A Google translated photo for those of us that don't read Chinese

A great place to get your hot pot meats! Super quick and convenient. My Chinese isn't great so I just used google translate to figure out which items on the poster were the ones I wanted and pointed. The cashier was very understanding and doubled checked I was getting the right item by showing me to confirm. The pricing is a bit high compared to other place but the quality is unparalleled.

Like most other people, I only come here to buy sliced meat and have never dined in. The meat is properly sliced and charged reasonably. The quality is unbeatable especially when you compare with those you can purchase in the supermarket or even those served in premium hotpot restaurants! $15 for 1.5 lbs of sliced lamb or beef Their side dishes and steamed SLB are good and inexpensive too. Perfect for a homemade hotpot night in cooler weather. Yum

Pretty worth to buy your shabu meat in bulk! Bought two 3lbs of Beef and one 3lbs of Lamb-- total being $78 I think cause the lady didn't give me a receipt... They also speak very limited English here since they all seem to speak Mandarin, but they are sure to understand what you want to order as long as you're direct with your order! Quality-wise, it's just okay, but you're definitely getting a lot more compared to what you buy in the super market. The meat is pretty thin and kind of has a lot of fat all around, but it was still pretty tasty overall. Basically, quality is just okay, but price makes it worth if you want a lot! You can always just freeze the meat if you don't finish it :)

Located next to Big Softee, you can get your hot pot meats here pre sliced. They have beef, pork, chicken, lamb and much more. Prices depends on what you get and how much you get. There is also Miao Yun across the street if you want something a bit cheaper.

    1.5lbs of beef tongue

Our favorite place for shabu meats!! I know the SGV has a few other little gems to buy thinly sliced meats, but since we have yet to try them.. this is our undisputed winner LOL. Miao Yun is located in the same plaza and is a few bucks cheaper per pound, but i've noticed the cuts of beef are also inconsistent and sometimes significantly fattier. If you want fresh, consistent shabu beef with the perfect fat-to-meat ratio, Deerfield is the winner in the plaza. They also take card now but i'm not sure if there's a minimum purchase or not. Menu is all in Chinese so I honestly don't know what else they offer but this is what I do know: for beef and lamb, they sell the meats in portions of 1.5lbs ($13-14) or 3lbs ($26-28). Beef tongue is in portions of 0.75lbs (12oz @ $12). These three selections are our go-to's. Sooo good!! Over the last year, the prices have gone up by about $1-2 for each portion. A little bit pricey since it adds up but still a fantastic deal for the convenience, quality and amount of meat you're getting! The shop also sells other shabu ingredients but even though I have yet to try them, i've heard good things and it's a nice little one-stop-shop for your homemade shabu night.

    3lbs of lamb!

11.17.18 Winter time is perfect time for hot pot! I've never eaten here so I can't say much about the restaurant and services. I usually just get the sliced meat for hot pot and bounce. There's a minimum order of 1.5lb for $13. It's so cheaper compared to the market and the quality is good. So this is my go to place whenever I need sliced meat for hot pot. Now I want some hot pot.

