Soup, Braised Pork Ribs, Pan Fried Golden Pompano, Seasonal Vegetables, and Stir Fried Egg w/ Tomato

My friend has been raving about this place and I finally had a chance to try it. Calling to order and pick up the food was so easy! You can go online and check out their weekly menu and the food sounds delicious! You have a choice to order 3 or 4 dishes and pick up is after 3pm. Comes with 2-3 side dishes and soup. Light, not greasy, not salty at all, and absolutely tasty! Definitely will be checking out the weekly menu on days I don't feel like cooking! The place is a little hole in the wall and you just go in to pay and pick up.

First time! I like how their food is not oily and it is very healthy, I will be coming back on a weekly order for sure. The price isn't bad and enough for 2-3 days for my family. Thank you!

Great homemade-family-style food! Nice amount of healthy food for an affordable price! Must order in advanced. I recommend.

I go every week and when you go this often is best to get the prepaid 10 meal plan for $300.

I enjoyed my experience here. I noticed this place was pretty new when I visited Atlantic Times…read moreSquare, and there were tons of people inside. When I came back another time, I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, we were given a table number before we started filling up our bowls. The only confusing thing was that the food is priced by kilogram, so it's a little harder to understand the cost if you're used to pounds. Other than that, the ingredients were good quality and the selection was solid. At this malatang spot, you build your bowl first and pay at the end. As for the food, I enjoyed it. I got the creamy tom yum soup, and it was sour and salty in a good way that paired nicely with all of the cooked ingredients. The sauce bar was good as well, with a nice variety of options to choose from. Overall, if I was craving malatang and already at Atlantic Times Square, I would definitely get this again. One big plus is that they give complimentary matcha ice cream served in a black cone. They don't really advertise it, but after reading reviews mentioning it, I asked after paying and they gave me one. Be sure to ask for it before you leave.

Unfortunately, the experience was a bit underwhelming. Service was on the slower side. We waited quite a while to be seated because there was a large group individually paying their checks, and it seemed like only one person was handling seating. We were also seated in the back where the tables felt a little too close together, making it feel cramped. As for the food, it didn't quite live up to expectations. Everything came out very overcooked, especially the beef, which was so chewy it was difficult to enjoy. The soup was also on the bland side and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. They do offer a complimentary matcha soft serve at the end of the meal, which was a nice touch, but it was just okay. Overall, I really wanted to love this place because the concept and ambiance have a lot of potential, but the food was pretty mid. I'd consider giving it another try in the future, but I hope the food quality and service improve.

Authentic Chinese cuisine, at last! This foodie spot is in a mall across from Raising Cane's, and…read morethey serve excellent, high quality foods at competitive prices! We love their Salt-Baked shredded chicken, which is well flavored and tossed with peanuts and scallions, with tender meat and properly rendered chicken skin, with the meat expertly separated and portioned. You don't find this kind of skilfully prepared chicken just anywhere. We got the special dinner package, which for $47.99, gives you a whole chicken, with choice of Hainan of the Salt-Baked chicken, Rice Noodle with select protein, seasonal veggies, 3 lemon teas (which are usually $4-5 at other restaurants), and another amazing delicacy, the Stone Pot rice, which we added $2 to get the eel rice, which is so plentiful and made with high quality rice, as well as not too much ginger, which means the eel is very fresh. The staff is very attentive and ready to help with things and keep the drinks full (yes, you can refill your lemon tea ). It's a nice Cafe setting and is nice and clean with windows facing the mall. Nice and bright and comfortable. This place also has many options for lunch, including HK BBQ items and other excellent foods. I am going to come here again really soon.

My mom suspects they just mix oil into white rice. - BBQ pork and chicken plate: The BBQ pork wasn't good. And pretty sure the chicken is the same as the Hainan chicken dish. - beef rice roll: best of the 3 dishes we had. My lemon tea never made it to the table and I asked about it, I could hear the lady that's took my order say that we're not supposed to have a drink, even though she had asked me if I wanted hot tea or iced lemon tea. My mom's water made it to the table after asking 3 times for it. The price are OK but for the food taste and quality, I'd skip.

I thought this restaurant was going to be similar to a lot of the other Chinese "bistros" or…read more"cafes" around this 626 area, but this one is really a step above, with more personable staff, with a longtime manager/owner who cares about the food and the customers. We had the seafood pasta which was very tasty. The sauce has plenty of flavor and kick, and there is a lot of fresh seafood provided, including mussels and shrimp. Also had the lamb chops, which is one of their most popular dishes, and I can see why. The lamb was cooked perfectly, soft juicy, super easy to eat. I loved that there was chimichurri sauce provided on the side and it went well with everything, including the mashed potatoes and vegetables. This is definitely worth a revisit for any future special occasions!

Seeing the server and an Asian staff coming out from kitchen confirmed that the cooking wasn't fully American taste bud. But that is the reason why it hit me very well. Honestly, whether you have American or fusion or Asian taste bud, the taste quality is better than some average American restaurants. I tried the butter squash soup, lamp chop, and bow tie pasta with chicken. I was enjoying my soup and lamp chop a lot. The pasta was pleasant to me, but it wasn't exceptionally great compared to the lamp chop. My fiancé loved the pasta though, saying that the sauce wasn't overwhelming. It is not a cheap place to come for, but it is because the food and drinks (good white wine) have quality. The wait for the entrees was a little long, even though it wasn't that busy. I believe it was the chef spending time to make sure each dish was done well, unlike the busy restaurant where chefs only follow the restaurant's recipes to make it quick and easy. Lastly, the ambience was okay, but it was more an older fine dining/family owned style. It had some nostalgic vibe if you'd take it that way. Keep it up. I really hope it will be there forever long.

They're so good that I'm willing to make the trip down to MPK from Walnut just to get their wings! Not a large store but they do have a few tables if you decide to eat there. Best to eat them fresh and hot if you have a chance. We typically get a combo meal which comes with fries, radish or cole slaw, and a drink.
