Five Star Pizza? More like Six Star Pizza. After our first visit, we were amused by the "dine in" option they provide with a single table by the counter. So we decided to come back and use it! They let us set up a tablecloth, we had small battery candles, and they even sent out one of our employees to be our "waitress". We also noticed that they switched the music part of the way through our meal to slow piano to fit our fancy date night which was very cute. Sadly, though Five star has great pizza at a great price -- I will NOT order from them ever again. Their pizza delivery guy was a rude person and deceived me when it came to tipping. I asked him to get the soda while I put the pizza away and he was like.. " I need you to sign this first" ( the tip receipt ) he then pretended to go out to his car and retrieve the soda -- that he did NOT have and then say "Bad News I forgot the soda" Oh, well then that makes a LOT of sense why you'd want me to sign the tip paper first. Then he had the audacity to ask me if I still wanted it. Did I pay for it? Yes. Do I want it? Duh. When I told him he should have just been honest about not having the soda -- I would have still tipped him as I know things happen. Instead he got nasty and rude. Called the store GM and asked that a note be placed on my file that the idiot driver never deliver to us again and he said that he couldn't guarantee it. Well with that particular employee with as rude as he was I would not put it past him to spit in our food, therefore I cannot order from them anymore. The GM said he had been around a while, so my hopes of his terrible customer service skills getting him canned seem non- existent. Very rude delivery driver.... The reciept said his name was ADAM GRAYSON......I only had a dollar to tip him and said I was sorry ill get you next time.... Food is good but service not so good. This is my 3rd time dealing with delivery. They advertise they're open late but act like the phone not working kept getting sent to machine for 1.5 hours before stated closing . Ordered a large Hawaiian for delivery. Arrived fast, 15 min or so on a Saturday around 5pm. Pizza was hot but seemed a bit undercooked and greasy for my taste. Amount of toppings was good. Sauce was distributed unevenly. Was so-so overall. Maybe will try again another time, maybe not. Nothing special. read more

Best tasting pizza in Jacksonville, Florida hands down! That said, they have the worst customer service, confusing hours of operation and are an overall disappointment in performing basic marketing duties. If you look online they're open Wednesdays from 4AM - 1AM. I just called to have a pizza delivered to a location they've delivered to in the past and they told me that its outside of their delivery radius. I asked to speak to a manager, was placed on hold for 5 minutes and when i hung up and called back the same guy (who I know isn't the manager as I've met him in person) answered, lied about being the manager and stated that there was a 'carryout only' note on my phone number.Smh...and considering their lack of business/marketing mngm't skills they probably won't even see this review for a year or two. read more

This pizza place has the best hours on earth! They are open until 2 am on friday, saturday and sunday. Their delivery is only 99cents and there is no minimum. Im not sure if that will change but im sure it wont. They are super fast and the pizza is sooo good. I normally dont like a lot of pizza but this place is soo good. When they say extra cheese they really mean extra cheese, none of that fake dominos or pizza hut extra cheese. Their pizza rolls are kind of pricey but you can probably get them free with their various coupons they got floating around. This place is soo good. If youwant something different from your normal pizza then this is the place to go. You gotta try them out and decide for yourself. My staff and I used to order from this place all the time, but their General Manager (or who I was told is the General Manager) is extremely rude. Our establishment gets Hospitality Reward Cards for referring our guests to use this establishment over other pizza places, and this woman acts like she's upset when my staff tries to redeem their pizza using these cards. If she doesn't want to extend the free pizza to my staff, then we shouldn't be given those cards by delivery drivers! She shouldn't be in a customer service role if she's going to have a horrible attitude and I will never recommend this place EVER again to my guests! The quality of food is very good, but she just ruined the chance of ever getting business from this establishment. All their menus and flyers have been thrown away! read more

A little disappointed, I place an order over the phone for delivery only to get a ring when my pizza is ready to come pick it up, cause 4.5 miles is out of their range... The pizza is great I use to frequent the one in Murray Hill, but could've told me prior to taking my order completing it that I'm not in range. 4.5 miles isn't far according to Google, seems like they didn't want to travel the distance through the 5 I clock traffic which they expected me to do to get there and back with a pizza that would end up cold by the time I got home. Five Star is a fairly suitable name. Being from up north I'm used to less chain restaurants and more mom n pop family type places that have workers that have been there 20-30+ years and quality is controlled. I'm picky about pizza and would never choose/pay to eat Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns and Little Caesar's unless its free n I'm starving or offered. This place is definitely a good pizza place especially for a franchise. I order all the time from here and they're service is good,as well as the food. The people on the phone hook me up and the drivers are here in 25 minutes tops even though they say 35-40 minutes with hot pizza. People who have bad experiences must talk rude and don't tip well. I felt the urge to leave a review after reading some and ordering a piezilla which came with pep and ham and I said I wanted a Hawaiian w out ham and just pepperoni and pineapple. I wasn't that heartbroken I would've ate it no problem especially after asking for thin crust on just the edges and butter n garlic that comes one the rolls, on the crust being they don't have flavored crust, if it wasn't to much trouble and if not it's ok. So I called back saying I don't like to complain but the pizza was wrong and if they could leave a note for next time for a deal or something they could do. Hoping for a brownie honestly. He understood put me on hold and he came back saying they'll make me a new one and sent it out in 15 minutes. a $30+ pizza. People leaving bad reviews don't know how to talk to people with respect and feeling superior because they're paying. i ordered and picked up a 24" pizza for me my husband and my 3 kids yesterday and when i got home and opened the box there was a palmetto bug crawling over the pizza. ( the box remained closed prior to this) and when we called to let them know they offered us another pizza at 25% of the cost.... which is crazy because we just paid 30.00 for a pizza we could not eat now you want us to pay more money??? the pizza went in the garbage as did our love for five star... never again!!! read more
