Delicious breakfast spot. Quick service and cute ambiance. Love that their is indoor and outdoor seating!! I chose outside with south beach vibes. Food was very good, I ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant which was so big!!! I can't wait to eat it again. Bacon was crispy just like I like it!

Located in a great area where there is a good amount of shopping, I stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered the egg, bacon and cheese croissant and it came with the best potatoes I've had in a while. Also got a cafe latte. So yummy. Nice service. Decent price for the area. If you're not super hungry, 2 people could probably share this.

Very cute ambiance and loved the outdoor seating. Ordered the bloody mary pitcher and didn't even get buzzed, our server said it's because they don't have an alcohol license so they use alcohol with very minimal percentage. The service wasn't good and also wasn't bad but i felt more of a nuisance than an invited guest.

We walked here for breakfast last Friday morning. The Resturant wasn't too busy and it was being run by two ladies. We were seated quickly. I ordered a mango, banana, and pineapple smoothie and the florentine Benedict. My date ordered a peanut butter and banana smoothie and the Italian omelette. Our smoothies came out first and they were so good! They weren't too sweet, which was perfect! Our food came out next. The Florentine Benedict ended up being a salmon Benedict (instead of spinach). Overall the food was really good. The potatoes were garlic heavy, so just a FYI. The only reason I took a star off was because no one ever came back to check on us or bring us the check. We had to go to the front of the restaurant and ask for the check ourselves. Overall, the food and ambiance was great. I'd come back here again.

This little gem turned out to be the perfect brunch vibe. The food was good, service was great, and the mimosas were refreshingly satisfying. Ordered the three egg breakfast that offers a large portion of food coming with sausage and bacon, three eggs to order, delicious potatoes, and toast. We added to strawberry banana waffle for something sweet. It was a little dry and not as fluffy as we would have liked. Mimosas were refreshingly tasty. We chose pineapple mimosas.

Ate here over the Memorial Day weekend for brunch with a large group (~10 people). Luckily they had plenty of room for us so we were able to easily be serviced here. Had a good number of menu options to choose from. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and a few of us did the mimosa pitcher option, not the bottomless - it ended up being more cost effective for us in the end and we could change the juice options we wanted. We all felt our food was tasty, good portion size and came out in good timing. If you are looking for a place to get a bite and don't necessarily need the party brunch vibe further down on Ocean and Collins, this is a good place to check out.

Super close to the beach. Was seated quickly for a Sunday morning! The coffee was yum and the outdoor seating was elevated which is nice! A lot of the restaurant seating in the area is on sidewalk level which can make it kinda awkward to eat with people walking so close. The croissant was huge and fluffy. Loved the striped accents on the decor !

First impression is that the staff was so friendly and attentive! My next favorite thing was the BACON! I don't care what you order, let it have some bacon! We order a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was so good -- because again, that bacon was really good. Thick enough to know it's real, thin enough to chew. The potatoes weren't my favorite, it was too much rosemary used that day, but I loved that they were seasoned at all. I ordered lemonade, which was good, but the strawberry lemonade I left with was even better. The orange juice and sprite were a little flat, but that's ok. They have great items on the menu so I would definitely recommend coming back and I'll be back to try more things.

Solid experience here! This will become one of my go-to spots when I am in the area. The place is not upscale, but I had a problem free experience. GLOWS: -Service is effective and efficient - The food is actually good- they have an expansive menu and it was all great. - Outdoor seating that is covered with a nice view of the street (not the most updated set up but it does the trick) -Champagne bottle that comes with the "pitcher of mimosa" that way you can control how strong you make them. -No reservations, but we were able to be seated easily on a Sunday. GROWS: - They do not have Turkey meat products in their menu, so my breakfast was a little skimp without a replacement.

