish (additional $3) for this one. Also unlike the previous 2, you get an option of 4 "sides" (2 person serving gets 4, 1 person serving gets 2) but the options are dry soy skin, enoki mushroom, taiwanese lettuce, tofu, celtuce, black fungus, wide glass noodle, and vermicelli. We picked dry soy skin, taiwanese lettuce (a-choy), tofu, and black fungus). The fish itself is still good. Lots of hidden "bombs" aka sichuan peppercorns. Less of an "impression" compared to their signature, like the flavor is lighter, so maybe if its your first time having this type of dish, this is the one to order to try first? ROYAL TOMATO FISH 公举番茄鱼 (1 person serving) - since we ordered snakehead fish on the previous dish, we got basa (a type of swai) fish on this one to try and compare the difference. Basa fish is like your typical fish filet you see in most hot pot places. No skin attached. Snakehead/black fish is an additional $2. The flavoring of this dish is VERY reminescent of the childhood favorite tomato egg stir fry, just without the egg. I'd almost say the tomato aspect tastes exactly like it. Not bad of a dish. Good for those who want fish but can't handle/don't like spiciness, or even children. We opt'ed for taiwanese lettuce and tofu on this one (2 options for sides since it was a 1 person serving) Very tasty overall. Most of the stuff is good but some just stand out more. Another friend and I are looking forward to coming here to try the TRIPLE DELIGHT IN CHILI OIL 毛血旺, a dish typically maining duck blood but with other organs like intestine, etc as well ! heard it's quite spicy tho ! Service is good. Seemingly always one person standing by somewhere. Decently fluent in english but definitely mandarin chinese. Hopefully they'll last a long time as the previous restaurants in this location has not. The service was friendly and efficient, and the place itself was very clean and spacious, which I really appreciated. I had one of their lemon broths and tomato broths, and it was flavorful and comforting. Portion size was generous--definitely felt like a full, satisfying meal. The first time I had First With You was actually just last month at their Rowland Heights location and I loved it! When I saw that they opened in Vegas, I was so ecstatic! Fish With You specializes in a dish called suan cai yu, which translates to "sour vegetable fish." It's essentially boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chili and it originated in Sichaun. If you're not a fan of fish, no worries! Fish With You also has them with beef and crispy pork. My husband and I decided to come here for a late lunch this past Sunday. There was only one other table in the restaurant. First, you scan a QR code to look at the menu and once you know what you like, you order with the server. Normally you can order through your phone but they turned that function off while they are offering their soft opening discount (12% off). I assume once they stop offering the discount, then you can order through the phone again. We decided to get their Laotan Suan Cai and Fish for two people. For this, we can choose between their basa fish or snakehead fish (+$3) as well was four sides. The sides that you can choose include: tofu skin, enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tofu, vermicelli (was actually wide potato noodles), black fungus (aka wood ear mushroom), and lettuce stems. We got ours with basa fish (because snakehead fish still has skin attached), enoki mushroom, napa cabbage, tofu, and vermicelli. The dish also comes with two bowls of rice. If the structure of the menu is the same, then the rice should be unlimited. If you get the dish for 1 person, then you only get 2 sides and 1 bowl of rice while the dish for 2 people gets 4 sides and 2 bowls of rice. Also according to the server at their Rowland Heights location, their Signature Suan cai & Fish is very similar to the Laotan Suan cai & Fish taste wise. The Signature one is set meaning you can't change anything to it. It only comes with Snakefish and the sides are already decided too (I can't remember which ones you get). Food came out in about 10-15 minutes so the wait wasn't long. The flavor is similar to the Rowland Heights location. The prices are higher than the prices in Rowland Heights but I guess that's pretty normal for the Asian restaurants now. Even so, the pricing for their specialized dish is extremely competitive with what we have in the valley (vs other restaurants that serve the same dish). Service was good. Their to-go packaging is actually pretty high quality and done with care. I just wished they gave more soup with the dish ahaha. I loved having it with rice! Overall, love it. Came by for one dish of fish soup and 2 sides ( squid and glutinous rice ), fish is $20 for a single person serving size. The total came out to be $30 However, as we were asking for the check , the boss whipped out the iPad , quickly informed that the tip is already pre calculated and included. Then asked me to swipe the card for payment immediately. Upon seeing my receipt after paying, I was charged 18% tip " for a group of 6 or more", but we only had a group of 4. When I asked about this incorrect overcharge he was defensive , repeating that I can use a calculator to calculate the percentage, avoiding the topic that we are a group of 4 not 6. What was worse was that I physically saw him choose the option of the tip amount for us, this is a choice that should be made by the customer. Lying that all is pre calculated but sneakily scam tipping on your customers behalf is deceitful and dishonest. This tipping culture is bs, but this kind of sneaky behavior is worse. Having a bad attitude was a cherry on top, do not try to sneak in high tips on the customers behalf and then lie about it. You are not clever, we are not stupid, we have eyes and a brain.
