Unfortunately this was less than my Five a Guys Standards being that it's a family favorite. Three people inside plus my daughter and I. The soda machine stayed out of coke after my three pleas for them to fill it or refund me. The two other folks eating were employees and got their food first as well as hung out with other employees while we waited for our food and soda. We waited for 23 minutes before I bothered them and we still didn't have our soda lol we weren't in a hurry, just more annoyed than anything. Not our regular location so whatever. But my goodness. Totally different from one location to the next and that's probably a downside to being privately owned. I also visited in September of 2019 while taking my daughter to college so it's been awhile but I definitely wanted to share my experience. I'm fighting for the locals. They deserve a good Five Guys! Five guys has a certain spot for hamburgers for me. Their burgers are more of the classic greasy cheeseburgers. But I do enjoy them though. Five guys burgers are juicier with a thicker Patty and a meat just shines. I'm glad that they opened five guys near me because I get cravings for it every so often. I also do love the peanuts that they give you. It makes the waiting so much easier. Although sometimes I do find myself stuffing myself with a peanuts to the point where I'm too full to finish my burger. The customer service also is good here. I remember one time they messed up my order and the manager offered me a 20 dollar voucher for my next visit as well as fixing my order. It was not their fault but rather online ordering but they still made things right. That definitely got me back as a returning customer. Five years ago, I tried their burger in Point Loma when it first opened and now this is only my second time having another burger from Five Guys. A friend of mine wanted to meet for lunch and chose this place, which was convenient for me since it was minutes from my work. My coworker and friend both got the regular burger, which comes with two patties! I decided on the little burger, large Cajun fries, and an Oreo milkshake. They have a variety of toppings for no extra charge, so you can choose them to your liking. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to put the amount of calories of each item on the menu, because it made me feel like a pig LOL. While waiting for our food to be ready, I got some of the complimentary peanuts to share with everyone. Everything was so tasty and fresh!! I forgot how good their burger is. The fries were very flavorful as well, but some of them were a little too salty. The fries overflowed into the bag, so we essentially got twice as much fries. The milkshake was really creamy and not too thick, so I was able to suck it up without using a spoon. Got food here today, one the service is extremely slow it wasn't busy when we walked in and it took a half hour to get the food. We waited time on the shake. I got lettuce and green pepper on my burger both were not fresh the lettuce was very obviously bad as it was turning black. As I wrote this review I got to the bottom of my milkshake and I honestly can't tell what is on the bottom of the cup, it is either a burn mark, mold or chocolate it does not come off when I scrape whatever it is with my straw. read more

That one burger joint that sells massive burgers and massive fries! Okay well they have the option of a regular burger, cheeseburger, or bacon cheeseburger, which is big enough to feed two regular people. OR you can go with the "little" versions of these burgers, which is more like a regular burger. Their ingredients are fresh, the burger patties are juicy, and you can use any combination of toppings. And not to mention their fries are literally double sized of what you normally get because they're known for overfilling the fries cup, which is pretty awesome and you can't never complain about extra fries?! Although the prices do add up quickly, we got two bacon cheeseburgers, one regular fries, and drinks for nearly $30, which is much more than we'd like to pay for fast food. Ya know, for a burger place I think it's pretty stellar. That said, I reserve a 5 star review for Rockys or hodads, but this burger comes close. Fwiw I'm "eh" on in n out, and don't like steak shack. So I came here a few days back on a lunch break from work. You walk in and can't help but notice all the "claims to fame" all over the walls, meaning all the awards they have won for their food. The great thing about Five Guys is you can customize your burger however you would like from the list their available toppings. You can also order any topping on the side if you want to try something but aren't 100% sure about it. The burgers are very tasty and I have never had a problem with my order. My burger is always perfectly cooked and topped just the way I want it. The fries are amazing and I love them with the cajun seasoning. If you want to split your fries but not everyone wants cajun seasoning, get the seasoning on the side and shake it with the fries in a bag. They come out great! Came into Five Guys today with a big order. There were two people working when I walked in, I apologized in advance to the employee that took my order and proceeded to order almost 50 burgers. He called out his coworkers and told everyone to clock in and start making some burgers. Within minutes I think there were maybe seven people working. All of our kids got to eat warm burgers that were brought out almost all at the same time. They had enough seating to accommodate for all of us to be seated, and everyone had a great time! Came for lunch today (sunday). Service is ok, used to be better when i went last year. The main issue i had was that my bacon burger was extremely bland. I went to this location just to try the Hamburger because I heard from someone that i should just try it if I really like hamburgers,so on my day off I went in to try just one hamburger .. First off all i was shocked by the price $13 for just a hamburger , nothing else ...so i said to myself ( it better be a great hamburger for $13 plus tax) because i could have gotten a meal somewhere else...Then the burger came and when i opened it up after great anticipation ,it was dripping with grease,the bun was so saturated with grease that i wondered if i should take it back to get my money before i get sick .. i told myself no I came all the way down here and paid for it ,just try it , it might be good... I love this place! Way better than the Habit, in my opinion. They have a ton of options for toppings, so given my love for big flavor I opted to put jalapeños, hot sauce, and raw onions added to my burger (which was delicious, by the way). I also ordered some cajun fries and even though I typically don't like thick fries, I was pleasantly surprised with how good they were. It wasn't a cheap meal necessarily, but it was absolutely delicious! The service was as quick as it could've been given the snail's pace that the small group in front of me took ordering. My one complaint was that I ordered a single patty--I'm not a big eater--and they gave me a double. I'm not sure what they charged me or if I ordered incorrectly, but since the burger was good, I'd definitely be back. read more