This restaurant recently opened. I work at a local hotel and we are always looking for options around the area. I went with 3 co workers to try the food. Asked for split checks before we ordered and the waitress immediately said no with an attitude. When a coworker who had been here previously stated that this had been done before the waitress rolled her eyes and said Ok whatever. People like this should not work in the service industry. There are many other places to spend my money where I will be appreciated and not treated like a nuisance. Not only did the waitress ruin the possibility of at the minimum an $80 dollar lunch, I wont ever come here again. First impressions are very important and thanks to the waitress this sour experience ruined it all. Good luck. read more

A gorgeous spot on the beautiful Collins Avenue. We stopped off for a cocktail and some chicken wings. You could actually taste the alcohol in the cocktail and the chicken wings were gorgeous. It was excellent value because we were here at happy hour!! The staff were super duper friendly and helpful.....and we didn't have to wait long for the order! It was nice to watch the people walk by, the fancy cars drive past....and get a little durnk...i mean drunk!! read more

Drug addicts will harass patio diners with impunity. The food is blah, but way overpriced. The servers and manager make a lot of mistakes for it not being busy. The 1 Star is for being clean, but the themes of this place is one of the reasons why south beach is in decline these days. Very unimpressive. read more

Was searching for breakfast places & came across this place. Lovely location, beautiful view. The food was wonderfully portioned, not too much but absolutely not too little. Staff was friendly, especially to have came on Christmas. I noticed no animosity for the staff to be scheduled. A beautiful view, beautiful people, beautiful food. Our waitress was polite, knowledgable, and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our time. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Came in after a loooong day at the beach. I was a hot mess and needed to just sit in a cool and nice place. Stumbled upon this cafe and really enjoyed my drink and food. I was seated quickly, the waiter was really efficient and attentive. Originally I was worried since the place was packed and there were only two waiters for the whole restaurant. But they attended everyone and made sure everything was running smoothly. The cafe is also cheap! Pricing was not what I expected, in a good way, especially since this is a block away from the beach. read more

After visiting this restaurant I have left never wanting to return. From the poor service to the terrible food, I will not return. Waiting 10 minutes for condiments and non-bruised avocado I was fed up with this place. The place is so understaffed to the point where I had to walk inside to pay for my bill. The food was terrible. Left my stomach hurting for the next 2 hours. Not worth the time or money. I will never return to this place. I also observed two other customers walking away disappointed after receiving terrible service. If I wanted to be treated like this I would've cooked breakfast at home for myself. read more

Kinda just stumbled upon this place by accident. Easter Sunday and the beach was still packed. Waiting for friends before heading to the club, I decided to pop in for a quick bite. That quick bite turned into a steak and bottle of champagne, but hey I earned it. My meal was cooked to perfection, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. By SOBE standards, this place was nowhere near expensive. I really feel the meal was worth every penny. I'll be sure to keep this place in mind for all future visits to the area.. read more

Huge yelp letdown. Went by here for a sunday brunch after reading the largely positive yelp reviews for the place. Our first clue to the impending disappointment should have been the fact that the place was not crowded at peak brunch time. Nevertheless, we decided to give the place a try over others in the area - bad idea. It was a beautiful sunny Miami morning but we had to be content with sitting indoors because they could not accommodate a group of 6 outside, not their fault, space constraints I imagine. The inside is done up nicely, the decor has a french Canadian theme which suits the place nicely. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server. Lovely, charming, attentive and friendly guy so much so that it almost guilts me to give the place a negative review. If the quality of food was even half as decent as that of the service I would have reconsidered. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case. The menu is limited in terms of offering many brunch items, their choices of eggs were limited to 3 or 4 varieties. Instead the entrees were largely made up of pasta, salads and sandwiches. We got cheese fries and guac/chips as our appetizers - pretty standard but ended up being the best parts of a rather unsatisfactory meal. As our entrees we got the 4 cheese pasta, a chicken sandwich and a wrap and an order of fish tacos. The pasta was a messy goop of spaghetti which needed copius amounts of black pepper and hot sauce to make it somewhat appealing for the sake of science if not taste. The chicken diahes were supposed to come with a range of condiments but didn't and were largely inedible. And the fish would be mighty upset their life was cut short to end up in those tacos. We didn't get drinks so can't speak for the quality of those. Maybe we picked the wrong stuff on the menu and the rest of the items are better but for everything to be in the range of bleh to bad for a party of six is inexcusable. Again the staff is fantastic so I do apologize to them for this negative reviews but otherwise there was practically nothing to write home about. read more

