I always drive by but never stop in, today I tried it out. Tidy and calm inside while all staff kept busy by cleaning or restocking (I like productivity) lol. I was greeted by Tania promptly and given a smile by the gentleman on the grill. I am very pleased with the customer service here! Tania answered all my questions and went to find the answer when she didn't know and read my order back to me (I love confirmation). I did a little research and supposedly Five Guys has one of the top 10 burger chains in the country. With this information and the fact they have a location on Sunrise I thought I'd give them a try. First of all, when calling in the order, they had me on hold for a while...acceptable given it was lunch time. I placed my order and went over to pick up my burger and fries, excited to enjoy something in the In n Out category of burgers. Upon opening the bag, the burger was on the flat side. I chuckled thinking of those old Wendy's commercials and how the pictures don't match the product. That was the case here. Still not a hugely poor showing. However, I tried to enjoy the burger which was dry and definitely not a delicious experience. Reminded me of a hamburger you'd get at a hospital cafeteria. Moreover, I didn't order bacon on my cheeseburger. The fries were okay. I won't be returning to Five Guys....which was the number of people in the restaurant when I picked up my burger. One of the WORST experiences ever. Burgers have no flavor, fries are soggy and their employees (including manager) are clueless. Went in and ordered two burgers, two fries, two drinks--to go. Had to repeat order three times to the girl behind the counter because she couldn't seem to get it right. Tried talking to the manager about it and got a lackadaisical response. Got my food, went out to the car and left. We pull out in traffic on Sunrise and my spouse opens the bag and discovers 1 burger, 1 fry. Terrific. Traffic and the basically crummy attitude of manager was so bad it isn't worth it to drive back--however, I will be contacting their corporate office. I should've had a clue while waiting for my order, I spotted the cooks in the back fooling around and dancing, instead of cooking the food. I will NEVER go here again. At 6 dollars, the burger could have been more composed, rather than look shabby as it was. Bacon was forgotten and a new burger was offered, but I opted just for the 2 strips of bacon. I went in last week for some lunch to go. I don't remember the workers names who were on duty but everyone there was very friendly. Upon my arrival the restaurant was nice and clean which is always a plus. I ordered my burger like I always do with all of my favorite toppings but this day I decided to try one of their signature milkshakes. I never noticed you can add unlimited toppings just like their burgers. So I got a vanilla shake with bacon, Oreos, salted Carmel and chocolate! I know it sounds like something you'd order after a session with Cheech & Chong. lol. But it was freaking delicious! The right amount of each topping was added so it wasn't "too much" at all! Who knew that little bit of saltiness from bacon was so delicious with ice cream! More importantly the lady who made it was just as excited as I was to eat it! So glad a 5 Guys opened up near our home. Although, I really don't like the plaza that it's located in because there's just so much traffic on Sunrise - it's the main reason I don't come here more often. Bright white and red decor as usual. Boxes and boxes of peanuts everywhere. I've never seen them have a long line. I'm usually the next person in line when I walk in. Cashiers are friendly and enthusiastic. Actually, if I had one word to describe the team here it would be "energetic". It's a fun place to eat and I appreciate all the toppings I can add to my burger. I also really love the fries here. First time there, No line, but a super long wait to get food. Food was ok but super pricey. Second time, ordered via app, (left after the 9 mins the app said) still had to wait forever to get my order, (People came in and ordered and got their food, before I got mine). Once we get the order, they got it wrong and forgot items.. Had to wait another 15 mins to finish the order. Get home, and the order was still wrong.... Five Guys taste ok, but is not worth the price or the crappy customer service. Maybe its just the Sunrise location that has issues. I have no desire to go back now. read more

