Normally when I come here the service is on point and I enjoy my time dining. This time though, the music was so loud the lady taking my order couldn't hear anything we were saying. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, my son ordered a regular bacon cheeseburger, she heard double cheeseburger on both...neither one of us were able to finish our food because of that. I was hungry and kind of in hurry so I didn't even look at the receipt. I had to make a phone call (which is another reason I didn't look at the receipt) and because it was so loud in the restaurant (and outside) I had to go stand in the middle of the parking lot to get away from the music (in 100+ temps). Anyway, the employees seem to be more interested in partying to their loud music than paying any attention to customers today. Hopeful it was just a fluke. I really like this place. I love this place, food is always made fresh and prepared right in front of you. They don't charge for toppings and the burgers are big and filling. Me and my wife usually get burgers (little burger for her) and a regular fry to split, the large is huge. They now have a little size for the fry too. I have visited this place several times and enjoyed their burgers but this time the food was awful. The bread was cold and old!! The meat was over cooked and had no flavor. The tomatoes were not fresh and they put cheese on my husbands order. The place was freezing so it was very uncomfortable to attempt to eat my bun less dry burger. I spoke to the manager and she gave me excuse after excuse. I could tell she was upset about my complaint. She did apologize and offer to make me another burger but by then I had lost my appetite and I just wanted to leave that ice box. I told her we would not be back and she said what did ocean thee to do , that she had offered to make me another burger. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this place is awesome! It never fails to please me. Cheap? Depends on what you get. Ordered large fries and got a bag full of them that wasn't finished. I love 5 Guys, generally speaking. This one is okay, a little subpar for the chain. Service is usually not bad, but food is sloppy and often incorrect. Yesterday me and my boyfriend's first visit. I've drove by numerous times and always wondered if it was good. Upon walking in, all I see is reviews from different magazines, etc. I was excited because all the reviews said that they were the best burger in town (but confused because I have never heard much hype about it). Looking at the menu, I was taken back. The menu is very limited. If you didn't want burgers and you walked in there looking for something else, you would be disappointed. But, thinking the normal size burger would be too much for me, I got the little burger and my boyfriend got the normal one with the smallest size of fries. The drink machine is what you're paying for. It's a high tech, touch screen with about 20 different drink choices. While waiting for our food, we noticed people were eating peanuts. Looking around to where they were getting them from, we found them right in front of the cashier. But not even a few minutes later our order number was called, so we didn't get any. In my opinion, it would have been nice for our cashier to let us know about the peanuts or something, but she looked like she was over it when we walked in. But what are you supposed to expect at a restaurant like that (it's not Chick-Fil-A)! When we got our food, it came in a brown paper bag... Nothing special there. When we took our burgers out the fries at the bottom were grease soaked just laying at the bottom, all squished by our food. So I took them out, while they were very fresh, they were also very very greasy. And aside from the grease they were nothing special. No spices or anything, I didn't even taste salt. We both agreed our burgers were nothing special. While they weren't bad at all, they were bland. No spices on the meat, nothing was special about the bun. They have so much they can be creative with and they didn't! Like I said, they were not bad burgers, but the best in town? I don't think so. While we didn't have any major complaints, we most likely won't be back. read more

First time, probably the last. The burger came out very hot, that was good, but it had a gamy taste to the meat. The veggies on the burger were wilted, and not much lettuce, the tomato was a bit pithy. Why they put them in aluminum foil is beyond me, the burger gets soggy very quickly, and who needs more aluminum in their diet. Give me a Smash Burger or IN-N-OUT any day. They are way over priced for what you get. Should I give them another try? Oh, and the music could be turned down a couple of notches. No I don't think I'll give them another try. read more

Yummy! These burgers taste like they just came off my hubby's grill. I think they add a bit of cayenne but I can't tell for sure.

Love this place. The food is great and they are very fast and accurate. They give you a huge amount of fries filling the bottom of a huge bag. I definitely plan on coming back here in the future and also recommending it to my friends. read more

Wow they're not joking here Large means LARGE.' The burger was good, but not out of this world, I had the "little cheeseburger," I thought it was an average size. I did enjoy that you could add as many toppings as you wanted for free, but I can see why some people think it's expesive well ordering a la carte can add up quick. My husband & the boys are frequent patrons here. My oldest son asks to go there every weekend. The portion of the fries is so good to share with the whole family. My husband & twins also enjoy the FREE peanut. We go there so often that sometimes they throw us a free drink! read more

I can see from other reviews that I am in the minority here, but here is my review......... First visit ever to five guys today, ordered a cheeseburger, fries and coke to go. 1. Girl at register kept telling me how big the portions were and tried to down sell me....odd. 2. Ketchup packets were all sticky and gross. 3. Burger seemed okay till I lifted the bun to add salt and was horrified to see and smell rotten lettuce, not just brown around the edges lettuce we are talking slimy, brown to the core stinky, dry heave lettuce. I actually took the top bun and patty off, for fear of getting sick, and ate the rest....not very good. 4. The fries were a soggy oily mess, of the 8 I ate, I had to smash them in napkins to get the oil out.....gross. For 15 bucks I expected waaaaay better! On the same par as Wendy's.