- this restaurant has yet to disappoint! Delish Mimosas and Blood Mary's. The portions for breakfast, lunch and dinner are just right!! Staff this week were on par!! They even remembered us and welcomed us back. Everything is fresh! AND this may sound weird - but it's the only place we found with home-brew REGULAR unsweet tea!!! We have never had a long wait to be seated!!! If you are looking for a relax atmosphere as a couple or a family - then this is a safe bet. read more

We stopped into this place as we were getting sick of the prices on Ocean Drive. The food was good, server was friendly and got the order right, espresso was decent and prices were fair. The menu isn't incredibly diverse but was worth the price for sure. read more

We stopped by for breakfast. There was nice outdoor seating, but we opted to eat inside because several diners were smoking at the time. If this doesn't bother you then I would definitely sit outside and watch the cars and people go by. The breakfast was tasty and reasonably price. This restaurant is a decent breakfast option close to the beach. read more

Fl cafe has one of the best tasting breakfast in all of South beach. The orange and apple juice is freshly made and tasted amazing. French toast is nice a fluffy so were the eggs. Staff was very friendly and always checked up on us. Defiantly will be back here when I come back to South Beach. read more

Ordered the steak and eggs as well as a panini. The food was way below average. The panini was literally a tomato and a slice of mozzarella cheese in between two slices of bread. The worst part about this place is the service is TERRIBLE. I asked if they were still serving breakfast and the guys response if that's what you want to call him was "if you want breakfast then go down the street". After taking our order we never once saw them again until they came to "make sure" we paid. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone for any reason. read more

If you are thinking of coming here. Don't. They are severely under staffed for a sunday brunch crowd. I can't even blame our waitress for being terrible. I couldnt perform much better. Waited for 10 mins for menus before we finally went and got them ourselves. Ordered a sprite, by the time she actually delivered to the table the ice had melted almost all the way. I get that I am in Miami and it is hot, but I should have at least had a couple sips that that actually tasted and had the fizzies. Ordered the eggs Benedict. I wouldnt waste my time again on that. Don't think the cook even cared about what a poached egg is suppose to be. My egg was well over hard. Needless to say given the choice to come back.... I would not. read more

This is an adorable little cafe in the heart of Miami, just around the corner from the beach side. We came here after wandering around for a good place to brunch, and the outdoor seating with the nice shading was just perfect. I got the french toast special, and I didn't even need to add the syrup because they were already sweet enough for my liking. The scrambled eggs were on point and were fluffy and smooth, and I got some iced coffee to go along with my meal. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience. read more

This place is a quaint cafe on Collins that offers European style breakfast. I enjoyed my "healthy options" Veggie Egg white sandwich! It was the perfect balance to start the day off with avocado, spinach, tomato, hint of lime and delicate blend of herbs. We also had a side of mixed fruit which was surprisingly a large portion! They also offer unlimited Mimosas/Bloody Mary's for those who need a morning libation! Philip was our server and he was very pleasant! This place was pretty good, especially in comparison to every other place in Miami, which basically had the same menu from place to place. FL Cafe had a little more variety, and portions were generous considering the prices. The service was slow, but that's probably because an 18% gratuity is already included. All in all, the place was good enough that I went here once for dinner and once for lunch! read more

