It started all the way back in 1937 during the Great Depression as a shoe repair shop with a little candy pushcart outside, and it's still run by the same family today. The second you step inside, you are hit with this amazing wall of pure chocolate and sugar nostalgia. They have absolutely everything packed floor-to-ceiling, from retro candies you haven't seen since you were a kid to massive bulk bins and rare international imports. I've never had a piece of their chocolate that I didn't thoroughly enjoy! They make festive chocolates for seasons and holidays and anytime there are leftover decorated chocolates they usually sell them at a steep discount a few days afterward.
