I have a guy friend who I consider to be a hamburger aficionado. I came into work today and told him we were going to eat burgers for lunch. I recently tried Smash Burger because he gave me a BOGO coupon. It was ok, not great, not terrible. So I am hoping 5 Guys is going to be better. I walk in and almost sh*t my pants because I immediately see that a hamburger is 700 calories! I'm told that's a double patty. Ok, phew. I look further and see a little burger for 400 lol. I get that with "all the way" and a small FF and an ice tea. I walk around and see boxes of peanuts in shells; it's help yourself/all you can eat. I nibble on a few. The kitchen is readily visible and clean; I love that! Our burgers come out in brown paper bags; it's hot! I bite into the fresh cut fries first because hot fresh fries are the best! And these were delicious! My burger waits patiently. I unwrap it expecting it to be butt side up. Nope, they are clever and it unfolds right side up! A nice detail. I bite into it and I am pleasantly surprised! It's the perfect ratio of bun to meat to veggies. My lunch mates (both guys) got the double patty and small FF; they finish no problemo. Me? I can only eat half of my burger n FF. The only thing I didn't care for was the watered down ice tea. read more

Mushrooms should not be crunchy. In fact no part of a five guys burger should have a crunchy texture. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier and asked for the burger to be remade to the five guys standard, he refused and offered to put my name in a binder to have the burger remade another day. I had the worst experience there tonight. The employee who took my order (kid with blond long hair and black glasses)had the worst customer service I have ever received. I was next up and before I gave him my order I asked how he was doing because he was a bit short with the people in front of me. He gave me a look of discuss and responded with "I asked you what you wanted." I proceeded to give him my order and then had me repeat it because he missed it. After I waited for 15min I finally got my cold burgers that were done wrong after all that. Rather then ask him to recook them I asked for the toppings I ordered and put them on my self. the customer service here is so good, food is always made right and is hot, and is so good! i do doordash sometimes, and its always so pleasant coming in here. whoever is working usually always asks if i want a drink for myself if there is a wait on the food, which i think is so nice! today i came in around 3:30 and both Shawn and the other man working had exceptionally great service. they gave me a drink for myself, held the door open for me, and overall were just really good with updating me on my order status and getting the food out quick. not even just them but every time i come in i get great service!! read more

Shout out to Landon. If he isn't manager already please look into some sort of promotion or raise. I ordered delivery through an app and the delivery app driver never got to the restaurant. I called and asked them if they can remake it, or did I have to go through the app. He was so kind and understanding and remade the whole meal so I could pick it up. He even said on the phone that if the delivery person showed up he wasn't going to send them off with that meal as it had been sitting for well over an hour and a half. He didn't have to remake my food, they could have easily just sent off the driver with old limp food. While they have high ticket prices, you can't beat that level of customer service for burgers. read more

Ordered online, got home with order & burger had no meat on it! I called & the manager promised to replace the burger & refund my $. When I got there, they refused to give the refund. Replacement burger had wrong & missing condiments & meat was cold. Food prep areas were dirty & Employees didn't seem to care. There are lots of other burger places nearby that don't charge $10.27 for a burger with no meat. I've had great experiences at other Five Guys, but this one was terrible. We won't be back. read more

Walked in and people were friendly, waited for some hot fries (which I definitely didn't mind). 28 bucks for 2 big burgers and a large fries not too bad but definitely of the higher side for some burgers. Fires are amazing munched on them all the home. But got home and unwrapped the burger and it was disappointing. I was going to still give it a try, my first bite my patty's almost slipped off completely and it was a bite full of ketchup buns. Seriously?? The patty would not stay on the buns!! I decided to check it out inside and I immediately knew why... because the buns were soaked in ketchup. I only got 4 things on my burger and ketchup was the only thing I could notice. The buns were inedible. I had to eat the patty with my hands and after 3 bites ended up throwing it away, not before noticing my patties were 2 different sizes!!! Like really???? I paid for 2 regular sizes, not one regular and one little! I really do wish this place could work on the way they build, because it had so much potential. I don't give 1- or 2-stars, unless it is a fast food restaurant for a take-out order, in which case, a failure to fulfill the order is generally dispositive of my review. They did not give us our order of regular fries. They put mushrooms on a burger where we specifically said no mushrooms. Both these mistakes are reflected on the receipt. The burgers were good, notwithstanding the mushrooms, but fulfilling the order completely is one of the reasons that I am loyal to other fast food establishments. read more

