I heard subtle sound and as I pulled off to the next exit my stomach sank seeing the damage. I quickly drove back home and contacted my friend that has a clear bra shop and he recommended Mark at Philip Thearles Autowerks. I got Marks number and gave him a call. He really helped me through the whole process and made me feel much more comfortable then what I was anticipating. Mark answered all my questions and gave me everything for the next step. Truly this was the best person to handle my situation since I do not trust really anyone. This car has been with me for 10 years and it holds a special place for me. I never dealt with this before on such an expensive vehicle. Fast forward Mark was kind enough to pick up the car, send me the estimate all within a few hours before the end of the day. He also had the bumper(main damaged area) off and checked to asses any other damage that could not be seen. He submitted everything to the insurance and I really did not have to do anything other than a phone call to my insurance and a couple emails. Following the next week the parts were ordered since the approval was done. I got text and picture updates of everything that was happening. I really appreciated this as I like to document the whole process. You really can tell Mark and his shop care about customer service and making you feel at ease. What I can say about the final end of the repair since a new bumper had to be ordered and repainted in Lava Orange. It looks like nothing happened! It looks better than Brand new. The paint matches exactly the rest of the car. Another thing that I was a bit worried but as you can see in some of the photos, you cannot tell the difference. When the car was ready I got a nice tour of the huge facility that is state of the art and they are Porsche certified! I am truly thankful for Mark and the shop getting this done within less than a month. I really do appreciate the whole process. No one wants to go through this but Philip Thearles Autowerks is the place to go for your automobile repairs / body shop.

Estimate was just the right amount and the staff was great and really know what customer service is. I got my car earlier than the estimated finish date and i was glad i went to Duggan's for the repair because they made my car look like as if the dent and deep paint-off scratches wasn't there at all. Sam Hill, the manager, made the whole process go smoothly. My car's was damaged at a car wash. I was required by them to get two estimates to repair my roof. Since I drive a Hyundai I went to them first. They recommended Mark Motors body shop. The second estimate I got was from a local car dealer. Mark Motors body shop was the one selected. While Mark Motors was fixing my roof I was also in need of a rental car which I got from Enterprise car rental on Magnolia in El Cajon. Everyone there went above and beyond and was amazing!! The next time I need a car rental I will definitely go to them. The whole time Mark Motors had my car, Sam Hill, the manager kept me up on what was going on. He was very nice, and knowledgeable. He kept me and the car wash abreast often Sam said that he would take care of me and my baby. And he did!! I was extremely happy with the outcome. They also coordinated with car rental agency to pick me up to get my rental car. On May 5, I hit a plastic object on the freeway that caused significant damage to my BMW. My…read moreinsurance company paid Classic Collision in La Mesa $17,272 to replace the bumper, radiator, AC condenser, and related components. On May 29, I picked up the vehicle after 24 days in the shop. The air conditioning was not working. A Classic Collision employee, Pablo Sardin, came out and confirmed that the AC was not functioning. While we were inspecting the vehicle, I also noticed that the windshield was cracked. The windshield was not cracked when the vehicle left my home. Classic Collision denied responsibility. Because the shop was closing for the weekend, I drove the vehicle home. Pablo emailed me stating that manager Hector Rodriguez would contact me, but I never received a call. One email stated that I should take the vehicle to BMW for repair. A later email stated that Classic Collision would repair the AC but again denied responsibility for the windshield. On June 4, I took the vehicle to my own mechanic. He confirmed that the AC was not working and that the cooling system was not functioning properly, causing the engine to overheat. He contacted Classic Collision, which acknowledged the problem and stated they would have the vehicle repaired at a BMW dealership at their expense. Despite emailing multiple people at Classic Collision and sending text messages, I received no response. My mechanic was later told that Classic Collision would tow the vehicle back to their shop. As of the evening of June 5, the vehicle was still sitting at my mechanic's shop and no one from Classic Collision had contacted me directly. This has been the worst automotive repair experience I have had in 68 years. What concerns me most is that a vehicle was released to me after more than three weeks in the shop with major repair work incomplete, including a non-functioning air conditioning system and cooling system problems. The lack of communication has been equally disappointing. Classic Collision acquired this location from Carrillo's Auto Body several years ago. My experience with the current operation has been extremely frustrating. After more than three weeks in the shop and over $17,000 in insurance-paid repairs, my vehicle was returned to me with a non-functioning air conditioning system and cooling system problems that should have been discovered before delivery. The communication throughout the process was poor, and despite repeated promises that management would contact me, no one did. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop to repair my vehicle again, and I would not recommend it to others, particularly owners of BMWs or other luxury vehicles. If a repair facility returns a vehicle with major systems still not functioning properly, it raises serious concerns about both the quality of the repairs and the final inspection process. As of June 5, no one from Classic Collision had contacted me directly about a vehicle they knew had not been properly repaired when it was released to me. I am now once again renting a car so I can get to work and medical appointments while this situation remains unresolved.

I spoke with Tony, who gave his name when he answered the phone. I asked about his services and he said he could take my car right away. Well, I wasn't quite ready but, just after we spoke, he texted me the address information. As I was looking for the business (I drove right by), he called me and talked to me as I drove around to try again. Once he told me how to find them, it was easy. as I drove up, Tony was waiting for me outside and directed me to pull into the garage. As I left my car, I was warmly greeted by one of the technicians. Then Tony came over and told me that my windshield wipers needed replacement, which I pretty much knew, so I authorized that. I found a seat in the shade while the professionals did their work. Tony came by and offered me to sit inside with the air conditioning, but I was fine. Then he brought me a bottle of ice water. I can't really talk about the pricing because I don't have a lot of experience with this but I felt it was a good price and they accept credit cards. They did good work and they vacuumed the glass from the passenger side of the car. I was so appreciative of that. Tony could give a master class in customer service. Let me tell you, when something like this happens, you feel violated. It was very calming to have someone take such good care of me so I was able to go to work for the rest of the day.
