Now that we got that out of the way, Five Guys is an excellent alternative to my fav In-N-Out Burger, although these guys are more expensive. Still, the burgers here are a whole lot better than the standard burger chains you find on every street corner of every town U.S.A., including Las Vegas. If not for the price, and the distance from my home, I'd probably eat here more often. So when I was near one and hunger struck, what's a carnivore to do? The ordering process for a newbie is easy enough. Pick your burger and tell them what toppings you want, if any. It's all included so don't be shy. Seeing the concept as awesome, I added grilled mushroom & onions to my bacon burger. Added some fries and a shake to complete the high caloric meal. As I waited in anticipation, quotes of praises and magazine covers that featured Five Guys on one wall caught my attention. I read and waited for my culinary enlightenment. They called my # and I was at the counter in less than .7 seconds. The fries were hot, the burger felt heavy ... all is well, that is until I opened the wrapper. What faced me was a twin of dry patties, tons of various sized lettuce pieces, with bacon that fell apart in some areas, and remained chewy in others. The meat was dry and bland. It had zero flavor. No salt was spared, nor was any seasoning. I was chewing, but tasted nothing. Not the meat-ish product, not the grilled onion & shrooms... only tasted the lettuce. The fries were so salty that I had to stick them in the burger to serve as a flavor agent. The service was pretty good. They worked efficiently and were courteous. Trying to support you during this crazy virus and my husband gets home with a bag of overcooked old stale French fries! A large and a small, so that's $6-7 dollars worth of inedible fries. I've complained about this location before, but since it's closest to my house, I keep trying it. My mistake! I've never received a response from the owner regarding is lack of management or action to correct issues. You do not have a corner on the market! Yum. Did I mention yum? I miss all the extras that they gave (peanuts, indoor seating) before the 'rona nonsense, but they do what they gotta do. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is OMG great! The fries!! Don't get me started! It used to be that you could get all the vinegar and other condiments you wanted, but in the 'rona foolishness, you can't, yet these guys made it painless. We were eating outside and the staff person, whose name I WISH I would have been able to report, bent over backwards to help us. He offered us napkins, condiments, and anything else we needed. He delivered. He was quick and cheerful. Seriously, if I could have gotten his name, I would nominate him for an award. All Five Guys are pretty good and this place is no different. This place does not offer indoor dining but I was able to eat on one of the picnic tables they offer outside of the restaurant. Unless they are hiding the elephants, tigers, and clowns somewhere in the back! How many times have I been here? Oh, that was pre-Yelp; but none of those count. On to the visit once you open the door to five guys, the smells create that happy dance like Snoopy does in his head until you receive your burger. That's why they offer the peanuts, maybe. The peanut treats that all can partake of are not salted either. We all will keep and reserve our own decisions on why they use peanuts as horderves. On this particular visit, the twins were in accompaniment. They always go find us a table while I do the ordering. The menu here is large enough where all can see. I'm was in the middle of the store and could read it. The menu boards are clear, concise, and straightforward. No tricks just the prices listed for all the delicious and delightful flavors they have on the menu! It took me a few to look over the menu but the cashier gave me a nod that said, take your time. When I was ready I was waved over by the cashier, whom seemed so excited to take my order. The order process went very smooth. After a slide of my card I was told they would call my order out using my name. Scanning the lobby, it's a Sunday afternoon there are lots of shiny happy people enjoying laughs and fun with those that they love over hotdogs and hamburgers! How beautiful is that? Right it's the absolute best! My angels have their heads buried in their phones, as do most teenagers. At least when I came over they looked up from their vices and acknowledged I was standing there. My rule during dinner is no cell phones, so they need to get all the playing in they can do before the food arrives. For if they break my rules the phone does a disappearing act for a week. The reason I mentioned this is because I heard the mother behind me just take her daughters phone! You go mom! The restaurant lobby is so alive with happiness that individuals are sharing within their families that it just restores my faith in humanity. Remember, this is Yelp no eating until those angles are on film! Hotdogs and hamburgers all around, plus bacon. The hotdog which has bacon on it I shared with my daughter. The bacon pieces on the hotdog are so yummy. The bacon is real too. The hotdog is the thin dawgs like at the ball park, and it's cooked to perfection. Everyone got a burger with the works minus the onion. I took my burger with no cheese though, and extra pickle. The silence screams volumes while the twins devour their food. Who's to talk? As I was cutting that hotdog with bacon in half, my half disappeared real fast! The burgers as you eat them go best with their fries. It's messy and salty with just the right amount of grease to be pleasant. With all of us full and happy it is time I believe to go home. As we were eating we got in some outstanding family time. The lobby as I said before was filled with other customers whom are so polite and happy. As people got up to leave they would wave to us and like wise. It was amazing to see complete strangers talking to others. Usually in Vegas the politeness etiquette is