The ArToy is an absolute gem…read more The owner is the sweetest person - super helpful and so happy to be there. There are so many blind boxes, gashapon, and figurines! They also have a few small claw machines. Overall a great variety of items to choose from. Prices are very fair for both tokens and merchandise; they're definitely comparable to or slightly cheaper than bigger stores. They also have a trade section for blind buys and a fun game to try for more prizes if you turn in your empty capsules! Plenty of parking in their shared public lot. Very chill ambiance - not too overstimulating but definitely a fun vibe to shop around in. I adore how the owner has decked out the store. My family and I had the best time here. 1000/10 recommend!

We came half an hour before closing, and decided to take a little walk around the shop. The exterior is brightly lit with captivating lights and the machines itself are blinking at you, asking you to spend your money! The prices were consistent and decently priced. Since we were window shopping, we didn't ask for any support but a couple next to us did. The person at the register was very friendly and had wonderful energy! If you're finding a specific toy, this place is sure to have it. I didn't end up purchasing anything tonight since I came from the POP MART in Costa Mesa, but I know where to go when I need to!

I originally was…read moreapproached by a gentleman who was bald and glasses (sorry did not offer his name) with a black polo shirt. I explained my project and he seemed disinterested in the idea and gave short one word answered and walked away. Seemed to care more about sorting rocket engines and helping a customer who was looking at a new rc car than myself or my son. Went to ask someone else for help. Aiden listened to our ideas and we needed. He went to work to provide us with the materials we needed and was very kind to myself and my son Aiden single handedly saved our experience. From my observations the black polo shirt gentleman seemed to be management - where I think Aiden would have been a better manager. Hobby stores are hard to come by these days and this experience could have easily converted me to seek guidance online, however Aiden changed this. Please go to this store for Aiden. But avoid the guy in the black polo shirt belongs in the tool selection.

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.
