Cajun fries, Grilled cheeseburger
Jenny C.

This combo was inspired by Tik Tok which was the Grilled Cheeseburger. It's basically a cheeseburger but the buns are flipped inside out and grilled with butter. I love how you can add however many toppings you want and can also add another patty. The service was great as the worker was helpful in recommending what toppings i should get. This place is pretty spacious and also provides complementary peanuts. The Cajun fries were generously seasoned and super crispy. Highly recommend getting this combo!

Here goes my story.. lol Had a craving for hot dogs today, it was either 5 guys or Caspers. Decided on 5 guys @ this location based on proximity. Its after 1pm, theres several tables seated but no one ordering at the counter~ awesome for me as i dont like lines anywhere. Server welcomed and greeted me with a smile, very friendly. Happily answered all my questions, repeated my order and told me 7 mins.. I left and grabbed milk tea next door. Food was ready by the time I went back and was passed to me with more lovely smiles... Who doesnt love friendly staffing... :) The order was accurate, nothing missing and my veggie ingredients all fresh. Taste exactly the way i like it... My craving is satisfied!! The inside of this location is clean and bright. Plenty of parking in huge lot. This will be my go to for future 5 guys meals. Thank u so much for my abundance of fries!!! I appreciate it

Allergy notice! Peanuts.

Definitely the best burger I've ever had and my husband agrees. Their French fries are the bomb!

I've been coming here a lot since it opened. The food and service has been consistently great! How lucky that this opened in Danville!

I have eaten at Blossom and Root Kitchen 15+ times at this point for brunch and dinner so my review…read moreis long overdue. I am vegetarian and have eaten at many vegetarian restaurants over the years. I would confidently say that Blossom and Root is the best vegetarian restaurant in the Bay Area and it may be my favorite restaurant hands down. Food: Key to a great restaurant is consistency. The food and dishes are consistently great at Blossom and Root over many visits. I have tried the Smash burger, yellow curry, Mediterranean bowl, french toast, pancakes, chilaquiles, breakfast burrito and several other dishes. Yellow curry is my hands down favorite but honestly no dish has ever disappointed. Every dish is always very freshly prepared. You can tell. They have a kids menu as well. Kids will also love the "experience" of the Butterfly bubbles drink! Just try it! Ambiance: Cute restaurant with a modern craftsmen kitchen feel. It feels like you are eating at the home of a friend with a nice house. Casual vibe that is kid friendly. Service: Servers and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it can get slow for attention when they get busy.

First timer. Long wait to get an order in and not too many people in the restaurant…read more I would not recommend ordering the Chilled Beet and Avocado "Bowl." It was about 1/4 cup quinoa and millet and more tangerine oranges than grains. Look at the difference of portion sizes from our experience vs Yelp photos. I felt this was inadequate and asked for more grains. I got a 1/2 cup of extra quinoa (only). Tofu scramble and pancakes (adult and kid versions) were good. The server tried to insinuate that the adult pancakes weren't enough, but they were more than enough. We also ordered one orange juice for a child (paper cup with a copper straw jammed through the opening) and hot tea. Honest review, it was overpriced and moderately good. I would not return; quality and value for 3 adults and 1 child was not worth $100+ including tip. Hope they consider my feedback to improve; this place has great potential.

James is the best--friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel like valued customers. We usually order the Cobb salad or the cheeseburger, and both are fantastic every time. It's so nice to have a place you can count on for great food and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

On Labor Day 2025, I was having coffee with George at the Starbucks next door when he suggested grabbing a burger here. We walked in at around 5:45pm and it wasn't too busy. The interior looked pretty much the same as before. 80s pop music was playing in the background. George got the Double Burger combo with garlic feta fries while I opted for the Cali Burger Combo with curly fries. The staffer who helped us was friendly and helpful. I noticed he was wearing a 'Back to the Future' hat and we both agreed that a rumored potential reboot of the franchise would be a terrible idea. Our food came out pretty quickly. The Cali Burger was very good. The burger was very juicy, and I loved that sourdough bread was used. The curly fries were good as well. I'm glad that Fat Maddie's is still around. Good burger joints are getting harder to find. I will definitely return. 4 solid stars.

We opted to not sit outside, rather inside right by the exterior seating to still get the vibes but also some AC. I love places like Lafayette where all the businesses support each other and help each other grow. Their brews on tap are mostly all local, and we grabbed some Pilsners sourced from Lafayette's new brewery, Western Flyer. So fresh and crisp. Can't wait to also check that spot out. Food-wise, we came in mid-afternoon and grabbed a Kale Pancetta salad (they pre-split the salad for us on two plates which was so nice), and for the mains, we both grabbed the Tuna Melt with fries. The salad was delicious. I'm def a tuna melt girly, and I loved the addition of the ciabatta (?) as the bread option, so fresh as well. This tuna melt comes with grapes fyi, and a few other elements mixed in. I absolutely loved it, just sharing though as I know how some tuna stans like their tuna :) This spot is clean, spacious, and perfectly situated in walking distance downtown. Would love to come back for brunch with a group of friends, or even again during the upcoming Lafayette Art & Wine Fest. Food is good, service is quick and friendly, and vibes are right. Metered parking located across the street.
