Convenient and busy location. Straightforward menu of burgers and fries plus hot dogs! I always vacillate when it comes to choosing and end up getting a burger anyway. The little burger combo with a little side of fries is a lot of food. My mom and I usually split one but she devoured her little cheeseburger all on her own. She had all the condiments without onions. I got a little hamburger "all the way" but forgot they use a lot of ketchup. The fries are nicely done and is really enough to share, I asked for less salt on it. However, the crew left out the shake and I had to ask for it. Then, sadly I was disappointed by the flavor of the strawberry shake, it seemed to taste so medicinal to soapy, although there was a lot of chopped fruit in it; It might have been exposed or contaminated by whatever cleaning solution used on the prep surfaces. I was greeted as soon as I walked in which was great. I spent $20 on a burger, fries and a soda. I waited for about 10 minutes while the four employees behind the counter talked and laughed. I had to ask for a cup for my soda while I waited. The lady said oh sorry, and then went back to talking. This was my first time at Five Guys in yearrrrs and I have to say, it's not worth it. The best part was the soda machine with different combination of sodas. I come in the early evenings on weekdays because the manager is on point. The burgers are always good when he is working. He is a burger master. I'm not being funny, I respect his craft. His burgers are made carefully and thoughtfully. He is a true professor. We've seen him doing every role and training the burger masters of the future. A model for anyone who does anything, ever. Went to five guys they sell hamburgers and hot dogs. That's a $10. Hamburger and $9.00 Hot Dog They want you to think they are generous as they say FREE as many toppings as you want. They have a help yourself soda machine, you can choose the ice quantity and the drink. Now something fun about this place is they have unlimited free peanuts for paying customers (it's great unless you have a peanut allergy). The place is kept clean bar high tables, a few low tables and seating outdoors almost in the parking lot ( yes cars are driving by as you sit and eat). The place doesn't offer much in service take order, yell out your number, you pick up your own peanuts,your food, pour your own drink and you throw away your own waste. Good food just overpriced it's hot dogs ( not the size of Dodgers Dogs), All dogs and Hamburger Patties same size you can get at a high school football game snack bar! The burger tastes sooo fresh and I loved that when I called to place an order, they waited till I arrived to provide the freshest fries with my order!! I usually get a cheeseburger done all the way (without mustard though) and it's the best thing ever! If you're scared of getting mushrooms on your burger, DON'T BE because it's a game changer! The burgers are on the pricey side, pricier than The Habit, for example, but they are waaaay better than the habit. The patty is plump and juicy, something In N Out has gone downhill on. Employees are pretty nice, both times I went I had a decent interaction and my food was ready in a decent amount of time (it's faster when there's no one else who ordered before you.) the burgers are great, everything is well seasoned and cooked. The fries are good, I personally like them with light Cajun seasoning because it adds extra flavoring. The Oreo cookie shake I had was good too. The good? The burgers, excellent! Closest thing to a home made charred burger. The fries, very good. The drinks are refillable and plenty of them to choose between. The bad? Overpriced and devoid of any value, regardless of the taste, flavor, presentation, quality or quantity! The burgers are small, for a regular burger at $10+ I expect a spectacular LARGE burger and here Five Guys fails miserably. The fries have a real problem, quantity. Potatoes are cheap and at $4.99 small, $6+ medium and $8+ large your got a genuine ripoff when considering the portion bagged and served. In addition to the food, the wait time is painful. It's understandable when you consider it's a fresh made burger on the grill top. Let's talk about the cheese! For around a dollar, you can get "American cheese " added to your burger. That's 1 slice of "fake" cheese for a buck so their cheeseburger comes in at $11+. There are many burger joints that will combo a burger with fries and a drink at around $10. Most of the joints will bag a big portion of fries with a burger that's comparable in size to five guys or larger. Try it for yourself, see what you think. For me, it's one and done. In n Out is a better deal and you can depend on the value. read more
