I have ordered from this location via the app twice, both times choosing the curbside delivery option. And both times I had to go into the store to get my order after calling to let them know I was there, and then waiting 12+ minutes. It seems this location is not set up for curbside delivery, even though it is offered. This evening when I went in, there were only three people waiting for food. I know there are more and more online and app orders, but it would take less than a minute to take an order out to a car and come back. There isn't even a good place to park for curbside delivery. All the curbs are red, and the parking lot is small so it is hard to find a place in front of the store sometimes. And one more thing - it seems part of their schtick is that they don't drop fries or make shakes until people arrive for their orders. I like the idea of that, though with both of these orders, it was obvious my fries came from under a heat lamp. They were warm but on the edge of tepid, nowhere near fresh from the fryer. I know these are trying times, and I know this is a new location, so the first time I let go. This time, however, because of the rudeness of the staff all around, I probably won't be back. This review is for Five Guys in general, NOT this location in particular. After noticing that this location is open and thanks to the Covid-19 lockdown, I downloaded the Five Guys app to order our food and go pick it up. 2 bacon cheese burgers, 1 lettuce wrapped cheese burger, 3 fries, no drinks.......$47.....wait, what???? I added three drinks just to see.....close to $60 with tax. There is no way in any dimension that any business can justify those prices for burgers. For around $20 more I can get sushi to go at Mikuni for three people. These prices are obscene! read more

Gotta give these guys a good review. It's a relatively new location, and they haven't disappointed me yet. They give you so many fries that I started ordering small and still get plenty. Burgers are always nice and juicy. During these times of covid, I'm just happy to have good service from businesses trying the best they can after 7 months of lockdown and distancing. Rudest worker I have encountered And Alisa their team leader is right up there with them. You learn from your leaders and I have been in the store 3 occasions finding the same female short worker arguing and confrontational with customers. She has to always have the last word. When this was explained to Alisa she simply responded ok ok. And when I told her if that's all she was going to say she abruptly dismissed me and said I will talk to her is there anything Else ? I don't believe this is the Five Guys customer service way but things have sure changed Dale in your franchise. Dale if you would like to discuss this further please feel free to reach out to me. I certainly have no desire to speak with your team of disrespectful employees and Should I not hear back I will reach out on different platforms as there are plenty that feel some of your employees need to be retrained on life's lessons of how to treat people with kindness and mutual respect. I went to this location after work this afternoon and was greeted instantly by a gentleman in glasses and a young female with glasses as well. They were super nice and explained the menu very well. I went with their bacon cheeseburger and a regular fry. My order was complete in a very timely fashion. They thanked me for coming in and I went on my way. They where super nice I can't stress that enough. Definitely will be coming back very soon. read more

I love 5 guys but i have to say, this location is the worst one you can go to. I ordered doordash pick up, waited 45 minutes before it was ready. (1 burger and a milk shake). I get to five guys after it says its ready and they just started making it when i said i was there for pick up. They forgot to make the milkshake, then didnt give me a straw. The best part of that experience was the raw burger they served me which actually gave me food poisoning. The employees cared too much about talking to eachother and not enough about making sure the food is cooked and safe to eat. 110% would not recommend unless you like poor service and food poisoning. read more

I have not been to a 5 Guy's in a few years, so I was glad to see one open in my neighborhood. Usually my favorite Burger joint, but this one fell short. The burger toppings were skimpy and the bun was still half the burger...which I had "loaded" with toppings. The fries were salted to death. Not edible. I expected for a large fry order I would get more than a small cup worth for $6. My old spot not only loaded a small bag, but dumped a scoop inside the whole to go bag. Sti better than most Fast Food burgers, but I may not return to this location. read more

The customer service at this location in Fair Oaks is HORRIBLE!!! The person who took my order was extremely rude and was annoyed when I asked questions about the menu! As well, she was angry about something and was slamming objects down on the counters and acting aggressive. She needs counseling in anger management and should not be in a service related position. Today was my first time eating and at a five guys and boy! was sit good! I always had people tell me how good it was, so I decided to try it and I'm so glad I did. Definitely recommend and will have to keep coming back for more. Also the two workers who were wearing the black shirts, around 1:30ish, were so welcoming and polite. I came into this Five Guys kinda desperate for some lunch. Cheeseburger, small fries, and a drink. People were very nice, and I experienced good service. I was kinda disappointed with the way the build a burger: patties with cheese on the bottom, then lettuce, then tomatoes, then mayo. I used to manage for a SoCal chain called Ruby's Diner, which are the best burgers I've ever had. This is how it's supposed to go: bottom bun, mayo/sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, patty, cheese, and top bun. That's what we called "flavor profile," and it makes a big difference. The burger wasn't bad, but it wasn't Ruby's. Fries were excellent. Thank heavens the self-serve drink machines are open again! During the meal, I was kinda wishing somebody would combine the great flavor of a In-N-Out burger with fries from Five Guys. In-N-Out fries are the absolute worst. The biggest disappointment was the cost. $18 and change for a simple meal. No way I'm facing that again, not for a mediocre burger. read more

OK, so I have been going to five guys in general for a long time, in many different CA cities. My go to one is on Sierra College Blvd in Roseville. When this one opened, I thought I would try them out as they are 1 mile closer to me then the Roseville facility. First 2 times where OK, wait time seemed a little long, but I thought it ok considering being just opened and the whole Covid thing. Today my Wife went in and ordered for take out. My usual, baby bacon cheese all the way with A1 and no other sauce, was ordered. When she got home I had a baby bacon cheese with bun, bacon, cheese, burger and nothing else! The receipt clearly says all the way A1 no other sauces. I guess the disappointing thing was when my Wife called them, the lady on the phone said bring it back and we will make you another, not taking into consideration that we just drove there and back. She did not offer apologies, a manager, or a promise to do better next time. Maybe she was the manager (I will not mention her name on this as I am not trying to shame anyone) Hope they learn to check the order (I know we will if we go back there) before they let a customer drive away with an incorrect order. Probably go back to the good old tried and true one a mile further the other way.... read more

My neighbor and I ordered curbside at the Fair Oaks Five Guys, true there are not a lot of parking right up front but that is not their fault. We arrived and called to let them know we were there and the young man informed us they were just cooking the fries and making my coffee shake. We received our food, drove home and it was awesome. We ordered the Regular Bacon Cheese burger (one on a bun one wrapped in lettuce) it had two pattys. Next time we will order the Little Bacon Cheese burger it is one patty of meat. The bacon was so crispy and good, we loved the burgers. We ordered a Regular french fries, the fries are cut every morning (not frozen) and we had so many we could not believe that was one order. We enjoyed our early dinner it was awesome, oh and my shake was very good. I did so enjoy talking with Gregory, the Gen.Manager and learning more about Five Guys. I do not know of any place that by the time you get back to your house that everything is piping hot! We will be back! read more
