I partially tore the engine splash seal under my car that ended up hanging and dragging on the ground while driving. I immediately went to Jim and Jack's in El Segundo. I explained my car's injury to a woman at the front desk of the clean and neat waiting room and she said Abel Ascencio who was seated at his desk in the office area would have a look. Abel took my car into the body shop and had one of his employees lift it onto a hydraulic lift. He removed the portion that had torn and was hanging off. He was straight forward and honest and explained that I didn't need to have it replaced and that the remaining portion was secure. He did not charge me as he explained it was an easy fix. I recently had my 2021 White Tesla Model Y Long Range repaired at Fix Auto El Segundo - Jim & Jacks, and once again they absolutely exceeded my expectations. I brought my vehicle in on January 8, 2026, and despite the scope of work and the usual insurance delays, they had my car fully repaired and back to me by January 22, 2026. Now my door won't open at all! Please, please, please reconsider taking your Tesla here. I rely heavily on the honest reviews of people on here and I question some of the 5 star reviews since they asked me what they could do or give me in exchange for me updating to a 5 star review. I told them I would not lie, but I thought it was finally fixed. Wrong! Before it went in for repairs, the door worked fine and the damage was purely cosmetic, now I have an unsafe door that trapped passengers inside. This review is late but I took my car here after I was involved in a hit and run. The repairs took longer than expected but I was able to get my car the last day before the rental expired. A couple of days later I noticed the plastic on the door area was not secure. I called and of course the rep did not call me back. Luckily one of my coworkers who is handy got the necessary tool to put it back in place. While it only took him 10 minutes, he should have not had to do that. 10/10 experience! I got hit on the highway by a motorcycle who was speeding and damaged my car pretty bad. It was more than just cosmetic but Jim Jacks worked with my insurance and thankfully I was given the opportunity to work with the rental car company as well (they offer free rides to enterprise up the street). A huge plus about this facility is that they have some type of agreement with enterprise rentals, so the process of getting my rental was seamless and the return was even easier! I just left the rental at this shop once my Tesla was ready and enterprise/jim and jacks handled the rest. Richard was my main point of contact through the process/repair. He was AMAZING. He was communicative, honest, and actually notified me that the repair would be ready a week BEFORE his initial estimate. I took my Model 3 here twice and had a great experience. The first time I had a hit-and-run dent on my left rear panel. They did a great job restoring it. The second time I had a small issue with my underbody splash shield, in which the fasteners got weakened and part of the shield started dragging. I was referred here by my insurance company (USAA) after a minor accident (not my fault!). I was so nervous because this is my very first time ever needing anything repaired in a Tesla, and I've heard horror stories about Tesla repair. They were amazing. It took longer than I'd hoped, but that wasn't their fault, that was a feature of the car and the way it was hit (also I dropped it off a little before Christmas and picked it up a little after New Year's, obviously the holidays slow things down). Abel was my representative, he promised me that everything would be good on the car, and was incredibly detail oriented. He kept in touch throughout the process, and when I got my car back it just blew my expectations away. My car looks better than new. They also washed it, vacuumed the inside, I swear to God my car looks detailed, and maybe it's because I'm comparing it to a cheap rental but my car drives like it's brand new. They were also so helpful in working with my rental car company, they called to let them know when I was ready to be picked up, and they even took the rental for me and returned it for me. The service and the results were spectacular. I highly recommend them for all of your car needs, and as a Tesla driver who has been tremendously nervous to need anything done on it, even though El Segundo is a little bit of a hike from Brentwood where I live, I'll be coming here for any other repair needs. UPDATED:... STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This has NOT been a good year for my Tesla Model 3... When it got hit on Christmas Eve of 2024, I took it to Fix Auto El Segundo Jim & Jack's to get fixed and they did an amazing job. Please see my review from Feb 2025. Several weeks ago in June, my Tesla Model 3 was parked at the hospital parking lot where I work, and someone scratched my vehicle's driver rear bumper and tail light. This person left a note with a phone number but long story short, this collision was considered a "hit-and-run". I stopped by Jim & Jack's to ask for an estimate. Richard was my representative. He is professional and compassionate, sympathizing with my situation. He never pressured me for a decision but instead just simply presented me with the options of either living with the scratches or paying out of pocket for repairs or going through the repairs with insurance. He even offered to bring the car to the repair shop and see if they could buff out the scratches. Unfortunately, buffing did not work b/c even though the scratches were a small surface area, they were deep enough they got down to the base metal layer... I was still weighing all my options over the next several days when Tesla Insurance found the culprit of this collision and informed me that my repair would be fully covered under my policy so I moved forward with the claim and repairs. Due to my job and crazy work hours, it took a bit of time to coordinate with Jim & Jack's the best time to drop off my vehicle. Richard and the rest of the staff were very understanding of my hectic work schedule. I finally was able to make it late Friday afternoon, 30minutes before they closed! Christina helped me with the process. She also graciously noted that I'd be on business for 2 weeks and would ideally pick up my repaired vehicle upon my return! Thankfully, all repairs were completed while I was away and my car was all ready for me bright and early on the Mon of my return. I accidentally scraped the left side of my quarter panel on my SUV. My Lexus is 10 years old , but I keep it in the garage and maintain it on a regular basis. I went to Jim and jacks and spoke with Gus. Gus examined the damage and estimated $2,500-$3100. Gus explained they would remove the entire quarter panel and left side, including spray painting over the area. The job would take approximately 2 weeks and it took only one week to complete the job. I was pleasantly surprised and happy on such a professional job was done. The final charge was under $3100 and made the exterior look brand new again. The work done to fix our car after an auto accident was solid. Can't tell that there was any damage after they finished. However, the bad experience came at pick up time. My mistake was leaving cash in our middle console when we dropped off the car. I know better but also thought I was dropping my car off at a reputable place + figured the damage was to outside of the car, not the inside and they would have no reason to go through my car. Anyway, at pick up time I realized that my cash was missing. I didn't even ask for them to pay it back I simply stated that it was disappointing to see that my money had gone missing in the two weeks it was on their lot. they immediately got defensive blaming me for leaving money in the car, blaming it on a 3rd-paty, blah blah. I was hoping they would acknowledge it and investigate but I guess its easier to blame customers. I'm confident that it was their carwash people since I also had one of my nice cleaning rags taken from my car + would have been the group that spent time inside my car. Anyway, they do good work on the car but the fact that their is no accountability on their end and didn't even bother to look into the matter tells me that they are aware of it and don't care. read more

This place is amazing. They took care of my Tesla even though insurance might not even cover for certain expenses and gave them a hard time . Richard is especially professional.
