Sandwich was great! Fries weren't as great. I could taste the old oil. Went here on June 18 about 8. Ordered the combo. The fries again were awful! Some of them were so hard you couldn't pull it apart. Ordered without salt and they still were greasy and limp! Great Job to Jonathan! He handle a rude customer in the most professional way I have seen, he offer his apologies for the delay on my order and offer me a shake for the wait! Awesome job! I recently went to this Laurel location about 45 minutes before closing for the first time since the pandemic. Food was good as always. I ordered on site. They have a mask required sign but customers came in without and no one there made a request to use a mask. Don't have the sign up if you don't mean it. The staff of 4 did lots of talking while 3 customers waited and there were phone in orders as well. It's fine to talk and have fun while you work. It's a necessity. Unfortunately, appears to happen at the expense of customer service. I was given and extra hamburger that I did not order. Should have checked before leaving. I also realized my order was just sitting there while the guy in charge of fries was just standing around. Was not until the young manager talked to him that he realized he could put my fries in the bag and give me my order. My order sat around for 5 minutes or more. I would have said something if I knew it was mine. Also, did not have enough fries cooking due to the fooling around factor. Oh well. Next time I may try the Greenbelt location. They used to give pretty good service. read more

Excellent customer service and pretty quick compared to other Five Guys I've been to. They loaded the bag with fries on top of the cup, which is great. The burger was perfectly cooked and very juicy. All the topping tasted fresh and were the perfect amount. Also, love the huge variety of soft drinks available in the drink machine. A+ from me! read more

Great, fast curbside service! I ordered using their app. Hot freshly cooked fries and juicy burger were ready on time for curbside pickup. Yes, just as good as getting it in the restaurant! They even included peanuts when i asked. Is i just me? I love the taste of those peanuts with a mushroom cheeseburger and with their boardwalk-style fries! It seems that only bottled beverages are available for curbside pickup. Less spillage by me in my car, less handling by staff, Works for me :-) Their app triggers text messages, so i used more than one way to let them know i had arrived, and they didn't get confused by my multiple replies :-). Can't say anything wrong about this location truly. I'm just gonna be honest, even though five guys is kinda expensive it's truly the best fast food burger and those FRIES!!!!! I mean... perfection. Every time I come to this location, I get great customer service. I've noticed that they also wipe down the tables pretty frequently so there's always a clean spot for you to sit. In general, the restaurant looks clean. Plenty of seating options from high top chairs to table seating. Whenever I'm craving five guys, I make sure to come to this location, it doesn't disappoint ;) read more

I've been to this location quite a few times, but I've never sat down. I do, however, notice that they are always very clean (even before Covid). I love that they always make sure the fries are hot. They are so good, too. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger, and once in a while I'll treat myself to one of their delicious milkshakes. My only complaint is that they're so pricey, but I know that's not really anything they can help. I've gotten consistently good food, and will always come back read more

