4.5 Stars I was debating off and on if I wanted a massage this past weekend. The place I originally wanted to go was fully booked but I found this place on Yelp and decided to give them a try. It's located upstairs in Diamond Jamboree and faces Alton street. The only other reflexology place I've frequented was Dragon Fly Massage in Brea (definitely recommend! I've never had a bad experience!) Parking: it's always a nightmare here during peak hours and I was worried about my 5:30PM appointment on Sunday, but I was super lucky and found a parking spot even though there were so many cars driving in the lot looking for parking. When I left at 6:30PM, it took a while to exit the plaza. I don't understand why there isn't an exit that takes you directly onto Jamboree. Service: I requested a firm deep tissue 1 hour massage in a private room. The private room was clean and dimly lit. Yo-Yo (pronounced You-You) was my masseuse and she did a fantastic job. Although she spoke very limited English and didn't understand English she did check on me to see if the amount of pressure was too much. Not only did she massage me but also stretched me out and tried to crack my back and ankles. Some people may be turned off by it but I liked it. Was I worried if she was going to injure me? Somewhat yes because it was totally unexpected for a deep tissue! But turns out I've been feeling fine so far! For the value and availability this is a great spot! My upper back was sore the following day but I expected that - I had knots on my shoulders. I really don't know how she was able to put in so much effort for the entire hour! It was $45 and I tipped You-You $20. Appointment: I called on Sunday at 4:30PM and they were able to see me at 5:30pm. The male operator asked the type of massage, duration, preference for a male or female masseuse, time, and my phone number. I've been seeing a masseuse in HB and can definitely tell the difference between a professional and a reflexology place but due to the price, this place is still good. Would I come back? Yes but only during non peak hours because I can't deal with the crazy parking. read more

Tucked away on the second floor of a complex right off of jamboree road. This a a great value massage spa. This is not the Four Seasons or Burke Williams so don't expect a private room with all the bells and whistles. If you get a full body massage, you get "room" which is a curtained off corner in the communal massage area. What you will get a good massage for a great price. definitely my new go to spot for massages in irvine. i only go for foot massages, so i cant say for full body or any other type of service. the inside is very clean, and all the massage technicians are considerate and polite. everything is customizable, so you can tell them exactly what you want, how hard or soft, where you want them to focus on, etc. pricing is super reasonable considering its in irvine. read more

I think masseuses know what they're doing. Used a lot of oil, had good pressure. HOWEVER now hear me out - wear underwear.

Nice place for massages. Clean table and good service. They welcome walk-ins but once in while all the massage therapists are all booked therefore appointment is highly recommended. The only complaint I have is sometimes some of the clients did not silent their phones during the service, which is not very courteous as everyone is enjoying their massages in the big common room. read more

I had an amazing experience. I was looking for the perfect pressure and Mike delivered. It is very hard to find a therapist for deep tissue. Receptionist was very friendly and explained to my therapist what i was looking for. They had this new system where it allows you to say where in your body you would like more work. Since my last review, I've requested for back-only deep tissue massages. It isn't on the menu, but I've been able to get the type of massage I request for a modified price of course. At the front lobby, there is an iPad with a diagram of a body. You circle the areas where you would like them to focus on. I'm assuming this is to help with any miscommunication or language barrier. Every time I've requested for a deep tissue back massage, I've always had a "private" room, basically curtains that separate you from the rest of the large room. They will ask you if you prefer oil or no oil and if you want them to turn the heater on for the bed.(something that isn't offered if you are getting a usual service in the large room) I always prefer oil and since it's a private room, it's okay with them that you take your clothes off, since you are covered with a sheet any way. I always remove all articles of clothing except for the undies. Lol. The massage therapist is usually always good at keeping all parts that need to be covered, covered during the session. So far, so good. Still my go-to. read more