Food was really good. Best breads I had. However our server was in a hurry and I felt like she gave us attitude. When we paid we wanted separate checks and told us it should have been done before eating. She got pissed off at us and didn't smile nor showed Great customer service. Average food. I had the Caribbean salad, which was very light and average sized portion for the price. The tomatoes were squishy and not very firm. The taste was blah. The coke machine must have been off because the Coke tasted just like Diet Coke (twice). Didn't drink it. The wait staff was not very attentive. I had stop two other waiters to ask for some assistance (like more water and to ask for a different coke). Overall, I was not impressed with the service or food. The outside seating was its redeeming quality. Great location for people watching. read more

Great corner cafe with great selection of breakfast items. My wife got 2 eggs over and easy for $6.50, which was served with bacon, and toast. I got an Italian omelette with a side of sausage for $15. The food was delicious. We sat at the outside patio area and were able to enjoy the sun. Coming from colder climate, this is definitely a plus. I highly recommend this cafe. read more

Very good food!! Ordered the French Toast special with eggs, sausage and home made potatoes. Everything was cooked from scratch and was cooked to perfection. This is a must try! Freshly squeezed orange juice was the best! Not too sweet, not too bitter. Will try dinner from here this evening. read more

Absolutely amazing food and good price. Everything in south beach has been so expensive for a little bit of food but this place was far better than any place we have been to here. So happy we finally had a good meal. We came here for brunch so I can't speak for dinner but the food was just so good. I had the salmon on a bagel and it was so fresh and a lot of food. So good, got the Mahi Mahi with side salad, perfect dinner before going out. Got in and slept for a few hours then walked across the street to grab food to go. Amazing service comfortable waiters and great food. He wrapped it all up great and made sure we had everything we needed to eat at hotel. Will probably go again before leaving. read more