We just ordered from door dash. One of the items was missing. I called the store and they basically said sorry about your luck. Part our fault part DoorDash for driver not checking order. I hang up and reorder the missing item. I check the food we did get and it's cold and soggy! This is a damn good burger. Something that you would make at home with care love and all the ingredients when you are in the mood to make a bad ass burger. Doesn't taste like fast food. I had heard all of the hype about Five Guys, and that the burgers were rated the best. We got lunch here today. The customer service was great, very friendly and outgoing. The prices are a little too much for me because the quality doesn't match the prices. We got two bacon chesseburgers, two fries and two shakes. One of the burgers didn't have the pickles I had asked for and the other they forgot the ketchup. The cashier even read back our order so the cook must really have not been paying attention. The burger honestly was kind of bland, and soggy. The taste just wasn't there and there was hardly any bacon on it. The fries were okay...I was disappointed after reading about all the awards they had won. For 40 bucks on lunch, I would expect better quality. Sorry not better then In-N-Out burgers! read more

HORRIBLE! They try to say they charge so much because of quality. What quality?! A whopper is better! A whopper. Their burgers are mediocre, if that. Their fries were over-salted and not very large for a large. Then they tried to tell me that a small burger is actually big. It wasn't. I guess I must have missed the option of cajun fries cause I ordered the regular. I added added a drink and 17.00 later I got my food in a timely manner. Now for the service. The cashier was tired or just didn't want to be there. He didn't even make suggestions. Even after I mentioned I hadn't been there before. The fries were very salty and oily. The burger was eh. I'm still unsure why this place is only 2.5 stars. I grew up on Five Guys and this location is consistent with all the other places I've had across the country... Here are some facts about Five Guys for those first timers 1. There are 2 types of burgers here. Burger or Little Burger. Anything with Little in front of it means 1 patty. A regular Burger has 2 patties. 2. Five Guys has hot dogs too 3. When you order fries, they put the size you ordered in a cup, place it in the bag, and then dump an extra scoop of fries into your bag. Regardless of what size you order. 4. They wrap their burgers in foil. So.. if you don't eat it soon, the heat/steam from the burger will soak into your buns. It's science. They actually put the buns on the grill to give it that nice crisp insides. 5. You can request them to put bacon in your shakes. 6. The FRIES ARE AMAZING. It's cut daily and posted where the potatoes are from in the store. Dip it in ketchup or get your fries seasoned. It's still miles better than In-N-Out. 7. Lastly, if you have peanut allergies, do not even step foot into the store. Five Guys offers unlimited peanuts to crack and eat as you wait for your food. If you take your food to go, you can ask for an extra bag to scoop up some peanuts to go as well. If you order a burger, drink, and fries, it will go over $10 easily. However, I believe the price is worth it. You have so many toppings you can add - all free of charge. From grilled onions, mushrooms, green peppers, jalapenos, all different sauces, etc. For those comparing this to In-N-Out across the street, Five Guys is in a different level. I love In-N-Out too. It's really what you are in the mood for. Five Guys has thicker patties, juicier, more toppings, and better fries. If you want to treat yourself a bit better today, then come in and grab a bite. Had a bacon burger with medium fries. I've heard good things, and will probably try them again, but I was not blown away. I grew up in LA eating In-N-Out, and felt like a cheater because they are basically across the street, but I don't discriminate against cheeseburger joints. I was very busy and ate the burger while driving, and may have woofed it down too fast to properly judge. Next time I'll come when I can sit and eat at a slower pace. It was messy like a burger should be, but tuff when your driving. The napkins are too small and thin to get more than a wipe or two off your face, so grab a handful. I will never return to this location. The customer service was more then bad it was horrible. The man who claimed to be the store's manager did not show the professionalism expected for somebody who hold such title for such a respected business. The food took forever to be made. To not even taste as well as other stores I've tried. When i first ate at this establishment it was run by capable man. A friend of mine was also disgusted and claims to have found a cockroach in the bathroom. I would recommend that no one go there. there's a better location in North Natomas. Back to my experience at this place. It wasn't good! I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon, a regular fries and a regular drink. Total cost, over $17 bucks! Food came in a paper bag. They have no plates, dishes or even trays! The buns of my burger were cold, so was the patties now come to think of it. I don't know why. I ignored all of that and started eating my food. One word - mediocre! Perhaps even BELOW average. I honestly should have walked across the street to in n out! No regrets though because I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time. Now that I have I know better - will not be returning to this place! I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one because the fries weren't that bad. Save your money.
