First of all the food is fresh and delicious. You feel like you're eating a home cooked meal! The omlettes are delicious and super filling. The options for mimosas are endless! The service is great, you don't have to wait forever but you are not annoyed by someone asking if everything is okay. You really get a good feel for the history of the neighborhood as well! It's clean and comfortable. Never disappointed when I have gone there.

Service was great! Our waitress made sure our glasses were full and we were taken care of. I enjoyed my breakfast but the toasties were a let down. They were soaked with oil and were tasteless and dense.

The dude and I came to the Mimosa House a weee bit ago. I was eyeing this place for many years and finally had the opportunity to try it out. It's cozy inside and like a warm comfort feeling. So I loved the atmosphere. It wasn't busy when we came but started to pick up. Along with to go orders. The staff as so lovely and quick. They have so many mimosas options we tried a few of them and all were delicious! We tried the burrito and the sandwich with fries. So much food!!! It was so good. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back again. It was nice start to our day.

I went to the mimosa house with a girlfriend and we had a great time! The mimosa sampler was 10/10 because we got to try multiple flavors! (The peach was my favorite!) Our waitress was incredibly attentive for how busy it was (you know usual Sunday rush.) it was a bit loud but eh...I talk lound anyways!

I finally made it to The Mimosa House in downtown Sacramento and wow--what an experience! This spot is always busy, and for good reason! I've heard nothing but great reviews, and now I see why. First off, the mimosa selection is incredible--I was in heaven! I went with the Baja Sunrise, and it was absolutely delicious. As for the food, I couldn't resist trying Mom's morning tacos, and they were fantastic! Of course, I had to add avocado--my fav topping! The service was excellent; we had reservations and got seated right away. Our server was very attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I'm already counting down the days until I can come back and try something new!

Recently visited in the early morning for breakfast. Only a few parties seated, so plenty of open seating available. I can see how this place can get super busy later in the day. Our orders were put in, and not too long coming out. We ordered the waffle and banana pancake combo. We enjoyed our meals that we each finished it! I felt like the banana pancakes were different, but delicious. I'd go back there again for that. Parking can be tricky, but there is street parking as well.

Oat milk brown sugar coffee... topped with real whipped cream??

Sooo I should've listened to my Yelp buddies' reviews before coming here, but my in-laws swore by Mimosa House's other location in Gold River. This was an overall unpleasant experience. From trying to find parking, to the dining environment, from the food to the coffee. I unfortunately cannot recommend this spot to anyone. First off, it was nearly impossible to find parking. When we did, we had to park on the street in a neighborhood and walked in the rain to get to the restaurant. Once inside, it was loud, crowded, and stuffy. I couldn't even have a conversation with my in-laws; it was that bad. As people are waiting for a table, they congregate indoors, causing the hostess to scream at the top of her lungs to redirect them outside. Our server was nice enough. No real complaints about him. But the coffee baffled me. I ordered a brown sugar coffee (which by default is made with oat milk) and to my surprise, came topped with real whipped cream. This wasn't listed on the menu. Now the food. I opted for the veggie scramble and house potatoes, assuming they'd be preferable over the hash browns. I was wrong. This scramble was wet and reminiscent of pre-chewed food. The potatoes were even more wet; not a single crunch was heard. I nibbled on what I could and we left as soon as possible. Overall, this place is loud, disorganized, and unappetizing. I'm not sure how they stay in business. Patrons have to be intoxicated to eat here because I don't think I'd ever come back, not sober at least.

I was just here yesterday for a Galentine's Day brunch with my sisters. For starters, we got the the Oreo Toasties. The moment we got a bite out of them, we were in love. We also got Truffle Herb Fries and they were scrumptious. As for main dishes, I got the Roseville omelet, my younger sister got chocolate chip pancakes and my older sister got a Benedict. The service was amazing, couples were coming in to celebrate Valentine's Day, and I remember hearing wine bottles being opened to celebrate. The environment was smooth sailing too. Our waitress, Alexis, was super friendly and made sure our time here was excellent. Next time, for sure, I am coming back. 100%

My Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, with home fries and my mimosa sampler.

Just left the Mimosa house after an amazing brunch, celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. My wife had the "Ocean omelet", and I had the Crab Eggs Benedict, both were exceptional! We also both had the sampler of mimosas, and split a delicious spicy Bloody Mary. In addition to the food being wonderful, our server Cora was attentive, funny and informative. There is no way that we won't be back again!

Came here for Sunday brunch and it's a nice location in East Sac with a chill vibe. I ordered the chicken fried steak and thought it was just okay. Large portion. Would have preferred it to be a bit crispier. I like the gravy they put on top. The eggs were rather bland but the potatoes were enjoyable. Friendly service, constantly checked in on us.

    Chiliquilles

The food was edible I ordered the SF skillet, I substituted the cream cheese and parmesan for cheddar. They literally place a slice of cheddar on top. I'm not sure if it was real cheese because it didn't melt and was hard around the edges and oily. The chiliquilles were sub par, it looked like they dipped the chips in sauce and that was about it. So basically it was chips with eggs. The server had no enthusiasm. I'm pretty sure it was too early for him because he still had sleep around his mouth. They offered indoor or outside seating, I opted for outside. Well the tables and chairs were dusty. I understand it is outside however, whe I arrived there were several servers gathered together chit chatting. This should be part of opening procedures wipe down the tables and chairs to prepare for your guest. Instead I was wiping them down. I asked them to wipe down the bird poop. This is not the place ti visit if you're not drinking. I guess if we had been we wouldn't have noticed all the things gone wrong. I sent the utensils back because it had someone else's food on it and the water glass had lipstick that wasn't mines. All in all I had a bad experience. So much for the birthday celebration.

Unfortunately, our dinner experience was disappointing because of repeated mistakes from the kitchen. Our waitress was wonderful and did everything she could to make things right, but there were so many issues with our order that it became difficult to fully enjoy the meal. We started with the blistered shishitos, which were solid. They use larger shishito peppers than what I've typically seen at other restaurants, and they were nicely prepared. Next was the seasonal stone fruit salad, which tasted great, but it arrived without the burrata. When we asked about it, our waitress checked with the kitchen and came back to let us know they had run out of burrata and provided a substitution of a different cheese. I appreciated her honesty and effort, but I wish the kitchen had been upfront about the situation instead of serving the dish without mentioning it, hoping that I wouldn't notice and charge me full price for the salad. The lobster rolls were another letdown. They arrived without the chive aioli, and the rolls themselves were not that great. The butter was served on the side, which also felt a bit odd. The standout dish of the night was the Revival Burger. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out closer to medium-well. Even so, it was still flavorful and probably the best thing we ordered. We also agreed to pay an extra $5 for the truffle fries, but regular fries arrived instead. By that point, I felt bad asking our waitress to make yet another trip back to the kitchen, so I just asked her to remove the truffle fry upcharge from the bill. The Midsummer Melon cocktail was generously sized, refreshing, and enjoyable, although we honestly wondered whether it contained much alcohol since neither of us felt much from it. To the restaurant's credit, our waitress handled every issue professionally and graciously. She apologized throughout the meal and ultimately removed the cost of one appetizer from our bill to make up for the repeated mistakes, which I appreciated. While the service at the table was great, the number of kitchen errors--from missing ingredients and incorrect substitutions to forgotten sauces, an overcooked burger, and the wrong fries--made the overall experience frustrating. Because of the lack of consistency and attention to detail from the kitchen, I don't think I'd return, despite the lovely atmosphere and excellent service from our waitress.