nonexistent! This was a joyful reminder that people still love one another and those around them. I believe the love that is conveyed here can be seen with the staff as they work together. The chatter among the employees as they work is so beautiful to watch behind the counter. They shout out the orders and then high five one another. The manager made his rounds in the lobby asking the patrons at the table if their food is delicious. The manager thanked each and every guest in the lobby as he walked by. If your looking for a fantastic place for burgers and dawgs come on down. They even serve vegetarian burgers for those that do not eat meat. If your looking for glutten free or Vegan the grease is the first answer to eat elsewhere. The staff is beyond friendly and the manager as we discovered is "what" a manager should be. The patties are hand form and this alone makes them better than any fast food joint where the patties are pre-formed. Five Guys is one step up from regular fast food burger places. You won't find a drive through here and your burger is made when you order it. A regular Hamburger will come with two patties so if you're really wanting just one, you'll want to order the Little Hamburger. This place is located across the parking lot from the Outlet Mall, so do some shopping/walking and then do some eating, or the other way around. Either way, take in some calories and burn some calories. When you walk in the door, you will probably be greeted with some form of welcome. Note the bags of potatoes on the floor that tell you what kind of fries you'll be having today. Oh, and you will be having fries, right? Live like me and go for the Cajun fries. Mmmm. Walk up to the counter and place your order. They have a long list of toppings to choose from but don't get carried away. After placing your order, have a seat. It will take a few minutes. Bring your phone so you can spend time Yelping or playing games. Oh yeah, almost forgot. While you're waiting, they have a treat for you. Shelled peanuts. Just go on up to the barrel and take a paper bowl and fill it to your heart's content. Head to your seat and eat away. Remove shell first. Your burger's gonna come wrapped in a soft foil. The buns are really soft and end up getting mashed a bit, but it's still good this way. This tends to be a sloppy burger as it's being eaten, so keep it partially wrapped as you go. And one order of fries is enough for a couple of people (you get a bunch). They do a nice job of keeping the place clean even when it's busy. read more

I arrived before noon, this location is near by the McCarran Car Rental Terminal which was convenient before catching a flight home. I went with a regular hamburger which has two patties and loaded it up with just about everything. I added an order of regular fries and a beverage and the tab came out to over $12.00 which I thought was pricey. The meal was just okay and to be quite honest the meat was flat tasting and messy to eat. The fries were just average - i should have went with the Cajun fries. What an entrance lol The Manager took our order. He was very lovely, bubbly and truly customer oriented. While the guys made up there mind I was ordering my bacon cheeseburger with onions, lettuce, jalapeño, tomato, mayonnaise (the french inside me), ketchup and mustard Gosh that was good!!! Pros. First ... I need to mention the customer service. This group that is working tonight on 1/3/15 ... Is the most friendliest team with all amazing attitudes. Started with the guy who took my order super friendly and informative about the menu. Even the lady who was cooking had a smile on her face while making our food. The lady who was cleaning the tables asked if we were ok and if we needed anything and offered to take my trash ... it felt like I was at a nice sit down restaurant and I told my boyfriend wow they're all so nice here and they were joking with each other. Their regular burger is two patties of meat and you can choose a hamburger, cheeseburger, or bacon cheeseburger. Then you custom your burger with your choice of toppings. The bacon is super crispy which I love. Also huge portions of fries. Boyfriend and I usually just share the regular fries ... which is more than plenty. The guy also said their regular fries normally feed 2-3 people. Also there are unlimited amounts of free peanuts for you to enjoy. Cons. I think it's a little pricey ... maybe if they had combos it would appear a little cheaper then ordering everything separate. I have to admit the only thing I like from here is the fries .. my preference for a burger joint is In-N-Out (sorry Five Guys) ... however my boyfriend craves this so we go here from time to time. My favorite place to go when I'm craving a burger. Their burgers are honestly THE best! Juicy, flavorful and the patty is the right thickness. It's always dress to order and they have free, unlimited toppings! Their Cajun fries are delicious and they pretty much give you a bag full with one order. This location made a bad experience into a great one. My order was messed up and I didn't want to complain because as someone who used to work in food, I didn't want to be THAT person. My moms meal was messed up so I decided to say something since it wasn't just mine. When I brought the order up they apologized, happily fixed it, and let me keep my old order plus the new one. Their Veggie Sandwiches (yum!) always loaded with so many juicy deliciousness. Don't forget to ask for grilled jalapeños on the side if you like a little kick in your food. This time (on a Wed, 6 PM), the meat was bland, pretty well tasteless, and the fries were soft and greasy, like being fried at a low temperature, not crisp like the first two times. I just spent a very overpriced $60 for 3 burgers and 1 LG fries. Got home with the to go bag and found a barely filled large cup of fries. So disappointed! I have been going to 5 guys for over 10 years and they always overfill my to go bag with tons of fries!! It looks like inflation has hit the kitchen at this place.