Customer service was TERRIBLE! my family and i went in at 4pm on a Monday so it was empty and as soon as one of the workers saw us she rolled her eyes. Seemingly the manager greeted us with a smile and before we could ask our question on size of the burger she did a quick rundown of the menu so we could order according to our appetite. Communication between staff was swift to eliminate a long wait. It wasn't very busy so the order took no time. I got a cheeseburger "all the way" (refer to menu) which is two patties. A little messy to eat but whatever, it was delicious. Bread was bomb too. My girl got a "little" which is one patty and added jalapeños (yum). A medium fry is more than enough to share between two people (next time we'll get a small). They always overfill the FF cup. This was my first time at any Five Guys. I really like the simplicity and clean look of the interior. I did not know it was a build your own burger type feel, I rather tell you what I don't want rather than everything I do want but that wasn't a big deal. The food was surprisingly pretty good. I say surprisingly because when I got handed a "grease bag" and told my whole order was in there I could've flipped. I am not at all a fan of their packaging. The whole grease bag thing takes away from the value of the food I feel. Then what if I wasn't going straight home. All my food would fall out the bottom of the bag by the time the bag sucked up all the grease from my fries. Fries were crisp, burger was very good, packaging is what pissed me off. I don't know who these Five Guys are, but they sure are virile and fertile as I see their offspring popping up like weeds in my yard, pimples on a teenager, bread in a toaster...you get the point. This location opened a little more than a year ago and now there's one opening near Arundel Mills and PG Plaza. Heck, Five Guys may soon become synonymous with gentrification. But enough ranting, on to the review! Food - Fresh is much better than frozen and it shows. The meat is brown, rather than that grey-ish stuff found in a McD's burger and it tastes fantastic. The hamburger and cheeseburger are actually doubles, while the little's are singles. That makes me think, maybe we should start doing that for Americans. Instead of saying half of Americans are obese, we could follow the Five Guys' nomenclature system and call "average" Americans Little, and skinny people Morbidly Underweight. But I digress. One of the regulars will likely decrease your life expectancy, and significantly so if you get it like I do: Bacon cheeseburger + everything. And you can probably expect to die before you're eligible for retirement if you get it with a bacon cheese dog and seasoned fries like a buddy of mine does, who also happens to be impossibly cut. Life isn't fair, so you may as well go out grubbing! The fries are more boardwalk fry-ish than Burger King-ish, and they have malt vinegar available. What I love is that they measure out the appropriate amount for whatever size you ordered, then fill this silver tray thing and dump a bunch more in your bag. They are also cooked in cholesterol-free peanut oil, which is good because I didn't see a defibrillator in the restaurant. Yes, the burgers do take a long time. To make you feel better about the wait, which can be as long as 15 minutes, Five Guys decides the best way to appease fat people is to give them more food, and they do so in the form of free peanuts. And judging by the number of elephants...errr, patrons happily masticating away while awaiting their number to be called like some heart attack lottery, appeased they are. Location - This particular location is located along a particularly crappy section of Rte. 1, hence the 4 stars. They have an ATM inside, which is nice since it's cash only. This location is sandwiched between a CVS and a Panda Express so you can get your Lipitor prescription filled while you eat and get your RDA of MSG. Five Guys is slowly impregnating the DC Yelp area with their stores and our arteries with their beef. And that's a good thing. read more

I love going to Five Guys, but after visiting this location, I was disappointed. There weren't many customers in there when we walked in, so I know this wasn't from just being too busy. We ordered two cheeseburgers, and I ordered grilled mushrooms on mine, which were missing from the burger. When we received our burgers they were half wrapped in the bag. Half the burger was wrapped, and so the other half was just sticking out of the foil. They were falling apart as were taking them out of the bag. I recommend better quality customer service and care of the food. If we would have taken the burgers home, they would have been fully fallen apart and probably cold. We were lucky we decided to eat in the restaurant. read more

This place is really going downhill when it comes to quality of the food and customer service! I NEVER had an issue post covid! All new crew, none of them are the same crew workers prior to covid, where did they go?! I keep stressing this because maybe the workers need more training, it's not rocket science! The restaurant is easy to get to from Route 1 northbound and southbound. This location is on a strip between Route 1, a few stores down from the CVS. There is also plenty of parking, but lots of entrances to the lot so be careful of cars pulling in and cars parking/exiting parking spots. read more

So I am thinking burger for lunch, so of course I think 5 guys. Then I think I should do a review. These guys can throw down a burger. Thier dogs ain't bad neither. The basic burger is 2 patties and a bun, you can also get cheese and bacon for a small price. If 2 patties is too much they have the same options with 1 patty. Go with 2 patty's, be nice to your self. They also have a fairly long list of toppings. Get what you like but use caution; too many toppings just muddle the flavors. But, hey, it is yours, go for it. As I stated earlier the dogs are good as well. They fry them on the grill so they are yummy, and you can pick from the same list of toppings. The fries, plain or cajun, are really good. They give you a lot of fries...No really, a lot. I work with grown men and we share a regular fry. They also have free peanuts for you to munch while waiting on your burger. Iced tea or soda and that wraps up the menu. Get out there and eat. read more

This is a personal favorite. I love this location and the food is great. Every time I go, I get a Little Bacon Cheeseburger and a regular Cajun fry. If you do the same, you will not be mad. The customer service is TERRIBLE. They send out Door Dash (closed bagged orders) missing entire meals. When you call and tell them all they do is say they will refund the missing food or you have to go get it from them....... They don't care about the delivery fee you've paid and the customer that now doesn't have a meal. This has happened MULTIPLE times from this location in Laurel. Beware.....do NOT order from them unless you are there to handhold their staff to provide you with the items on the receipt. read more