Officially my favorite massage spot! The staff here was so helpful, welcoming, and polite. Make sure to ask for a male / female masseuse depending on your preference as it is a common room. They have many options for massages depending on your preference. I went for the 40 minute body, 30 min feet massage and OMG, I felt amazingly relaxed. The other thing I love about five star is that their prices aren't crazy, especially being in Irvine. They priced mine at $36 which was just awesome. About the location- it's in diamond jamboree which is notorious for its difficult parking at times lol. So if you're coming at a peak time, ensure you leave a good amount of time to find parking! Love this place for a quick massage sesh. Kevin is the best! Get there at least 15mins before your appointment though because the parking situation in that plaza is a nightmare. Called about their coupon and availability. Painful conversation with a gentleman that doesn't speak or understand English unfortunately but another employee called since the first person was unable to relay my message and after a lengthy explanation that the first person doesn't speak and understand English answering the phone, my basic questions regarding the simple coupon with 4 deals they provide still wasn't able to be answered accordingly. Based on their response: "You can't order steak with a salad price" clearly shows they can read English but can't speak it and do not understand how their explanation of their prices is not apparent enough and was lost in translation. If they wanted my business, they need to be more customer friendly when a simple question is asked and not attempt to convince me to pay for something I didn't need. Fortunately I was able to find such a place and invested in a package deal that I could frequent regularly since they explained the offer clearly and concisely, as well as were accommodating and not condescending about things I didn't understand. The company I went to instead of this one will definitely get my future business, in addition to my recommendations for other friends to frequent. read more

I just found this place on Yelp. The substitute receptionist named Kevin was really rude. He kept changing the times of the appointment and telling me to not speak English in a demanding tone. He freaked out the moment I asked for his name thinking I was going to make a complaint. Well, this is not a complaint. This is just a courtesy for the customers and the manager/owner to be wary of Kevin being the receptionist due to his lack of interpersonal communication skills. I'm sure he may okay at massages, but I would not recommend him to be greeting customers. read more

Not your typical fancy expensive spa, however, they have a few good therapists there that I would recommend for some good results. I usually do the 1 hour table massage because my problem areas are usually neck, shoulder and low back. If you want a good feet rub/reflexology, go see Ben. Even my mom recommends him. He's thorough with his techniques and really work out the aches in your feet. If you want a therapeutic/deep tissue, go see Ashley and Kevin. Ashley really listens to the areas you want her to focus on. She's able to tell just by doing a few stretches/warm up techniques. She didn't give me a foo-foo massage and only concentrated on these three areas. She can go deep if you want her too (strong hands!) but you need to let her know if you can handle the deep pressure. Painful but good pain. I was sore the next day but usually felt better, taller and stretched out. :) I like her techniques because it's not all poking me with her elbow. Kevin's technique slightly different. He also listens to what areas you want to focus on and goes in a slower pace. One time he used his knees to work on my low back (by standing on the table first of course. lol) He also stretches your body out, which is very helpful. Give these therapists a try. They work hard and hopefully you'll agree with my assessment too. :) read more

Decent prices. $45 for hour long full body massage. They have "private" rooms which are just curtained off from the main room where they give chair massages. You can literally hear everything so if there's no music (there was none when i went) just hope the other patrons are quiet. There was an extra $5 charge for them to use organic coconut oil but no clue if thats what they actually used. The masseuse herself was awesome. She frequently checked if the pressure was ok and used hot stones. There was very little time dedicated to feet in the full body massage- my husband experienced the same. read more

