Although the area around Lee Sims looked a little rough around the edges, the chocolate store itself was cutely decorated for the holidays with chocolates and Christmas decorations in the store front window. As for chocolates, Lee Sims had a huge variety. In the end, though, I chose a box of 36 chocolates and a box of roasted nuts. Each of the chocolates was fantastic and the nuts were salted and roasted to perfection. Highly recommend this local chcolatier if you are in the area.

The chewy Swedish candies are packed with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet, which is a nice change from typical candy. The strawberry Bon Bons were absolutely to die for with a delicate hard shell with the perfect chewy center, and just the right balance of flavor without that sugary overload. While you waited in line, they were handing out samples of "pippy coins" which were delicious. Every bite felt thoughtfully made and a step above your average candy shop.