She was grumpy, not engaging, and when she spoke her voice was so deep and off putting that it frightened me. The culinary offerings, reminds me of a hospital cafeteria from the 80s/90s . The worst part was the theming and lack of ambiance. It felt like a seedy nightclub or raggedy adult club you have to take a shower after leaving. I had to apologize to wife for such a poor experience. Bad husband! Also, I believe the operation was being managed or run by a small family of 4/5 people with no hospitality, culinary, or service experience. Finally, for $100, I never have to go there again. The only downside was that the hotel is extremely loud at night. We knew what to expect from reading previous reviews, so it wasn't a surprise, but it's worth mentioning. I was also a little disappointed by the restaurant service, which felt indifferent and not especially welcoming. I joined Yelp for the sole purpose of writing a review for this criminal establishment... THE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS RESTAURANT ARE BULLIES, THIEVES, & LIARS, AND THEIR CONTAMINATED FOOD SENT MY FRIEND TO THE ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After irresponsibly and blatantly over-serving several members of our group to wrack up our bill (...we overheard staff discussing it on our way to the bathroom and it clearly wasn't a secret lol), the staff was somehow shocked and immediately aggressive when some cheap lighting fixture accidentally got damaged by someone who tripped. It was totally fixable and we attempted to work with them to resolve it, and yet the management was SO rude, SO aggressive, and SO inappropriate to us, even despite us trying to cooperate with them. They got physically aggressive with our group (even the women!!!) and we even considered calling the police. They presented us with a totally fake bill containing additional drinks and food we had never ordered and, not wanting any further trouble (or for women to be physically assaulted by pathetic men looking to feel tough in their menial restaurant jobs), we were forced to pay. During this time, my friend's phone (which had been sitting right on the table the entire time, and in an area where ONLY our group was sitting) magically went missing after several more staff members got involved. The staff denied any knowledge of it... yet later made an off-hand comment as we were leaving that "maybe if you didn't break our property, she'd have her phone." ARE YOU JOKING??!?!?!!?! We spoke to the police the next day, who said we should have called them right then and there and that the restaurant had NO legal right to overcharge us or hold my friend's property as collateral for their damaged property. Since too much time had passed, they couldn't do much of anything. THEN, later that same night, a friend who had eaten at the restaurant (and ONLY at the restaurant that day) came down with a case of food poisoning so severe, she eventually had to go to the ER. BULLIES, THIEVES, LIARS, AND CONTAMINATED FOOD... LITERALLY NEVER GO HERE, YOU WILL BE ATTACKED, ROBBED, AND WIND UP IN THE HOSPITAL. We have the Verizon receipt and Mt. Sinai bill to prove it. *****MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE***** I was present for the entire incident, was not intoxicated, and witnessed the way your staff (and you, the owner) handled the situation. Perhaps it is you who no longer remembers your condition at the time, because your conduct was completely inappropriate and your staff even stated that "Yeah he has a pretty bad temper." Perhaps approaching a drunk person who was over-served by YOUR bartenders (and which is ultimately YOUR responsibility... take a look into Florida state's dram shop laws) with anger and aggression will result in receiving the same treatment back? You didn't approach her calmly or looking for an apology, I watched you walk up to her with fists clenched and looking for a fight... ALL of us would vouch. Further, we also have cell phone footage and voice recordings (on several of the phones your employees didn't steal) of what was said, how it was said, and what was demanded... you screamed at us that you wanted $1000 for the broken glass while members of our group asked you to calm down and please back away from them... I just watched/listened to it with my colleagues. Do you recall your own condition now? You also conveniently didn't address the falsified bill, the drunk girl's stolen phone (which your staff basically admitted to stealing), or the food poisoning. An eye for an eye-- and done purely out of maliciousness-- will get you nowhere. Except maybe looking more unprofessional... although I'm not sure how that's possible for this place at the moment.I can't imagine what pleasure any of us-- or our other colleagues or clients in the area-- would derive in ever returning to (or trying) your establishment, but thanks for the kind offer. Further, it's rather suspicious (and pathetic) that a glowing 5-star review using similar language as to what the owner used in their response to me magically appeared just MINUTES after the owner responded to my negative review... and by someone who had never posted a Yelp review before ever. This fake 5-star review was also supposedly written by someone who coincidentally just happened to be at the restaurant at the exact same time that we were over 2 weeks ago and who just happened to witness the entire event as well... and who just happened to casually notice my review from minutes prior while they were surfing Yelp??? The owner very clearly either created a fake profile to combat my negative review and blatantly encourage people not to read the comments, or coerced someone they knew in that very moment (perhaps a staff member?) to join Yelp and write the fake review. Avoid this cafe at all costs!! There is a horrible, rude, arrogant server called Sergio who thinks he can talk to customers however he wants and obviously has no idea of the meaning of polite, customer service!! When I walked in the evening I was there I was seated by a younger much more polite server and I told him I was waiting for my friend and asked for the WIFI details as any customer is entitled to ask. I then sat there for less than 5 minutes waiting for my friend when suddenly the rude, arrogant server Sergio appeared in front of my table with menus in his hand which he more or less slammed down and told me I could not sit there waiting without ordering something, those were the first words out of his mouth!! I was so disgusted by his rudeness I told him I don't have to order anything until my friend arrives which was my right to sit and wait as it would be for any customer. His response was that, to quote, "if you don't like it you can leave"!!!! I then got up and went inside the bar to ask his name which I didn't know at that point and told him I would be speaking to the owner about him the next day!! He told me "I don't have to give you my name"!! This guy was the epitome of the word RUDE!!! I found FL Cafe by accident while looking for a place to eat on a business trip, and was very glad I did. The food is delicious, the staff is charming, and the mojitos are perfect. I spoke with the owner and the chef while I ate my churrasco steak (with a delicious, fresh chimichurry, topping a tender steak). Baking is done on premises, and I had the French Apple Pie, and took a crescent roll for the road. Passing by Collins Avenue looking for a place for dinner, I saw this restaurant at the corner and I liked the decor so original and I liked the terrace. So I decided to try this new place. I got the Mushroom Vol au Vent and .... Wow so good !!! I loved it !! And my Tuna as entrée was as amazing as it looks !! And my friend also loved his Aioli Pasta.