It blows my mind to see so many negative reviews on this company. The atmosphere is loud but who wants to sit in a stuffy burger joint and talk about their Dijon mustard choices. It is fresh food, juicy burgers, unlimited toppings and serving sizes to feed an army. Also you can add Bacon to milk shakes, who does that? If the previous reviewers knew this i bet their tune would be changed. The price is a bit high, but that is probably the only knock on this business. But the food is very good and approaches the pay scale at a consistent rate. I love five guys, unfortunately, it is not in my diet and was much easier to avoid when the closest location was Natomas, but i digress because i can now sneak out of the gym and hit up a Cajun fry and Peanut butter bacon shake.. again who does that!!!! I love being able to pick my toppings including extra whatever you want (which are all free by the way!) and the customer service experience is always stellar! This site has to be a "going concern" because of its hidden location and lack of drive-thru. How can it attract customers if they don't know it's there? I really wanted to like this place, for one thing it is walking distance from my house, and it was named "America's favorite fast food restaurant". I tried this place right after they opened a couple years back and was disappointed. I figured they didn't have all the kinks worked out and would have to come back. Recently I went back and my experience was no better. My first issue is their claim to be "America's favorite fast food restaurant", this means I have to compare them to other fast food restaurants. This location is within two blocks of McDonald's, In-N-Out, Carl's Jr., Jasper's Giant Burgers, and Deny's. For a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink they charge nearly $15.00, In-N-Out charges about half that price. Is it better than In-N-Out, the burger is but the fries are not. Let's look at the burger from the top down. Five Guys proudly hangs a sign on their wall quoting a newspaper saying the buns are "phenomenal". The buns are the same sesame seed buns you can pick-up at any grocery store, or get on any fast food burger. The toppings are standard fare and can be customized. The meat is fresh beef, which is this restaurant's one and only redeeming aspect. The worst part of the meal here is the fries, they use fresh cut fries, which gets your hopes up, but the fry cook will defiantly let you down. They consistently under cook their fries. When I asked to get the fires cooked crispy, the cashier said it was not possible. On the Five Guys website they brag that they don't use timers like their competition. Yes don't copy McDonald's or In-N-Out, who are famous for their fries! The night I was at this location, the customer in front of me walked out because there was a problem with their to-go order. Another customer had a problem with their shake, which required them to visit the counter several times. There was a liquid that was spilled on the floor the entire time I was there. Bottom line, is the burger twice as good as In-N-Out? No! If the meal was priced closer to $10, and the fries were cooked correctly I would come here a lot. Well where to start, I have been to many Five Guys since they arrived to the Sacramento area and this has been the most interesting. First of all they have two of the Coke machines that let you add flavor of choice, but not here all of the flavors are out. Guess I didn't want anyway. The counter where you get your straws is dirty, guess they don't care about it. Now let me get to the food which was ok, but it had issues, the hamburger bun was stone cold. This location is awesome. I Ordered delivery, and had an issue with the delivery and they called door dash to fix it for me and had my food remade. There was zero customer effort involved beyond one phone call and I truly appreciate that. Working from home, chasing toddlers you have no time to deal with cx service issues. This is a new-ish location in our area. I remember our neighbors on NextDoor were all sorts of excited because we have been so far from decent fast food options. My husband and I were jonesing for a burger and decided to try the new 5 Guys. The burgers are really good and I like that you can customize them without a huge up-charge. My husband and I typically order the smaller size cheeseburger and share a small fries because they give you so many! The only downside is that the meal is pretty greasy so this isnt something we are able to eat very often. read more

We went to this restaurant for the fist time a few weeks ago, we liked it so much we went a second time in the same week. Ordered 1 Little Bacon Burger comes with one meat $6.19, 1 Bacon Cheeseburger comes with 2 meats $8.89, 1 Little Cheeseburger $5.89, 1 Hot Dog $4.89, 1 Large Fry $5.79 its large enough for 4 adult, and 4 Regular Sodas $10.80 total was $45.95. Compare to Habit Burger it's little expensive. I prefer Habit Burger but the Five Guys Burger's fries is great. read more

Ridiculous cost for cold, soggy food, in a paper bag! Tried the highly-hyped place, for the first time, with wife and friends. NOBODY in the place welcomed us or was even friendly. Ordered smaller burgers, fries and drinks. All came in a large paper bag, even though they asked if we were eating IN or taking OUT. Why ask, if you're just going to stuff it in a bag? Burgers were buried under the fries and were wrapped in foil, causing them to get very mushy (bread) and meat fell apart. We'll keep going to Jaspers, just across the parking lot, where food quality is always great. Much better pricing too. Access is also very poor, as the mall has many curbs and designated directional paths. One must walk past two other restaurants to find the inconvenient door way. read more

Five stars for Five Guys!! I've had Five Guys Burgers and Fries in other towns when I traveled and always wished there was one close to me in Rancho Cordova. Now, my wish has been granted and Rancho Cordova has a Five Guys!!! The burgers are juicy and hot dogs are great! You can get Hot Dog with bacon and cheese- so good! The burgers are big and the buns are fresh and soft. The buns are one of my favorite things about the burgers. All toppings are free as well so you can have the burger made anyway you wish without an extra cost. I can't say enough good things about their Fries. The potatoes are fresh and they always list where the fries are from. Today, the potatoes are from Mullen Farms in Pasco, WA. While you wait you can snack on peanuts! While there is kids menu they do have a grilled cheese. Milk shakes are also available. read more