smaller box is lamb, and bigger box is beef @teeeeeeeeeeem

The most familiar TW dish, beef noodle soup, was also their best item. Loved the flavorful soup. The beef was so tender. Overall I really enjoyed all the dishes here. When you arrive, be sure to write your party size on the sign-in sheet to secure your spot--there often isn't staff at the door to assist, so you'll need to manage it yourself. We visited after a long day and only had to wait about 30 minutes. Overall, the food was pretty average--or "mid," as the kids say--and I didn't feel it lived up to the hype. Here is a breakdown of what we ordered: * #26 Shanghai Style Chow Mein ($13.99): This was the standout. The noodles are thick, almost udon-style, and it's great comfort food. I would definitely come back just for this dish. * #1 XLB Juicy Pork Dumplings ($9.99): These were just okay. Not bad, but not great, and I'd likely choose somewhere else for dumplings next time. * #16 Spicy Wontons with Pork and Shrimp ($11.99): These didn't "wow" me, though I did enjoy the chili oil. I might order these again. * #62 French Style Beef Tenderloin ($17.99): The meat was very soft, but I've had better versions elsewhere, so this will be a skip for me in the future. * #83 House Special Fish Fillet ($15.99): It was very crispy with flaky fish, but the batter was quite heavy. It was enjoyable at first, but I got tired of it quickly. While the Shanghai Style Chow Mein is worth a revisit, nothing else stood out enough to make this a regular spot for us. It's a 3.5/5 experience, but I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Xiao Long Bao's flavor profile tasted more like steamed dumplings. Beef roll didn't taste as good as I remembered (probably because it had slightly less hoisin sauce), but it was still a good beef roll nonetheless. * Personally G4 Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon ($15.99) was a surprising discovery and an S-tier dish. Basically think of it as beef chow fun, but replace flat noodles with udon and add egg and bell pepper - excellent flavor profile. C3 Pan Fried Pork Bao (6 pieces - $13.00) were comparable to the ones from Kang Kang Food Court. 4.5 stars for the food with 4 items enough to feed 3 to 4 adults. I would say their noodle dishes like Beef Noodle Soup / Black Pepper Beef Fried Udon / Fujian Style Fried Vermicelli are slightly better than their dumpling dishes. Bump it up to 5-star for the excellent service. P.S. - There's another new location in Diamond Bar.

8/29/2026: Wow! Second visit almost exactly 1 year later, and this place still doesn't disappoint!…read more We pulled in to the parking lot around 8pm on a Saturday night, and the very ample parking lot was packed to the gills. There are several restaurants in the lot, but Mr. Dragon Noodle House seemed to be the busiest with several groups of people waiting outside for a table. I called and was told they're open until 9pm, but if you arrive before 8:40pm they will still seat you and you can order and dine. He quoted a 10-20 minute wait which didn't seem possible, but we took a chance and placed our name on the waitlist. I love the tablets that most restaurants in SGV use. It's so efficient! The host handed us a laminated menu and an order form after we checked in so we could figure out what we wanted even before we sat down. They get high marks for efficiency! Within 10 minutes, we were called to our waiting table. They are a well oiled machine! As soon as a party leaves, a team of 3 smiling staff converge on the table to clear the dishes, clean the table and re-set for the next patrons. We ordered our drinks and a Popcorn Chicken appetizer. Hubby says this is the best popcorn chicken he's had to date, and he's a bit of a snob! No dipping sauces needed. He ordered "No Spicy" and they brought chili powder on the side. They fried what I believe was fresh basil with the chicken and it was so tasty, I would request extra next time! It's well seasoned and crispy. The portion is easily generous enough to share with 4 or more people. Their 0% Sugar Green Tea is served icy cold in a huge beer stein, and is so refreshing! A perfect accompaniment to the meal. It comes in many flavors as well but I didn't want anything sweet. We shared an order of their Hot Oil Shrimp, Pork & Cabbage wontons in a bowl. Delicious, but if you're not a heat seeker don't forget to request it "mild". Now for what I considered the star of the table, their House Special Beef Noodle Soup. This is a dish that I love and am always looking for the best bowl.. and Mr Dragon is high up there. Don't come at me, but we had heard the hype about Corner Beef Noodle House and tried theirs last year. In an evening without a crowd we were virtually ignored when we walked in and I had to accost someone to seat us. The soup wasn't nearly as good as Mr Dragon, and their service couldn't compare. I'll have to give them one more chance. There was no room for improvement at Mr Dragon Noodle House. Beefy broth, tender chunks of beef and perfectly bouncy noodles. Yum!

The sauce was SO good--I literally wanted to dip everything in it! The only downside was that the portion of rice was on the smaller side. The fried calamari and chicken wings were both flavorful, salty, and crispy, and the rice rolls were another favorite. They had a nice combination of salty, crispy, and slightly sweet flavors that worked really well together. The decor is also super fun and very on-theme.