I hate to give this place 2 stars, but I'm giving it 2 stars because of the massage therapist who sometimes mans the front desk. No, not Richard, he's very nice and courteous, but there's a very rude male massage therapist who makes going to get a massage here extremely unsatisfactory. This is not a one-off experience we've had here, in fact, it's been multiple times where we've had to deal with this guy. Most other experiences have been 5+ stars, but I literally can't stand this guy. 1. He will always tell you that they don't take card when they do (with $1 surcharge). 2. He will call you cheap and act like he doesn't understand what you're saying if he feels like you don't tip enough. And I think we tip adequately. 3. He's rude when you try to schedule with him over the phone. 4. He's messed up our scheduling appointment in the past, telling us that the time we scheduled for is open, but when we go in, the time was never scheduled. 5. Yesterday, we were hoping to get a great massage from there since they've opened back up, but our massages ended with them stomping loudly twice and turning the lights up, presumably to wake us up and get us out once our massages ended. 6. Like I said, we tried to pay with card as we always do, but he told us (again) that they've never taken card. I told him that we always pay with card, but he said that the card machine will not be open for another two months (which doesn't make sense....), so we had to be walked down to the ATM and grab cash, which was a bit inconvenient. I'm not going to lie though, the massage was not bad, but every interaction with him cancels that out. I will only be coming back as a customer if he doesn't work there anymore, otherwise I'm gone as a customer. ANYWAY, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT MASSAGE THERAPIST, ASK FOR DANIEL! Usually 5/5 when the main front desk guy is working. I believe his name is Richard, he is friendly and nice. When one of the therapist is working the front desk, please avoid this place. He's messed up our appointment time in the past, unfriendly, makes rude remarks and made us go to the ATM to pull out cash. At least give us a heads up before coming. Wendy is really good! I prefer medium to hard massages, mostly hard, and she was able to deliver. Excellent stretching too (my back cracked twice!). I was a little concerned that the hot stones were placed on the ground prior to touching my bare skin, but at least the oil and dirt was cleaned off by hot rags after so I didn't mind it too much. Don't bother paying $5 extra for coconut oil because it's going to get wiped off anyway. Besides, is it even organic? LoL Anyway, I came at 4:30pm on a Sunday and found parking easily. Avoid meal times at all costs, unless you allow yourself 15-20 mins to find parking and are an aggressive driver. Pay cash and avoid paying a credit card fee. read more

Best & most affordable full body massages I've gotten. My bf & I are making it our weekly must now. Richard the front desk guy is super nice & has a very calming & comforting demeanor. Each time we've come around 8-9pm and we're the only 2 in the "community" like rooms. All beds are far apart and rooms are separated by large curtains. Before they start your reflexology they soak your feet in hot water & lotion the up. Hi here guys are all trained & skilled the same. I assume there is a certain standard they all must provide. I'm writing this review on behalf of my friend who is too nice and doesn't like writing bad reviews for businesses. He set up an appointment for early January to get a massage. He asked for a deep tissue massage. The employee asked if he liked a deeper massage, and my friend said he did. The male employee that gave the massage began by walking on his back, which my friend was not comfortable with. For the rest of the massage the employee did not use any oil and gave what my friend describes as the most painful massage he's ever had. The employee used his hands, elbows, and even a plastic tool vigorously on his back without any oils or creams. My friend continually asked him to go softer, and kept squirming and readjusting, clearly uncomfortable, but the employee did not change. The massage was supposed to be 90 minutes, but after 30 minutes my friend was in so much pain that he asked for them to stop. The employee, who did not speak English well at all, thought my friend wanted an even deeper massage and tried bringing a larger gentleman to do it. My friend, in a lot of pain, just wanted to leave and had to pay the full price for a 90 minute massage. The only thing they offered him was a $2 coupon. Once my friend got home, he saw what they had done to his back. He tried getting a refund through the business and the credit card company, but they refused to help him. The picture says it all. I don't know how this spa has so many positive reviews, but clearly if they are harming people in this way, they should not be in business. read more

The manager reached out to me seeing that my first experience was not up to my standards and offered me a complimentary massage since they are all about "100% customer satisfaction". I thought that was very thoughtful on their end and decided to take their offer on it and get a massage from a different person this time around. I went back with my fiancé today and I received a massage from Steven and he got a massage from Danny. Steven's massage techniques blew me away and he was able to get out all the kinks and tightness around my neck and shoulder area. His applied pressure was just what I was looking for and I left so happy. I'm glad that I gave this place another shot and I now know who I'll be asking for the next time I'm back again. My mom and I had the C1 Combo massage. The check-in was fast, easy, and efficient. The massage was extremely relaxing. They take their time going over any problem areas.
