Darn-good fried chicken for a food court. Braintree's South Shore Mall serves up amazing Popeyes chicken! The chicken is fresh, super crispy, and the service is quick. (The same cannot be said for Roxbury's Popeyes, which should be avoided at all costs).

I heard a lot of people rave about the spicy chicken sandwich and thought I'd try it myself! I placed a mobile order 10 minutes prior to my arrival. The pick up station is very clear as there's a large sign to distinguish between pick up and order now. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and 4 piece chicken (white - breast and wing). The spicy chicken sandwich was very good and definitely tastier than I envisioned -- now I understand the hype! I was mistakenly given 2 white and 2 dark (leg and thigh). We did not enjoy the dark as it was on the drier side. Their sweet heat sauce is amazing -- the perfect amount of spice!

Luv that chiggin from Pawbbize! The jingles rings through my head as I plow through my first spicy chicken sandwich, served immediately by the new Popeye's in the South Shore Plaza food court. Savage sidenote: Staff from Chicken Now looked longingly across the court as the line at Popeye's never got shorter, while they carnival barked passers-by to try their similar offering. I felt bad. But not bad enough, as Popeye's has always been a personal fave in the fast food realm, and this unsung jewel is still shadowed enough to avoid the no-sandwich riots of 2019. The chicken is hot, juicy and with that signature Popeye's crunch. Hopeful sidenote: Oh my, Chicken Now finally got a customer! Good for them. I'm not entirely sold of the fanaticism behind the sandwich, however it is very tasty and easily situated in the Popeyes canon. Could be spicier (throw a few Cajun Sparkle in the bag, yo), but still quite satisfying. And it's $4, so there's that.

Date of visit: 01/15/20 @7PM This was by far the smallest Popeyes I have ever seen and the menu is extreamy limited but it is in a food court so its to be expected. I ordered a simple spicy chicken breast but it really was not spicy at all so I think they screwd up the one order that they had which was me the only one in line. The entire staff looked miserable from the kitchen to the front of the house and they did not make me feel welcome at all. In closing however the chicken was crispy and juicy even tho it was not spicy like I ordered. I dont see myself returning to this location.

Waited in line for 25 mins for 5 tenders, the cashier was trying to flirt with me and then I didn't get any of my sauce.

Ask the Community - Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Where in the south shore mall is this? I could not find it and also I placed a ordered through Uber eats and they couldn't find it either. Is it inside? Next to what stores?

It's in the food court. The food court is on the upper level, right next to Lord & Taylor. As you walk into the food court, it will be on the left side (the side opposite of the restroom). It's the very last restaurant on the left side, so walk all…

But since then, I've discovered their cheap beer for $4, which rotates, and had outstanding burgers, salads, and pepperoni pizza. Wife had a sausage and pasta dish she absolutely loved. It's loud in here, but the service has always been very good. When I got the side salad with the burger, in lieu of fries, I was really impressed. I moved my burger to a side plate, and the salad filled my main plate. Way more than simple greens. The pizza had lots of cheese and the pepperoni had just the right amount of crisp. Glad I returned. We had a reservation and were seated right away on a nice large table for the five of us. Nice brick interior, a bit dark for my taste but I am old and couldn't see the menu too well, needed a cell light but super friendly server which always is a plus. Chose the Philly Cheese Steak and got the arugula salad which was fairly large for a side. Sandwich was also good-sized and I only could eat half but the other half made for a nice lunch the next day. Others were happy with their meals, I honestly forget what everyone ordered. The draft beers and other drinks came quickly and waitress was good about keeping our glasses full. Very responsive. Was sort of loud place is my only complaint. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant or on-street.

The minute I got to the front door and saw the filthy glass covered in nasty fingerprints and dirt I should have went with my gut and left. I go up to the glass to order my food and get the same Quesadilla I've been ordering from here for the past 10+years. I think I literally maybe got 10 pieces of diced chicken in my tortilla. I wait at the register and not a soul around to ring me up. Finally, someone comes over and hands me my quesadilla off the grill. Doesn't ask me if I want salsa, sour cream or guacamole. So I ask for it. Forgets to give me my cup for my soda. I walk over to 4 different tables before I can even find one that's actually clean. The place was so disgusting filthy. I've never seen it that bad. Every single table had food stains all over it. The trash was overflowing and no one was really doing anything but standing around. This is definitely the last time I'll be going to this Qdoba. I'll head over to the new one in Weymouth! They're spotless and so nice!!!!

Located in Quincy, MA, it's a convenient location close to everything. There's also plenty of parking in front of the restaurant in the plaza parking lot. As I walked in and looked at the menu, it reminded me a lot of places like Chipotle in the sense that you create your own meal, selecting off of the list of ingredients and how you'd like it presented, as a bowl, tacos, salad, burrito etc. The restaurant was decent but I actually thought it could have been better maintained and cleaner. I ordered the taco salad with ground beef with an edible bowl. Blahhh it was just okay. I tend to be on the pickier side when it comes to Mexican food so there's that but I won't go back. It was really just okay. The best thing about my visit was the service. Friendly guy behind the counter prepping my food. Nice conversation and great attitude.

I have been asking myself the same question since I was about 12. Perhaps, in this case, I haven't completely lost my mind. So... I appreciate that Wendy's may use fresh (not frozen) beef. However, unless we are talking A5 Wagyu, without seasoning the flavors are practically nil. This is especially true when cooked to a well-done. Fresh flip-flops are still flip-flops! Making matters worse, the Dave's Single I ordered had a very dry mouthfeel, despite the veggies; a case where I went back to the counter for a drink. Next, while the burger was generally well-assembled, I found the three pickles were placed on top of one another vs. spread out. To not be all doom and gloom: I did enjoy the fries which tasted relatively crisp for something under a lamp and were well-seasoned. The service was polite, though a manager in the kitchen loudly expressing disapproval over a staff mistake makes for a less-than-awesome environment. Competition in the fast-food space is fierce, and there is no shortage of fast-food and fast-casual restaurants within a mile radius. Therefore, with McDonald's seasoning their patties and not producing burgers as dry as a bone, I think the choice is clear.
